The sizes seem to fit inconsistently from style to style. My main concern is with the returns... they gave me two free gifts when I spent $300+ (a luggage tag and a shoe bag) and if you decide to later return an item but don't have those with you, you can't return it. (You can't even buy the free gifts, or only get store credit.) Maybe it's a brand policy but, wow, how unwelcoming. I didn't buy and return this dress just to steal your free gifts. Maybe tell people that when they receive their unasked for free gifts. I also noticed this part of the policy wasn't mentioned at all on their printed return policy framed and put on their checkout desk.

I had seen some of these high end, designer baby/toddler clothes before..but at *much* lower prices. But where? Ah, of course, the Old Town Warehouse sale. Right. Thank goodness for the teeny tiny clearance section because the "regular" prices here made me feel weak in the knees, and not in a good way. It is a really cute store, and for those moms and dads who are OK with paying one hundred bucks and up for a shirt that his/her child will grow out of in a 3 month span..that's fine. But, I will be sticking to the clearance stuff and the warehouse sales.

So, when a…read morefriend's son turned one last week, I decided to pop into this little store in the new shops of Slater's Lane for a gift. I think little kid's clothes are so cute... it's like dressing up dolls. This place has some really cute but VERY expensive stuff. We're talking about $150 teeny tiny jackets that a kid will grow out of in a few months. I've been in here a few times and right now they're having a 50% off sale on winter clothes. Everytime I come in here there's some obnoxious woman acting like she's the Devil Wears Prada woman, shopping for her offspring but letting the kid run amuck. The lady who runs store is nice enough but not very helpful. Considering how tiny the place is, you'd think she'd notice us standing at the register waiting to check out instead of folding fifty-dollar Italian bibs. That brings me to wonder who these clothes are really for. Like the kids give a crap about designer silk pajamas that they'll probably wet the bed in. I guess it's better off I don't have kids.

They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. It could just be beginner's luck but I found exactly what I was looking for! I bought a mint condition wool peacoat, light fall sweater, and yoga pants for myself. For baby, I scored NIB Sperrys for $12 that are 3 times that price at Nordstrom or J Crew. The store is very well organized- the selection starts on your left with the maternity corner, followed by newborn clothing progressing up to toddler sizes. Head upstairs for big kid sizes and even a "juniors corner" where slimmer moms could easily find something for themselves as well. During my visit this week, Lucy's had plenty of Halloween costumes and even a few Christmas outfits ranging from red and green sleepers to fancy schmancy dresses and suits. I will definitely be checking back for Baby's first Christmas outfit! One drawback is that Lucy's does not have a fitting room or even mirrors around so you'll do better if you have an idea of what size you are in various maternity brands before going over. To me, the low prices and good condition made up for that, as well as the 7 day exchange policy (as long as you leave the store tag on). The staff is friendly and cheerful as well- ask them any questions you have!

I would not recommend Dash's to anyone. My experience has been disorganized, dishonest,…read morediscriminatory, and unprofessional. I was initially sized for a custom tux shirt early June 2024 for my wedding on July 26, 2024. I paid $300 for the shirt. The shirt was not ready until August 8 and the shirt did not fit correctly. I knew there was a chance the shirt wouldn't be ready in time, however, I was told by Dash's that it was possible. I ended up purchasing a shirt from Brooks Brothers for my wedding that fit perfectly without any alterations needed. There was a major issue with the upper button/section of the shirt that you wouldn't expect from a custom shirt. I took the shirt back to Dash's on October 12 and the owner Victor assured me that they would get it fixed. On November 2, I returned to the store after being told the shirt was ready. When I arrived at the store, Victor told me there was a mistake and the shirt wasn't ready. He said they would have to send it back to the manufacturer. I did not hear back from the store until January 8, 2025 - in which I received a text letting me know that the shirt was ready and that they've been trying to get in contact with me. Prior to this, I never received a call or text with an update. Nonetheless, I proceeded to go back to the store to pickup the shirt, only for Victor to tell me it wasn't ready. He told me that there's a piece he was looking for on amazon and other sites that he couldn't find. He went on to ask me to look for that piece as well. Then he alluded to my height as being an issue. Mind you, Victor is an inch taller than me. Not only that, it was a custom shirt. So that's a poor excuse. At this point, I am frustrated because I paid $300 for a custom shirt that wasn't done correctly. Till this day, I have yet to receive the shirt. I've requested a refund and Victor refuses to give me one. His reasoning - "they are a small business." There has been no attempt to make things right by resizing for a shirt, or offering me anything to make up for the mishap. I've attached two pictures showing the issue with the shirt.
