I calmly explained this, but was still made to repeat that I "understand" -- over and over -- in a way that felt accusatory and frankly demeaning. I understand that small businesses have return policies, and I respected that -- I came with a valid gift receipt and handled the interaction politely. The issue wasn't the policy, it was the way I was treated. I accepted the store credit, but I left the store with a strong impression of how unpleasant the owner's behavior was. This feedback is not about the outcome -- it's about how a customer, especially a new mother, should never be spoken to that way. This stroller was very useful every single day I was visiting Washington DC. I used the stroller to walk two miles from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol building so that my daughter could nap in the stroller. The stroller was also most useful at the Smithsonian. The pricing is fair and I would consider using the service again if I could. I've traveled using my own golf stroller in the past and even that stroller is a burden to carry on an airplane and into cars. The GB pockit one of the best out there for travelling.
