This place is the spot on the weekends for families or friends to get together. I came with some girlfriends after a day of worship and we couldn't dine inside because it was already full, so we decided to get some tables outside. The place isn't really that big spacious inside but people were really trying to eat here. Im glad we did eat outdoors because it was such a beautiful day along with great service and food. We got alot of it too. Everything was so hot and delicious. The price of what we ordered wasn't even that pricey with all that we had. It was a really good lunch. Ordered through Ubereats twice. Excellent Dominican food, tres golpes, baked tilapia, steak and onions, with side vegetables, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, corn in buttery sauce. Each choice enough for two meals. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage in the tres golpes. Packed well and very reasonably priced given the specials they always run. Will definitely order from them again. Have never visited the restaurant so can't comment on that. read more

Its a hit or miss with this place.. i order uber eats so im not there to see and mind you ive ordered from here time and time again trying to give them a chance thinking maybe they had a off day but i dont recommend you order the beef stew because all you'll get is bones and broth barely any meat. definetly not worth the price. you're better off ordering from somewhere else. read more

This is my first time ordering take-out delivery from this restaurant and i will order again and again! The presentation of the food was well kept and they gave large portions even for a regular small lunch special. The chicken was cooked to perfection along with the mofongo with full of flavor I feel like i found a gem and can't wait to try the other items the restaurant offers. It is very authentic and clean non greasy food! it came with a salad and some stew as well it was too good! very warm and fulfilling i enjoyed it and didint even finish yet. If you're in the area i recommend trying it out. I didn't dine in so i can't say much about the service here other than the delivery and preparation was very fast! A+ read more

I order food through Uber Eats and it's like they honestly don't care about the orders going out. This is not the first time I've had this issue. I gave them a chance and waited some time before ordering from there again. How do you send a burnt steak and rice that smells and tastes burnt. I know if I was physically in the restaurant and I had to wait I would've walked right back out because that's just disrespectful. If I could give them a no stars rating I would. Food is a hit or miss. Other than that, in their seasoning of course oregano is one of the main components. I have no problem with oregano, but when you putting the stems which are like thin sticks in the food, its hard for kids to eat. My 6yr old choked on a two inch oregano stick. These stems are tough, they dont dissolve, not sure why the add em and not just use ground oregano. read more

A decent restaurant that is fairly reliable with mid-range prices. 1. Food is tasty. The flavors burst. My fav Hispanic dish is the pernil con arroz y habichuelas (pork shoulder with rice and beans). 2. They speak Spanish mostly but understand English so there's a minimal language barrier. I don't speak Spanish well enough to hold a convo or even order in Spanish but they understand me well enough. 3. Service is quick and fast. 4. The ambiance for dine-in is chill and homely but the workers are zipping back and forth. It's a bit anxious looking. 5. The food is laid out on a hot section. There's a menu above and a brochure too. I heard reviews about there food lacking seasoning, but honestly I found that the baked chicken was seasoned well enough there was flavor to it. The rice was a little hard and grainy, I thought because I came early that wouldn't be the case but it was still. Overall I enjoyed my meal. The customer service was good also. read more

This is a small restaurant in the Kingsbridge area of the Bronx. It is close to the Bx9,BX 22, BX 32, Bx3 and No#4 train. The restaurant is narrow with the seating on the right side and the hot food behind the counter on the left. I believe it is under new management because it looks like the prices(although still low) have changed. They sell great Dominican Food that is well seasoned. I don't believe this is a franchise but more of Mom and Pop type of restaurant. I enjoy coming here I often get, rice, beans, and chicken or Sancho, or beef stew with rice and peas. I have gotten the combos that are offered for my family, and I try to ask for some of the homemade garlic sauce.and I will say if taking the food to go, and it is cold upon arrival warm it up in the oven with a little water and the garlic sauce... it will really good! read more

The portions are huge. The prices are low. The seasoning and flavors of the dishes are on point! But the textures...dry, overcooked, or hardened, possibly from sitting out too long. I've ordered large combos here on several occasions, always to go. Meats were always dreadfully dry. The chicken has so much potential! It tastes amazing, but it feels like you're trying to chew through a course sponge. Rice, both white and Spanish versions are on the hard side, as if they've been sitting out too long and lost moisture. i LOVE this place. Came here on a rainy Friday night with a date. My date was Dominican and we were looking for some good food that tasted like her family made it...and it was a perfect pick.
