From all the pictures and videos I had seen, I was really excited to experience Miracle Bar. Reservations: There are no reservations for this bar. It's first come, first serve. We went on a Thursday evening around 7:00PM. They had a stand outside with a person taking people's name so it wasn't necessary to physically stand in line, which I appreciated. You should stand close by though so you can hear when your name is called. We waited about 30ish minutes. Parking: Getting here was a little confusing as the address takes you to the Trader Joe's shopping center. Don't turn into that center; continue driving behind that and you'll find another shopping center with ample free parking. Food: We didn't order any food, but they do have a limited food menu, with the kitchen closing at 10:00PM I believe. I think it's mostly just apps, and there is a dessert/cookies plate available too. Our neighbors ordered that and shared with us. Drinks: Of course they have holiday inspired drinks! I got Santa's Little Helper and my friend got the T-Rex drink. My drink was okay, but I preferred my friend's drink - so that's what I would recommend. We also got to try the nice shot, and it went down pretty smoothly! Vibe: When I think holiday bar, this hits the mark on all accounts. The music, the decor, the vibe. I honestly was so happy just sipping on my drink and swaying to the music. The only thing is that the music is so loud that I felt like I was shouting at my friend (who was sitting across from me) just to be heard and that got to be exhausting. Worth the wait! We arrived around 8pm on Saturday night and the wait was a bit over an hour to get a table. The staff worked together to get us waters and menus until our server was able to take our order. There is also a bit of a wait for drinks to arrive to our table but during this time you get to enjoy all the amazing decor! Our group all got different drinks, and everything we tried was delicious. My drinks were Grandma Got Ran Over by a T-Rex and Elfing around. I would be content drinking these year-round! The Frosty Fries were mine and the Parmesan was extra delicious. The Holiday Spiced Chai was so popular it was sold out by the time we got our table. The Christmas Cricket was our husband's favorite and it sold out before they could re-order. A friend and I came to Miracle on a Sunday afternoon right when it opened and there were already people waiting in line! When they open, they escort each party to their seats to maximize space. We were seated in the first batch of those waiting in line and we waited around 35-40 mins before being seated. We were sat at the very last seats at the bar right where bartenders garnish drinks and everything so there wasn't a lot of room and we just felt on top of them. We were close to the entry door which was not great since the door was left open but luckily the manager saw we put on our jackets and closed the door! They were all so nice! The only reason this place gets a 4 is because it took us close to 2 hours just to get a spot at the bar. Mind you we did go at a peak time, but still wow. However, once you're inside the lights are beautiful and the drinks are even better. Do I think it's worth a 2 hour wait? Probably not, maybe an hour but always down to try a Christmas bar. I came to Miracle Bar on a Saturday night around 9 and the line was pretty long but moved quickly. Unfortunately we had a party of 5, so it took a lot longer to seat us than expected (we waited almost 2 hours). I would definitely recommend going with a smaller party as they have more tables to accommodate smaller groups. Once inside however, it was absolutely everything that was advertised! We were seated at the bar which was still a great spot to enjoy the atmosphere and all the amazing lights. We tried several drinks (they are a little pricey FYI): the Christmaspolitan (fresh spin on a Cosmo), Jolly Koala (delicious and comes with a cute koala clip you can keep!), Elfing Around (delicious mulled wine flavor), and Christmas Carol Barrel (YUM and comes in a cute mug). We also tried the Christmas T-Rex drink but were not fans of the melon flavor. My friend told me about this place and I HAD to stop by! I found this Christmas themed bar absolutely adorable with all the lights and Christmas decor. Super fun photo ops at every angle! This place was definitely full of holiday spirit as you could see people having a good time dressed in their best holiday attire. I personally love Christmas music and loved how they played some classics along with some interesting remixes. The Christmas themed drinks were very creative and incredibly tasty as well. Albeit pricy ($14-$16)... we only ordered some bread with brie which was also super good and we finished every last bite of it. As much as I enjoyed the food and drink, I'm not sure if I would pay those prices again. But it's all part of the experience! My only warning is that you should be ready to wait at least 2 hours to get into the bar on weekends. Went to this Christmas pop up bar last week and we had a blast! Once you walk in it looks like Christmas threw up with lights , hanging presents, and multi colored lights everywhere! We sat at the bar and both of the bartenders checked on us a couple of times to make sure we were good on drinks and food. The music was blasting but, you could still hear everyone talk. Popular Christmas songs were playing in the background. I had coworkers in town visiting and this was the perfect place to take them. We ordered one round of drinks the Christmapolitan, the SanTaRex, and Elfing Around. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The Christmapolitan was a nice play on a cosmo. We had the best time at miracle bar few years ago, pre-pandemic. My boyfriend and I decided to return to celebrate some recent career accomplishments, and to kick off the holiday season! We arrived at 9 PM and there was a huge line ahead of us. We waited for over an hour to finally have a seat at the bar. Once inside, it was definitely a magical experience! The bar was packed, my friend and I just stood closer to where photos where taken and the bathroom (technically a plus since it was crowded) the server was very helpful and gave us free Christmas cookies which were really great. I had a friend in town and brought him to this holiday bar so we could catch up. There's usually a line and a wait so I recommend getting there early. FOOD: The menu only consisted of drinks and snacks. There were no major food options so I recommend you eat before coming. The drinks were really good though. I think the cheapest one was $14. SERVICE: Our waiter visited our table often, gave us water, and answered all of our questions. The door host was fun during our wait. They were dancing to holiday music and keeping us engaged as we waited for them to prepare the table. ATMOSPHERE/COVID: The venue has lights top to bottom. There are upside down Christmas trees hanging from the ceiling and holiday decor all over the place. They also have a photo booth in the corner so make sure to check it out. The holiday music indoors is a little loud and can make it hard to have a meaningful conversation, but that's my only negative. You'll need a proof of vaccination to get in. Don't bother arguing because they will not let you in. I watched them turn away an entire family without them. A picture of one works as well. PARKING: There's a huge parking lot that's apart of a shopping strip. They have 2 free hours of parking which we didn't even use during our time, but even after that it was only like $5. Came here during Christmas (of course). The decorations are amazing, definitely a place where you will get tons of greeat photos. The drinks come in adorable cups and are definitely celebrating the holiday spirit. There was a wait when we got there, because they are pretty strict on seating everyone and limiting the standing room. I went with a large group and we wwere able to cram in a corner. The drinks are expensive, no surprise. The egg nog drink was by far the best, and the others were eh. I didn't like the old fashioned, but that's not my taste anyways. I met up with a friend on a Wednesday night around 10pm thinking it would be a slower night and the place was still poppin'! This bar is located in the Midtown Promenade shopping center on the side by the movie theater. Free and easy parking! There was a short line to get in. For reference, we waited about 10-15 minutes as a party of 2 and there were maybe 4 parties in front of us. I love that they are still taking COVID precautions seriously. There is someone at the head of the line monitoring capacity and checking vaccine cards and ID's. You MUST have proof of vaccination to enter or a negative test (within 48(?) or 72(?) hours, I'm not exactly sure). We did have a Karen try to make a fuss about both waiting in the line and the vaccine check and she was quickly shut down by both the establishment and the rest of the line, lol. There is a heater near the line so it is not too cold, but I would still dress warmly and be prepared to wait. My friend and I were seated at a small bar section along the back wall, but you have a great view of decor from any seat. I have been to a few Christmas pop-up bars this year, and I would say this one is definitely the most festive, both in decor and spirit! They blast Christmas carols and there was even a conga line going at one point. I will say it is a little loud to have conversation. The cocktails are all $14 and come in themed glassware, and are absolutely delicious! I had the On Dasher and the Christmas Carol Barrel and my friend had the Christmapolitan and the Elfing Around. It is totally worth the wait, people!!!! I didn't make it to Miracle last year so this year on my birthday (last Thursday) I decided I had to go. We were standing in line by 4:50. Luckily we made it in to a table in the first round! The doors opened at 5 and we were escorted by super friendly staff dressed in festive attire. The magical lights, the Christmas carols playing throughout, tables wrapped in frasier trees and candy canes, it's hard not to catch the spirit!! We snagged a cozy corner perfect for the 4 in our party. We started with nice and naughty shots and some tasty Chex mix. The drink names were pretty hilarious and the servers will sing them to you and show each drink name the enthusiasm it deserves. Drinks we tried included Christmapolitan, Fa la la la la, La la la la, Yippee Ki Yay MFer, and the Egg Nog. Yes, you want to try them all. We also nommed on some cheese and charcuterie - not amazing but not bad. Lots of goat cheese which I am a fan of but still - just not a great variety. No matter what you do - even if the bouncer tells you that you're able to get out of line and walk around - STAY IN LINE. We originally got there around 7 PM on a Thursday. The line made it around the corner of the bar. I tried to go write down our name, but the bouncer said he would come around. The line kept moving forward because people were getting out of line as they were told that they could come back in two hours. We were told our wait time would also be two hours. So I stood in line, while my sister and friend decided to go get finger food upstairs at another bar, while we waited in line. Next thing you know, the bouncer tells me that if my whole party is in line, they can get us in now. Only 45 minutes had passed. So my sister and friend were quickly trying to get the food so that we could sit down. The owner came out and said if my party isn't outside of the bar in 3 min he'd give up our table. So after being told it would be a 2 hour wait, we suddenly were told we could lose our table after 45 minutes. It didn't make sense to me! But we got lucky- the food came out and my sister had to run to our car to put it in the trunk so that she could make it in the bar (they don't allow outside food). It was very stressful but we made it in. Once in, the experience was fun. The decorations were great. Music was a little loud so it made it hard to have conversation. We all loved our drinks - they were pretty strong, too! The Brie cheese and empanadas were delicious as well. Heads up, they don't allow split checks so just make sure you know how you're going to coordinate that with your party. My only complaint about this place is that it is such a desirable experience to be had by many! The wait times are incredibly long, don't think just because you plan to go on a Wednesday you'll walk right in because you'll still be put in a wait list of three hours or more if you're not in line at least an hour or two before they even open! The hostess was taking about how they have seven hour waits on the weekends and some people won't even make it in. I have never heard of such a thing! This place is truly an experience that if it wasn't for the wait, I would go to again in the short time they are open. The music is Christmas themed and remixed with hip hop beats, and every inch of the place is decked out in Christmas wallpaper, lights, and decorations that hang from the ceiling. The glassware is unique and cute but I won't spoil it for newcomers :) I ordered the lamb lollipops (aka reindeer treats) 4/5, and the cheeseboard plate 4/5 ( only because I had to ask for extra toast twice - it was a lot of cheese- and because there isn't an option to get a board with meat AND cheese, or to make your own. What a miracle! I am not the most festive person when it comes to the holidays. I will be honest. The best part is being with family. I am not necessarily into all the Christmas music and decorations. So why even go to Miracle then, right? Well, it's a special event that I have read about for years, and friends really wanted to go. Miracle is a pop-up event that takes place across the country. In Atlanta, it takes place at Tapa Tapa in Midtown Promenade complex. A second location is also in Buckhead at The Shops Buckhead (first time this year). So..this is how it works. Do not expect to just show up and get on the list. People get there hours in advance to get their name on the waiting list. They will tell you expected time and will text you when your table is ready. At some point, the waiting list is so long that they just stop taking names. I arrived around 6:45pm and they had already stopped taking names as it was a 5-hour wait. The hostess was telling folks to come back in 30 minutes and they would reopen the list. They do not let people just wait at the bar until their reservation comes open. If they did, it would be super packed. So I am appreciative of that. The place was busy, but not OVERcrowded. You had space to move around. The decorations were amazing. Mostly Christmas, but there was a Hanukkah corner. Great Christmas music - people were singing and dancing. Festive drinks and yummy food options. The potatoes were the BEST! Very nice aioli to go with. Wrapped dates were OK - you get three. Meatballs were OK - you only get two of them. The cheese plate is HUGE. And I loved the herbed goat cheese. They don't give you enough bread, though. So we had to ask for a couple other orders - 50 cents for each order. Skip the cookie plate - store bought. We wandered in here on opening night after seeing Arrival next door at the theater (go see it, great movie). From the outside we could barely tell it was open as the windows had so much white fake snow covering them. Glad our curiosity got the better of us. When we walked in the first thing that you'll notice is that Christmas exploded all over this place. You won't notice it used to be a tapas restaurant. Tinsel, gifts, Christmas lights, presents, everything you can think of, but it's not tacky. It has a great glow that really captures the spirit of the holidays. Somehow it reminds me of Home Alone. They have a cocktail list of about a dozen drinks, a half dozen draft beers, and some wines. They also have tapas items likely taken from the Tapa Tapa menu. I had the Yippy Ki Yay (rum drink over shaved ice) and it was really tasty. Next I had the Muletide which was pretty good as well. A lot of their drinks are on the sweet side. My wife had the Christmas Old Fashioned and the Christmapolitan. Both good as well. These bartenders know what they're doing. They also have a cookie hour where they pass out free cookies! Ho Ho Ho!!! Now Go-Go-Go. A pop-up that should stay up all year long. This holly jolly *twinkling lights *presents hanging from the ceiling *Christmas Bar completely made my night. As you walk toward the midtown arts cinema, turn right and enter the frosted doors and if you're like me, you will feel 10 years old again. The faux fireplace is projected along the wall behind the bar, holiday lights surround you, chair backs are dressed with red covers, the lights are dim and lucky you may snag a cozy booth in the back. Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas movie is playing on the large television and it's hard to look away. There are bows and decorations everywhere including the bathrooms. Why not? Private time should also bring you cheer. Cocktails are $12 each, and I say Yippie Ki Yay MF. My Bad Santa (drink) also made for a happy hour but only order if you like warm and sweet drinks. The food was better than expected: Santa Got Strong (the creamy coconut sauce bathing the mussels was drinkable), Holiday Greens (Brussel sprouts and chorizo), and 'Be my Christmas Date'. We went here last night and it was AMAZING! We arrived 45min before they opened and were the 5th party in line. You MUST come early if you want a chance of getting in without a wait. By the time the place opened the line was extremely long and there was already a two-hour wait for people who were towards the back of the line. When you walk in, the restaurant is so beautifully and extravagantly decked out in Christmas gloriousness! It's like a North Pole fantasy land for adults and you will love it. We tried 5 of the specialty holiday cocktails and they were awesome! I especially enjoyed the Christmapolitan and the Brazen Blitzen. We also had three small plates. The X-Mas Shrimp and Shroomin Around The Christmas Tree were so flavorful and yummy. The Lamb small plate was good as well, but I actually loved the veggies that came with it a little more. Being Atlanta's first Christmas pop-up bar, you will definitely want to enjoy this experience before it is gone. We had great conversations with other people there, and the vibe is exactly what you need to really get ready for Christmas. We enjoyed it very much! read more

I love the Christmas façade as you enter the building and even more so when you walk in! I mean, top to bottom lights, ornaments, wrapping paper and ole' creepy St. Nicks everywhere. The drinks and food however I was truly disappointed with. Food menu was mediocre at best, some frozen calamari, French fries Almost every singe bevvy had egg in it. Tried the majority of them still and they were all so sweet like a dessert. It's almost like a bait and trap here but opposite; wait 5 hours to get in, have 1 terrible $12 drink and immediately want to leave and find somewhere to have a proper drink and meal. This is a great place for the young 20 somethings who still think Malibu and pineapple is a fancy mixed drink. read more

Fun concept, definitely worth one visit for the wow-awe factor and instagrammable everything.... but the queue to get in is crazy (even 90 mins before posted opening time), and if they have a private group during the daytime hours while closed to the public, you'll have to wait until they choose to leave. Cutesy Christmas-themed pop-up that takes over Tapa Tapa in the evenings. The wait is brutal (and no, you can't wait at the bar) but worth it if you're coming for ambiance and not dinner. I really enjoyed the Eggnog drink (though portion was really small). Try to make it by before this pop up ends if you can! read more
