This business was part of a group of quotes I had requested to do my garage flooring. As with other businesses that came by my place to inspect the flooring and then offer me a quote, Miracle Method did the same and the gentleman who came by was really nice and helpful. However the lady who then sent me the quote via email was just difficult and sort of had an attitude. First off, their price came out to be more than 2x of other reputable companies that I had requested from. Naturally, I wanted to understand why and asked her to explain the differences between their product and others. I would have liked to consider their "superior product" if I understood the difference. But instead of explaining it to me, she just came back with a short "ours is better" or "they don't use what we use" responses. Obviously, I didn't go with them. I believe these guys mainly do commercial properties, which is why if you visit their website, you can barely find anything about residential garage flooring. I had the most disgusting, impossible to clean 40 year old stained and yellowed textured shower floor and ugly 1980s tile and after two-half days of work and drying over night it is unrecognizable. Worth every single penny, it looks brand new. They are super responsive, transparent about costs, what you can and can't do or use with it, and very detail oriented. Jose did a fantastic job from start to finish, patched up a broken tile and "erased" the marks from the shower doors I removed. Giving a review for this work is difficult because I feel like the finished product is pretty good. They restored an old bathtub and shower tile and it looks nice now, however in the process the chemicals they used literally ripped paint off the walls, the trim, and the ceiling. I now have to take more time and effort to fix those problems. Obviously the contract you sign says there may be paint damage, but the extent of the paint damage was not what I anticipated. I thought maybe there would be a little damage, not having to repaint the whole bathroom. Lastly, the process is incredibly invasive, there was a layer of dust in my entire house as a result of the sanding of my tub. I had to vacuum and mop at least twice until it finally felt comfortable to walk on. So if you need a tub refinished, it will look nice, but just know going into it that there are trade offs and potentially some more prep and more work that you will have to do afterwards. read more

I had my kitchen counters and sink resurfacing by this company. They had to redo my counter and sink 3 times to get it right. It took way longer than I expected. Then 6 months later my sink started to crack. When I called them regarding it, in a hope to have it repaired I found out that they have no guarantees meaning they don't backup their job not even for a month. Our trusted plumber who understood that we could not afford a bathroom remodel to replace the aging and worn uniquely shaped tub referred us to Miracle Method. A previous reviewer commented in their review that it is difficult because the finished product is pretty good. After about 2-3 weeks there were 6-8 areas that were raised, like something was underneath the acrylic. I placed pieces of masking tape next to all the areas, one of which developed a very small round opening (read hole in the refinishing). The person who did the initial refinishing came and indicated he did not sand as well as he could have. After he was done, he told me there was one spot (of the 6-8 areas) that was not under warrantee. So, given the close to two-hours he spent fixing areas that he missed, I was charged $395 for this one (debatable since all that is ever dropped onto the floor of the tub is a bar of soap) area. IMHO, I should have been given the benefit of any doubt that this one areas was my fault, considering the many areas of the refinishing that had to be fixed. read more

I chose them, from one recommendation, and because the sales person who answered the phone was, first friendly, lots of knowledge, and gave me a quote over the phone. Now, this tub was rough. Years and years of sand, dirt, wrong cleansers. At any rate, it looks brand new, they were on time, left the place clean. I would highly recommend this company. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH SHADY COMPANIES! We needed our blue bathtub refinished to white. First things first - don't trust the first quote. After we had signed up with them, we received a call and told that it would *actually* cost $100 more than quoted. We should have realized then we were dealing with a shady company, but it was still cheaper than other option (purchasing a fitted cover for the tub) and we wanted the job done quickly. Fool me once, shame on you. We had our bathtub refinished, and were very happy with work. However, a few weeks later, some minor imperfections appeared. We called them and were told my an employee that sometimes the coating "bubbles", that this isn't uncommon. We weren't worried about this, because Miracle Method very prominently advertises their 5 year warranty. However when we tried to have them honor the warranty, they told us instead that they had determined (without ever coming to inspect the damage) that it was uncovered damage, and that we would need to pay $225 to have the damage fixed. Fool me twice, shame on me. I wish we'd have just gone with the more expensive option - at this point it would have only been a few hundred dollars more, it would have been a better, more durable product, and we would have given our money to an honest company. Like I said, avoid. Give your business to companies that value their customers and want to take care of them. read more

They sent an inexperienced kid to do the work. The outcome was very uneven, with dried paint drips all over. When we complained to the company, the manager said, and I quote, "We never promised perfection!" Well, we weren't about to pay for their mediocre work and demanded the glazing be redone, even though it meant the extra expense of 2 additional nights at a hotel (they say the paint is odorless but that's far from the truth, you could smell the strong paint fumes from the sidewalk outside it was so intense).
