I often come here with a friend who lives right nearby. As she is a regular (and I mainly always come with her), the staff tend to be super friendly.
Anywho, I love coming here for the terrasse, aka the outdoor seating. This is the perfect place for a drink or coffee when it's nice out. (The terrasse can fill up quickly on sunny days, as is to be expected).
They do have happy hour, I can't remember exactly until when or the prices, but it is reasonable. Not the cheapest happy hour in Paris per say, but it's standard, and the basic pint of beer is Stella. They do also have special "beer of the month" beers that are on rotation, and come from all over - once I had a pint from Brooklyn brewery, another time a red ale from Newcastle (if I remember correctly!).
They usually give homemade chips to customers with their drinks, which is cool. One time I wasn't given the chips though (despite seeing the other tables with them), and had to ask for them. dun dun dun.
As for the food here, I've had their salads (filling and delicious), and their burgers (also on point). The café gourmand is amazing, if you're into sweets (you get a coffee and a sampling of mini desserts). The only complaint for the food is that once the salad leaves were a bit wilted, and another time the goat cheese tasted a little off.
Ah, for those who come here often for meals, they do have a loyalty card that u can get. After 10 stamps, u get a free or discounted meal (my card is at home and I can't remember). If u think you will be back here, don't hesitate to ask for the carte de fidélité. (Unfortunately, there isn't a loyalty card for drinks! Haha).
Overall, a cool place to come to for the amazing terrasse if u want to catch whatever rays of sun u can in Paris ;) read more
