Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business with him. I would not recommend buying a battery from this guy or having him install it. When the battery failed after only three months, it should have been replaced for free under warranty. However, because Scotty purchased it under his account, Advance Auto wouldn't replace it for me. Even though I had already removed the bad battery myself, he still tried to charge me $122 just to install the replacement. They lied about looking at it on day one, then gave it back "no charge" the next day because they found nothing wrong. The boot is torn in half with grease all over. Last year they did the same thing. I had a cooling issue and they sent me home "no charge" with a new radiator cap, it turns out to be a blown head gasket.
