We didn't ask for any sort of private tour but that's how it worked out for us. As a horseback tour guide myself, I love a real horsewoman like TJ . She got us all sorted and matched to our horses just as I would've myself and kept the riding tips short, sweet, and funny for my intermediate-experienced friends. (Horse girls are sometimes framed as overbearing and have a tendency to pack an attitude) - but not these instructors. Our guide was Jeff, a real cowboy this guy. Jeff was top tier entertainment and we thank him for taking all the girly photo requests! The horses were all beautiful, loved, and responded so well to our experience levels. This was my first time ever paying for a horseback riding tour and I think I was very lucky to have ended up at Saddle Up with Tj & Jeff. Thank you guys so much and we will be back! *photo below of jeff's photo skills & the beefy cute mustang they paired me with

I took lessons at a few other places and couldn't seem to find the right person with the right amount of patience for me (yes I'm that difficult) . I finally got in touch with Amy over at Hanover saddle club and she was able to get me started right away even with my difficult schedule. She was so patient with me, and her love and knowledge about horses was far beyond anything I ever knew. First lesson she let me ride cute little domino (princess pony). It was perfect because I was still not comfortable getting on the big horses - still afraid of falling off. Domino was just the right size for me and she is just so adorable. Now that I have become more comfortable with this horsey stuff I bring my daughter and husband with me for lessons and we all go out on the trails and it is absolutely beautiful with the sunset! Now my 9 year old is riding domino, and my husband loves slack. Currently I'm riding jazz- he is a must ride horse! When you visit please tell Amy I sent you to ride jazz you will love him!!!! Thank you Amy for all your patience I am so happy to have found Hanover!!!

I grew up with horses and knew I wanted my daughter to experience that same environment I did as a child. I wasn't sure if she would like it but she ended up LOVING every moment of it. The ladies there are so kind and patient. I can't wait to take my daughter back next week. She is counting the hours to her next lesson. Hanover is the best place to get lessons for riding! Thank you Hanover Saddle Club! See you next week!!

This one is for Cameron!…read more On Friday September 30, my friends and I took this tour to celebrate my bachelorette. We have never been to the Valle before, and after hearing all the violence that occurred during the weekend of Baja Beach, we were a little nervous to cross, but it was amazing! Cameron was great, he kept our group engaged and made us all feel safe! We were a private tour and he picked us up from our Air b&b, we headed straight across the border and drove ocean side to our first stop... tacos! Cant go to mexico without stopping to enjoy some street tacos. Next stop, Finca La Carodilla. The winery was beautiful, however, we did not love the wine... we still had a great time enjoying the scenery. Next stop, Xalos. While this wasn't on the agenda, Cameron and Ryan created this detour option for us after Adobe winery was unable to host us. Here we enjoyed a fancy cocktail and some delicious churros. Again, beautiful scenery! Third stop, Monte Xanic. This was by far our favorite winery for the day. There are beautiful hills, and a small (possibly man made) lake on site... the wine was excellent, we bought four wine bottles. Lastly dinner, wow... The scenery, yet again! The tables were set up with a picnic cloth under string lights. We arrived for dinner around sunset, and we watched the beautiful sunset colors painted in the sky between the hills. Our food was delicious, and they did offer drinks at this final stop, which we did pay for separately. Lastly, our trip was over and we were headed home. Half our group had global entry, which was nice since they did not have to step out on the drive back from the border. My friends and I are all from Mexico, however, none of us had visited this region before. Its so nice to see how Mexico is becoming more known for their wine and aesthetics... Definitely bring cash, comfortable shoes and an empty stomach as there is plenty of food throughout this experience. Everything was great, and our group enjoyed Camerons company and the knowledge he shared with us on baja california and the up and coming Ruadeseo company.

They were warm and smart and great conversationalists, which helps me immensely while stuck in the car. They took us thru Valle de Guadalupe and we got to see much of the coast on the way to our lunch taco stop. Vegan options were included so I was thrilled. We ate to our heart's content and then we made way to our first winery. It was spacious, peaceful, and extremely clean. Next we went to the second winery, our favorite of the trip and we were able to try not just the wine but some snacks made from the food grown on the property. And lastly we stopped at a small cute winery for more food to soak up the booze a bit. They fed us SO much, and then had wine and agua frescos for us to enjoy as well. Each place was slightly different and so for that I'm super grateful. They are truly some of the most genuine people you will meet. We are already planning a trip to go back with hem again. Thanks so much!

They have 3 wineries included in the tour which includes tastings at all of them. Our 1st stop was at Danza del Sol because they're the earliest that opens in the valley at 10:30am. Known for their whites, the Estate Sauvignon Blanc was my favorite there. They gave us a production tour before heading off to the next winery. Oak Mountain was everyone's least favorite. Sure, the cave tour was interesting, their charcuterie board was pleasant to the eyes and palate, though sadly, their wines were horrible. Lunch is not included in the package so I was able to choose where to go - Bolero at Europa Village. Reservations were made in advance, thanks, Joseph and he dropped us off there giving us about 1.5 hours before picking us up to continue with our tour next door. Our last stop for the day turned out to be my number one out of all the 3 wineries. Callaway has beautiful grounds, they have a more high end vibe, and the wines were better in quality relatively speaking. I enjoyed their 2019 Winemaker's Reserve Chardonnay, 2018 Wild Yeast Viognier, 2018 Wild Yeast Petite Sirah, and 2018 Wild Yeast Cab Sauv. I only wish we stayed outdoors to soak in the weather and scenery but the tasting was indoors so we hung out at the bar inside. We spent about an hour at each winery and by 3:30pm, we were ready to head back to OC. Joseph was a great guide all in all. While driving, he would tell us bits of interesting information about the wineries, stables, etc. we'd see along the way - very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Everyone had a grand time!
