It's still a great ride on these Magestic animals, couldn't be too disappointed because I truly wanted to jus ride. It's been so long, since I was a teen since I've been on a horse and my heart needed this. I've always wanted a stable full of horses, hey, a girl can dream. I'm so mad bc I cannot remember our trail guide but she has been working there only for eight months as of 4/18/26. She was the best and easy to talk too. We loved all the horses! I got to ride Ranger and he was so hungry during our trail ride. Had me thinking, do thy feed them lol but I just let him do his thing and she did as well. We all just let the horses eat and chill too while taking the trail ride. We wanted them to enjoy themselves too! My man rode Mega and he's huge! Also, he's their youngest horse and I cannot remember the name of the other horse but I did ask their ages. Many horses live around forty years and Mega was seven, Ranger was 15 and the horse guiding us was 20. It was such a nice day to ride. Don't come here having to use the bathroom lol. My one complaint about the trail is their lack of cleaning it! There was a toilet that has been there on the trail a while, I'm not sure if someone dumped some fish eggs on the trail, there was a little patch that they need to clean asap! They're probably just use to it and might not notice but there and lots of flies over it and I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want to take pride in the trail. I'm hoping this review will help them get there. There are so many things to make this experience even more beautiful and memorable. Thanks for the ride!

I went with my partner (both our first time) and experienced a awesome instructor teach us the basics, give us opportunity to train more or get into the ride and talked about the horses, local area, and different offerings. 10/10 recommend if you haven't ever gone or want to go back. Don't forget to tip!

The first ride was a 2-hour sunset ride with my sister and niece, and the second was the 4-hour Wranger Special all by myself, only 3 weeks later, because this place is just that fun! All ranches that offer horseback riding are not equal. I have been to a couple ranches where they simply run it like a machine with little to no respect, having horses ride constantly throughout the day with little rest. Knob Hill Ranch takes a different approach, and after sitting with Madeline and Michael for a length of time after my 2nd ride, I learned that Knob Hill is on a different level than most ranches you'll encounter. Horses at Knob Hill are treated with such compassion and care. A horse only rides once a day, and that alone was enough for me to know I can trust the way this ranch is ran. They have a deep respect, for not only the horses, but the land as well, and you will feel it as soon as you get there. There is something sacred under the lands surface, and it feels as though the ranch is operating in such a beautiful way, because they're mirroring the sacred beauty and elegance that lies beneath the soil. Oh, and it's worth mentioning, they host equine therapy on their land as well, along with sound baths for folks. I mean, this ranch is dabbling into all things that revolve around healing and cultivating a calm and peaceful environment. Once you experience it, how could you not want to go back?! And for me, it's a 6 hour drive each way, totally worth it. After reading this novel of a review, it is clear this ranch is operating with a deep heart-centered intention, so they're not surface level folks running a machine to make money. And, if you're tired of surface level conversations about sports and weather, like myself, these are the folks you can dive deep into conversation with about life, and leave the surface level topics behind. They're providing an area on Earth for us to connect not only with horses and nature, but ourselves. Much gratitude toward Michael and Madeline!

If you want a fun wedding, go with CRC Ranch. My family could not stop raving about how fun the…read morewedding was. It is a very convenient place to have a wedding as the ceremony site (lawn) is next to where the reception site is at (the barn). I had 225 people and we fit well. It was super convenient that there are air bnb houses on site. They are extremely flexible and allowed me to have two food trucks, a cigar lounge, a 360-video booth, a regular photo booth, and I was able to have my bridal party pass out beer during the ceremony. I also love that the venue provided lawn games such as corn hole, horseshoe toss, and had a fire pit for the people outside. Tracey is the venue coordinator and she was great. If I had any questions, she always responded quickly. I know there are some crazy ass bridezillas out there, yet she will still try her best to make you happy. If you didn't like Tracey, then you must be one of those ridiculous bridezillas because she was great to me. I had one of my vendors not show up at the time they said they would. Tracey noticed and immediately called them, so I didn't have to worry. The owner is Nick, and to book the air bnbs you have to message Nick. He is hard to get hold of, but if you can't, Tracey will be sure to get a hold of him. Tobi is the assistant venue coordinator and she was super sweet. The bar tenders that work for CRC Ranch were super friendly and awesome. The only cons is there are some dirt areas since it is a ranch, so be mindful when booking during the rainy seasons. I had my wedding 5/15/26 so it was sunny and perfect.

Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to communicate with the coordinator Tracey and set up an appointment, we were completely ghosted with little to no follow-up. Planning a wedding is already stressful, and communication is one of the most important parts of the process. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness ultimately led us to decide not to move forward with this venue. It's disappointing because the property appeared to have potential, but reliable communication and professionalism matter just as much as the venue itself. Hopefully future couples have a better experience. Didn't want to even give it a 1 star rating but had to in order to leave a review.

Our tour guide Mark couldn't have been more kind, patient and helpful. He made excellent choices matching our group to their appropriate horse for riding. Based on our weight and height our horses were Chili, Boogie, and Izzy! Such sweet babies they were. Chili loved to snack on the vines, but was easily redirected to get back on track. If you're too nervous to take photos while on the trail, DON'T WORRY because MARK is sweet enough to do that for you! If you love wine, highly recommend to purchase the package with the wine tasting (to be enjoyed after your ride) because the wine from DANZA SOL WINERY was THE BEST WINE I had all weekend. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful ranch!

The horseback tour is amazing. You arrive get your paperwork situated and they match you with your horse based off height. All the horses are just so kind. Our tour guy Mark was amazing, talked to us about the venue, the grapevine, took pictures throughout the tour and sent us all the pictures he took as well. Felt safe while riding with our tour guide. The horses do like to sneak in a few pecks off the vines and some more than others...lol but it's manageable. It doesnt look like your high up, but once you saddle up you realize the height, but the more you ride the more comfortable you get on your horse. I loved it. The weather was amazing. All the staff were friendly and professional. Had an over all great ride. We were celebrating my sister birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience and time with our horses and Mark our tour guy. The ride is pretty lengthy but its nice and you get what you pay for. Make sure to bring pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. After your ride you can give the horses some cookies, which they love and look forward to it. I enjoyed that part as well. There's only a port-a-potty on sight that I saw. So technically there is a restroom on sight, but we all know how stinky those are. So go before you arrive or the winery next door has restrooms that are much more ample. Definitely worth every penny. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy and good time riding as well as some good wine afterwards.
