Besides being located in The Stanley Marketplace (not my scene), this place is great! I didn't know they had other locations so will certainly visit them at the Broadway location next time. Their sushi is very tasty, fresh and has always been great the times we've had to be at this location due to meeting up with friends, etc. The teenage staff can be snarky here but consider the location. Highly recommend Misaki for their sushi! read more

Wonderful sushi. Could eat here every day! It never disappoints. Try the rolls or go sashimi style.

I've uploaded a few menus. I didn't see any menus when i wanted to order last night. I hope this will be helpful to everyone. THANK YOU! read more

This place...bring your wallet. But also be prepared to be amazed. The head sushi chef has connections all over the globe and Denver, and he knows what he's talking about. The fish is super fresh and tasty. The location is not my favorite for such an amazing sushi menu, but whatever. I'll deal with that. I was extremely impressed with this place. I'm still saving up money to do it right. read more

BEST SUSHI PLACE!!! NICEST PEOPLE WORKING HERE!! go go go here!!! Also amazing vegetarian options. Get the veggie tempura roll and veggie gyzo... sooo good. Also my friend loved her classic California roll and her pork gyzo. We started with a seaweed salad and edamame too which was light, refreshing, and delicious!!! Thank you for staying open during the storm!!! Also Robert is the best!!!! read more

Best sushi in Denver. Highly recommend to anyone at Stanley marketplace. Service and prices are great.

Love this place! The avocado roll & the California roll never disappoint. Reasonably priced as well.

Amazing sushi in the Stanley Marketplace! The rice was amazing, fish fresh, mussels delicious...

Miso cod is good and taste good as other authentic Japanese restaurant with affordable price.. calamari not bad, but it was already better than most of Resturant in the States read more

It's not always easy to find good sushi in Denver. This place is up there. I've gotten both take out and dine in. The dine in is a fun experience in the middle of Stanley Market with nice decor of motorcycle tables. The sushi is good and you can watch them prepare it. They also have a nice selection of appetizers. Their karate chicken is delicious. read more

I need to take the time out to write a review about this place because it is worth all the accolades I am about to give it. Life story time: We just moved here from TX and we were very worried that there wouldn't be ample Asian food, specifically Vietnamese food. We were wrong, plenty of good options here in Denver. (HMU if you want recs) What we embarrassingly forgot to account for was the lack of fresh seafood. I know, duh it's a landlocked state. All of this to say, this place not only meets, but exceeds our expectations for fresh sushi grade fish. We spoke with Charlene, one of the owners, and she explained to us that she is a direct buyer and preorders her fish to get them at discount. She passes those discounts on to us the consumers! You can tell she has a passion for her craft, hiring the best sushi chefs, and creating an atmosphere so you can enjoy your meal. In acknowledgement of the busy rush time, we were there around 6:30 on a Saturday night and tickets printing so quickly that they can barely keep up, the husband preemptively bought us out some complimentary miso soup! Such a nice gesture, I promise we didn't complain initially. The meal was spaced out accordingly so we can enjoy the lighter tasting fish first to the more robust ones last. If you're looking for quantity over quality, GTFO of here. It's not the place and don't shit on their reviews for it. We will pay for good quality fish any day and this place is worth your money. It's honestly reasonable for what you get because we enjoyed every bite until the last. They have a rotating menu that highlights special shipments of fish direct from Japan/ Scotland /other places I forgot! We tried the O-Toro and King Salmon! Omg melt in your mouth. We were also given fresh / real wasabi so we can truly enjoy the quality of fish given without any extra charge. I freaking appreciate that. We also tried the Green Hama, yellowtail based roll. Lawd, this was a crispy, but very light roll that was full of flavor. I loathe saucy rolls with cream cheese. It completely masks the flavor of the fish so that's a hard pass for me. I appreciate a well thought out roll that titillates the tastebuds and this one did just that. I cannot wait to try more. Charlene told us to come back on the non-rush times so we can enjoy the Chef's special Omakase! It was like music to our ears and she proceeded to show us amazing pictures of past creations. Needless to say, we will be back. Yes we are sushi snobs, but eff you should be! You're eating raw fish, how are you going to complain about pricing when they deliver quality fish here?! Sigh, so please support this business and get all your delicious sushi cravings satisfied here. You will not be disappointed!! Thanks for reading my long ass review! :) read more

Pleasantly surprised!! This place was phenomenal. The rolls are absolutely delicious and all the sushi and nigiri is very fresh. The staff was also very welcoming. They had a ton of appetizers that you don't see on many sushi restaurant menus, for example, shrimp dumplings, dynamite scallops and asparagus, and miso black cod. We will definitely be back as there as so many things we've yet to try! read more

Great service, big rolls, delicious! fun atmosphere, can't recommend enough! Pot stickers with wings of crispies. Even the California rolls made us mmmmm. There's a roll with eel and topped with strawberries that is crazy and amazing. Go try it. read more

It can be hit or miss when you have sushi in a land locked state, especially when it's in a strip mall or marketplace type environment. But you still never be disappointed with Misaki! It's ALWAYS guaranteed to knock it out of the park! read more

Being recent transplants to Denver from Los Angeles, we had to find a great sushi spot asap! My partner and I came across Misaki on this platform and decided to try it out due to the high ratings and closeness to home. First off, being introduced to The Stanley via Misaki was also a blessing! They have so many little eateries and a brewing company inside that we also plan to try out soon. Misaki itself is small but has ample seating and the staff has been super friendly over the phone and in person. I don't even feel ashamed saying we've been there twice now having just discovered it a week ago. The sushi selection is decent, but the taste and quality is amazing. We've tried several different rolls, but it's usually easy to tell how good a place is by their simple cut rolls, like yellowtail or tuna. And thankfully, those were JUST as good as their tempura and specialty rolls! Good ratio of rice to fish/filling. This last time we ordered, my boyfriend forgot to pay because the hostess handed him the food just like that, so he assumed I'd paid over the phone like I did the first time. They simply called and explained the error and I paid over the phone again... I bring that up because I've experienced horrible customer service in situations like this or similar, and it was nice to hear the hostess apologize, even though it was totally our mistake for me not having been specific with him about that lol Overall, great food and great staff... the location is also super cool and comes off like a local spot, which of course, is now one of our spots :) Oh, and the prices are super decent, two hungry people ate a good amount of sushi for just a little over $50 dollars! read more

Some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. 5/5 - great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Stanley Marketplace is a little off the beaten path but a well-developed market with a clear vibe in mind. The boutiques, restaurants, and other shops give the market a very hipster/bohemian vibe and Misaki fits right in. The decor calls to mind smaller shops in Japan and Southeast Asia while remaining both urban and modern so that it doesn't seem the least bit out of place. The food is what you would expect from a quality sushi restaurant - amazing. Try the fresh fish, because it is actually fresh. The highlight from our meal there was the mackerel, flown in to Denver from Japan, only a little extra but worth every penny. Robert recommended it - be sure to ask the staff for recommendations if you aren't sure what may tickle your palate. A potential downside, and not something that really detracts from the experience, is the wait. Misaki is popular because it's a restaurant dedicated to quality and it shows. Tl;dr: 5/5, can't recommend it enough, will be back in the future. read more

We were at the Stanley Marketplace and chose this place over several other possibiltles based on Yelp reviews. Yelpers are correct again! The place is modest, yet charming. The sushi is super fresh. Service was attentive. It is worth a visit just to see the funky serving tables, but the very best reason to eat here is the food. We felt like we had lunch at Sushi Den sans the expense and high end decor. The Japanese fried chicken was a special, unexpected treat. read more

I've been stalking this location each time I go to Stanley Marketplace; I've watched it come together bit by bit as the owners have worked to make their stall gorgeous and welcoming. When I saw that it had finally opened, I had to stop in to try it. I was a little disappointed that the tables were all full- there isn't a lot of space right at the stall- but I made up for it by taking my food upstairs to Infinite Monkey Theorem and pairing it with a glass of white wine. I started with a simple order, and they really got it right. The yellowtail nigiri was fresh with just the right amount of rice- it was the perfect bite. The California and avocado rolls were both light and refreshing, perfect for lunch. I predict that this will easily become one of the most popular spots at Stanley. read more

This place just opened this week and it's already making a great splash. It's a cute little sushi place with some really tasty rolls and appetizers. The kaarage (fried chicken) is some of the best I ever had, we're going to come back just for that. The specialty rolls are also delicious and unique! My favorite is definitely the Stanley Roll. read more

Great sushi and customer service. My daughters and I visit Misaki at Stanley market and had a great time. This not a typical sushi restaurant set up (no sushi bar) but the food is great, and served timely. The staff is friendly but not intrusive. Something I really appreciated. It was easy to get the check and the server was always paying attention to our table despite being a busy day. Great experience. We'll come back read more

This is a cute little place in the Stanley market place. Sushi was great, but the service was bad. Forgetting out drinks, then soups and never got our appetizer. Only a few tables and small sushi bar for an entire place and don't know why our server keep screwing up so many things. The atmosphere of this place reminds me of Japanese yatai, and love it. I will go back and try to see if I get a better service next time. read more

Surprised. We really like this place and usually have great service. Tonight, 2/10/23, we arrived at 8:00 and stood in line for 10 minutes behind another couple without being acknowledged. There were three tables open, one needed bussing but it was odd not to have a single person greet us or inform us about wait time or table availability. I am hoping this is an unusual moment because we want to come back and enjoy what is usually great food and great service. read more

SoCal Family is beyond happy! Since moving to Stapleton / Denver this summer we have been craving the melt in your mouth fresh fish prepared by superb sushi chefs so readily available in Dana Point. Well tonight we found a brand new Sushi place in The Stanley and it was everything I could hope for! We spent some time speaking with the owner's wife about how she sourced her fish almost daily from Japan and Scotland (which was surprising). To me, I benchmark a sushi place by just a simple piece of tuna - color, texture & taste. It dissolved on my tongue and was heavenly. The rolls were creative and enticed us to try too many, each one fresh and balanced without being drenched in sauces. The owner's wife went in to explain she takes great care to select fish in season and there will be times when they will only have a selection (like Urchin) when it is fresh and sweet. I asked if her chef would make my favorite sashimi dish I always got in Dana.... she said she would give it a try. I will frequent this place, no question. And if you want excellent fresh sushi... well, I'll see you there. This place is fabulous read more

Fresh, authentic, and unpretentious. Try the lunch sashimi special as an intro to this centerpiece at the Stanley.

Location: Inside the Stanley. Easy to get to. Wish there was a little more parking at the Stanley but you can find parking in most cases Decor: Nicely done. The setting is just outside the location in the walk area inside the Stanley. Not much seating unfortunately. Cleanliness: It just opened so it looks really clean. Service: I feel bad. They have a young kid taking orders the day we were up there and he was not ready for this. He messed up a couple of orders. He told me 15 min and it was 37 min. I looked at the receipt time he gave me to when I got my order. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I don't think they intended to be this busy. It seemed to overwhelm them. It was busy at 9 at night. Pricing: $$ out of $$$$ It was average sushi prices. Sushi you know it can become pricey as you ordered different rolls. You can get out cheep if you just don't order a lot. I got there rolls and a drink for $22. For all three of us it was a little over $80 read more

This is a rare find in a unique setting for good sushi from a genuine owner/manager. Robert was very customer service focused, as were the chefs and servers to the point where Robert had a custom-made roll prepared based on my suggestion. This place has really average sushi but great atmosphere . I tried all their special sushi and regular sushi s What's to like : Atmosphere- really god vibe , good music and you get to see everyone . It's really a modern feel which I enjoyed . Service - really fast and the Asian manager was really nice . He took care of us and was very helpful What's mediocre - The food . Honestly , I didn't think it was very authentic at all . Paid extra to try their fatty tuna and king salmon . Both were ok for me . All in all we spent 100 auSD for three people . We didn't order too much because we weren't blown away . Typical spend around 50-60 USD from cheaper places but yeah this place had ok food only so didn't really crave for more . 3 stars for the food . It was not bad at all but service and atmosphere is 5 and yes I wouldn't mind going back again :) read more

Best sushi I've had in Denver so far! It's a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the fish is worth it. The only complaint that I had was that it took forever to get our food the other day when there weren't that many tables during lunch. Today I went for dinner and it was WAY faster which was wonderful. They don't have many tables and do get very busy so keep that in mind if you're coming on weekend evenings read more

This place is fantastic. Spouse & I just wanted good sushi. It's not fancy... which belies the incredible food, service, joy of dining there.
