Shopping at Costco is always really good and economic. Never had problems with customer service unfortunately today wasn't that. The grocery shopping and customer service was good until it was time to order a pizza. The guy that was making the pizza didn't have good customer service. For reason he kept skipping me for my order kept serving other people that were after me. As I tried to be nice asking him if he knew how much time he had a rude attitude and answer. Unfortunately he didn't have a name tag but he was African American and making the pizzas. read more

Been a member here for years. Love the fuel prices and do most of our grocery shopping and big appliance shopping here. Tried their pharmacy services for the first time. Again prices were better than most, pharmacist was good but the tech was horrible. She seemed bothered with her duties impatient with other customers and rather unpleasant overall. Maybe she was having a bad day. If I had the authority to send her home for the day, she would have been excused from the counter read more

Cleanest and friendliest Costco I have been too. The prices are great, just like every Costco, but the great part about this particular location is how seemingly quiet it is. The staff is very attentive, almost to a fault, which makes the whole buying experience that much better. So I have been twice and YET to have: - more than one person in front of me to order food - more than two people in front of me to check out - wait in any sort of line for samples The only downsides to this location are: - the parking lot is separate from the target shopping center so you have to go around if happen to be shopping at Marshalls etc... - they don't seem to give boxes to put you stuff in when you check out like every other location I have been to does. In all it is well worth the $55.00 membership fee. read more

This review is for the tire shop Last week while on route from Chicago to Travers City MI, about a 6 hour trip, we discovered a huge gash in the sidewall of one of our Bridgestone DriveGuard tires, about halfway through the trip. These are run-flat tires designed to be driven up to 50 miles with no air at all. As a result, cars fitted with these tires are not outfitted with spares, nor do they contain spare tire compartments. The problem is, this modal tire is not usually readily available at most tire shops. Because the tires were purchased from Costco, we phoned the nearest Costco warehouse about 42 miles away, in Granger. The technician, Spencer, who may have been the shop's manager, informed us the tires were not in stock, but offered to phone nearby tire shops to locate one. Mind you, the shops he called were not Costco shops- they were independent. About 20 minutes later, Spencer phoned back to inform us they had located and purchased a tire from one such store. The gash in the tire was quite severe so we decided to have it towed by Dustin from Grand Beach Towing (review to follow). The tire was subsequently mounted, and we were on our way. Best yet, because of Costco's Roadside Hazard warranty the tire's cost was about 23% of its full price. I really appreciate the good and hard work Spencer put in to secure a new tire for us. I doubly appreciate Costco's Hazard Warranty. They really are the best. read more

Today 10/7 @3:30 pm a big 50 year old could tell that he hated his job and not want to work @all and should be fired for his attitude! My register wasn't accepting my Costco card and not letting me scan my items and 5 of the people were just standing for 5 minutes to notice the light was flashing and I had my kids with me so my hands were full! And then he began with attitude from the start saying it's because you scanned that you can scan items and had repeat twice to see it didn't work like I said! Then he yelled at my child which was unnecessary because he barely leaned on the bag and told my son what to do twice which was rude. He was very unpleasant, unhappy worker for Costco and should be terminated for his behavior of being extremely rude and yelling @customers the way he treats them & children giving them dirty looks, wish I caught his name was in hurry and busy in there. But doesn't need to act like that around customer period! Like yelling @me when it was the register not letting me scan, making have to do his job which he did not want to do. Fire him, he's awful for the company! Thumbs down you can do better then this guy Costco ! read more

Costco has too many "Kirkland" brand (i.e. Generic) and not enough of the name brands I know. The prices are competitive with Sam's Club, but not any better. At least Sam's Club gives membership cards to my kids with my membership. Costco won't, and I can't send my son here to use my card, they won't allow that either. I have memberships at both places, but am finding the only thing Costco does better is having a gas station - and that isn't even open all the time. read more

My wife and I have been members of the "Other" place for many years and just loved it. We decided to give Costco a try, but didn't see enough to make us switch. Then after Sam's cut some of our favorites, we decided to sign up and actually give Costco one year. Well, it's now been a year, and we have saved so much money and have built up over $300 in free credit, which by far covers our yearly fee for Costco. The other day, we bought an "ALL in One" printer for only $65, and it works great. We also love going here for lunch and get one of their huge and delicious hot dogs on a bun and a limitless soft drink, both for $1.50. You can get a break on new cars, savings of up to $.40 per gallon on gas, and so much more. Everyone is super friendly and cashing out at the registers is so smooth and quick. Also, if something is not satisfactory, just bring it back for a full, no contest refund with a smile. We also buy gift cards here. Usually, you can buy around $100 worth of gift cards for about $80. I love it! There are so many varieties here and yet they don't have everything. Still, there are options, and most everything amounts to a savings. Meat is more expensive, but I know that it's all top-quality. If you want one of their barbecue chickens for $5, they are excellent, and I know that you couldn't cook it yourself for less than around $8. I could go on, but the message here is to just try it and give it a chance. Don't be one of these people who drive in the gas station the wrong way and get told to back out, so they don't come back and then go home and give them a bad review, without even going inside the store. read more

LOVE IT! Clean, organized, and everyone is friendly- steaks are the best quality and the ready to eat chicken is always hot, moist and delicious! The samples are always tasty and the cakes are to die for- the birthday cakes have a level of custard thru out it and was a pleasant surprise. We also get gas there and save .10 to .20 a gallon every time. read more

This was one of the best shopping experiences of my life! These two dudes who won't be named kept telling me that they knew me, but I didn't remember them. They were like "yo we know this guy right?" and offered me some extremely MOIST muffin samples. Absolutely nobody has better samples than this Costco had. They kept feeding me those moist samples, all different flavors. I went in looking for some good meat, and left with some good eats. 5 Stars. read more

Husband just returned home from Costco gas station. This review is based on his experience there. It was his first and LAST trip there. He pulled up to the pump, which was open and was told by the attendant that he had to leave because he pulled up from the wrong way. Now I have been there before and understand you "go with the flow" but this being my husband's first time there and seeing an open pump he went for it. So...my point to the 2 star review is... What has happened to common courtesy? Why did the attendant have to be so rude? My husband will continue to frequent Sams Club. You can get gas anywhere but kindness and common courtesy does not seem to be something that Costco builds its reputation on. read more

I walked in and the woman at the door was smiling and happy. I explained I did not have a membership yet and she directed me to the counter. They explained the memberships and answered all my questions. I walked around the entire store with out a membership and was asked 5 times if I needed help. After walking around for an hour I got the membership. It has been well worth what I paid. I have not been disappointed! read more
