I wish I could rate this place six stars. The service, the atmosphere, the beautiful building and neighborhood... The delicious fresh food is all just simply glorious. Sometimes Mediterranean food can be way too salty. But these dishes are so flavorful without being too salty at all. From the traditional dishes like hummus and Fattoush, to the sublime such as the unique cheesecake with pickled grapes, we can't wait to come back for breakfast! Please see all my photos for a visual treat!

Excellent service, great food, and a cosy atmosphere! The Brussel Sprouts were absolutely amazing, and I loved the taco spin on the chicken shawarma.

I'm from out of of state and was coming into Brooklyn for the night. Was super easy to make a reservation online. We chose an earlier time because we were going to a show. We ended up being the first ones there since it was early, and before we knew it the place was packed. Our server Josephine was great. I felt bad she was waiting on so many tables and it ended up being super busy, but she was very nice and we weren't overly rushed so it was okay. We loved the drinks we got. We started off with the falafel which was amazing and the pita chips were insane. After watching social media and reading reviews I knew we needed to get the shawarma terracotta. The presentation was great and the flavor was delicious. We also got the meatballs which we liked. For dessert we did the knafeh which seemed a little bland and not as sweet or as much syrup on it as we're used to. The pistachio ice cream was really great though.

Love this spot. Highly recommend the labneh, lamb ribs, and the shrimp. The lamb shawarma was solid but I've had better in the city. Kind of cozy inside. Do wish the tables had more space between them. Staff were great and service was attentive.

The most delicious food and a great spot for breakfast/brunch. Seating outside on the sidewalk (seasonally) or inside. Very cute. Can be a long wait but worth it. I highly recommend the herbed eggs. Fresh and flavorful. They have gluten-free pita, which was a pleasant surprise!

Finally was in the neighbourhood and got a take out from Miriam because I was in a hurry. Apparently I ordered shawarma. But anyway, The food had very good flavor. They definitely know how to cook.

Had brunch here with friends before my flight back home. Thankfully we didn't need to wait for a table. The menu is Israeli/Middle Eastern and I ordered the malawach. The food was good but I wish they had regular bacon on the menu. Coffee was not great. Service was ok. Coincidentally I recently dined at the newer UWS location and I noticed that the prices at the UWS restaurant is slightly higher than the one in Brooklyn.

Finally got around to writing a review on Miriam, which the SO and I frequently dine at or order delivery from. This time around a family member joined us for dinner. We had a great calamari with salad (the Wednesday special), cigars and jerusalem bagel for appetizers...none of which are pictured but assuredly were enjoyed! Our entrees were the beef skewers, chicken shawarma and chicken schnitzel...we all sampled each others dishes and were all thoroughly impressed! Bottom line, the food and service are excellent here!

I came back to Miriam for a friend's birthday brunch and had a great time! They were able to sit out huge party of 13 and were so accommodating the entire time we were there. All the food came out at the same time which was impressive and the food itself was delicious! The brunch vibes were great too. It was very lively and fun making it a great brunch experience.

We made a reservation for 4 people for 8:30 pm on a Friday night. We were seated promptly and found the service from the waitress and bussers to be excellent. The food was delicious. We started off with hummus, Labne and falafels for appetizers, all great for sharing and quite tasty but not too heavy. The hummus was incredible, but our guests said they also had never had better Labne! For dinner, each couple shared the chicken schnitzel _ a very generous portion definitely capable of feeding 2. Two large pieces of schnitzel, a generous portion of Israeli salad, beets and mashed potatoes, and the lemon curd sauce which is a star of the dish. Divine For drinks, two of us had the mint lemonade which was perfectly refreshing and not too sweet. Another had an ipa, and lastly an iced tea which was described as nice and strong, and served with fresh mint The noise level was really reasonable for a Friday night and we could hear each other without needing to strain our ears or yell like at other NYC restaurants

I wish I know this place before. Nice environment, great food, reasonable price with acceptable size of food. I order Chicken Shawarma~ strong recommend! Do want to try the hummus next time. My friend and I have great time. The service is professional. Don't need to worry about waiting time~

My cousins and I had a great experience here for brunch! We were seated right away without a reservation, not rushed at all during our meal. Portions are very big! Food is yummy and prices fair. My only qualm is the coffee isn't bottomless. If I realized I probably would have ordered a latte instead. Otherwise wonderful & will be back!

Do they have high chairs?

They do at the counter.

Do they serve free bread?

I don't think so but some of the dishes do come with pita.

Is there a long wait for Sunday brunch?

I got here around 11:30 and was able to get a table inside for 2 right away. Shortly after we saw a line start to form but they waited maybe 15 to 20 min(I think all with a party bigger than 2). When we left we did see a lot of seating for our door… Read more

We split a bottle of one of the lightly chilled chiantis the Fiasco and it was perfection. We mainly got the winter specials which were the asparagus, smoked eel, duck salad and scallops which were all truly phenomenal. The scallop dish was quite small so not the best for sharing but the rest were all amazing. From the regular menu we got the mushroom toast which was absolutely delicious and great for sharing and the pork chop which is one of the best dishes I have ever had. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and was incredibly juicy. For dessert, we got the creme brûlée which I am also still thinking about and one of the best desserts I have ever had. Tasty cocktails but I do wish they had more options on the menu -- there are only 3 cocktails to order from. Half chicken with scallion ginger sauce was pricey for the portion size with no sides but perfectly cooked and seasoned. Chocolate dessert was also fantastic!

Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I had the waiter choose my dish/wine pairing and he did a great job! I got the pesto with shrimp. The pasta is handmade and the wine is natural from Italy. The pesto is made the day of in the morning. All fresh ingredients. They have indoor seating and then more seating in the back that is the perfect spot. I love the exposed brick wall. This might be my new favorite Italian spot. I will be back soon! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Instead of picking a wine from a menu, you tell your server the flavor and mood of wine you're looking for and they bring out glasses or a bottle for you based on that. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it!
