Disappointed. Our lovely Stephanie is no longer at this location. Stephanie was a true asset to miracle ear. My 93 year old mother use to love miracle ear and of course Stephanie. My mom was having an issue with wire coming out. She happened to be in the area and stopped by. To her surprise No Stephanie. The new receptionist helped her but she was a bit reluctant and tried to charge a fee. My sister who drove my mom there said they never charge a fee. The next day my mom received a phone call from their always rude call center. The person who called was reading my mom the rules on how you must make an appointment they do not accept walkins. So strange when D from the riverside location was so happy to visit and see my mom after she sold her a 17k pair of hearing aids. So frustrating! People please go with your parents to these appointments they truly need our guidance and supervision. If not they will be taken advantage of. Shame on you miracle ear, you need to step up your client service and care about the elders and patients that are keeping you in business. read more

Edwin of Miracle Ear was a miracle worker for my Dad. With Covid-19 our local miracle ear was closed and my fathers hearing aids were not working! It was horrible!!! Having to yell to communicate with my Father and also him not being able to communicate with the world is always heartbreaking. During these unique times with Covid-19 I understand the needing to stay home and close down. But what about the medical need? I called the main corporate number to explain my plight and with their aid, they found Edwin at Miracle ear Whittier who was taking appointments only. Thank Goodness!!! We saw Edwin and he was able to dial in my fathers older hearing aids with miracle ability. I have never been able to talk with my father so easily. He said he will be able to dis them in better but at a later appointment. Thank you Edwin and Miracle Ear for making this Miracle happen for us! read more

Needing hearing aids, but on a fixed retirement income, I found out that Miracle Ear was a partner/preferred provider with my letter carriers union; so I went for testing, hoping for a discount. The audiologist even mentioned "We offer deep discounts for your union," but he was clearly commission-driven. The price quote was outrageous, about a thousand dollars more than nearby Sonus, which was not affiliated with my union or health plan. A $60 Costco membership enabled me to purchase hearing aids from a top manufacturer, Phonak, at one-third the price of Miracle Ear. My Phonaks are amazing. Costco's audiologists are hourly-waged employees, versus commission-driven. After purchasing my hearing aids from Costco, Miracle Ear kept phoning me and sending me junk mail with more affordable offers. They should have given me their best offer after testing me in their office. read more

My wife responded to a Miracle Ear add in our newspaper. It said FREE hearing tests. When we go there at the Kunia location, we have to show an ID and our med coverage cards. WHY? You say free tests. I did not mind showing ID, but not my INSU cards. The guy told me its common sense whenever you go to see a DR., you show the cards. My Dr.s dont send me anything saying free colonoscopy, free yearly check up, or free blood test. How about you give us the free test and then if there is something wrong with my hearing, then we can talk about showing med med insu cov. I was pretty upset and he then told me, since you are upset, I could go wait for my wife outside. My pleasure, because we both left. This is false advertising and the Better Business Bureau will be sending me a complaint form to file. I don't trust a company that shows informational commercials on late night TV. I acted pretty assertive, but the guy at the desk acted like an AHOLE. Don't use common sense with me when your FREE ad contradicts itself and does not make sense via false advertising. I am retired from a Law Enforcement agency. I have made a lot of contacts and will spread the word about this company. Go to Costco or to an ENT Dr. Do not use this company and give personal info if they advertise free. You want common sense? How about you find something wrong with our hearing and then we can talk med cov if a hearing aid is needed. THAT IS COMMON SENSE! read more

I was having problems with my hearing and was recently helped by Edwin at the Whittier location. He was very knowledgeable and extremely kind. He explained everything he was going to do and was very thorough. He showed me my middle ear which thankfully looked normal and did a hearing test which was also normal. All of this was done at no charge! I was extremely happy with the personal attention that was shown to me. I would highly recommend coming to this location. read more

Robert Murillo is absolutely wonderful. I took my elderly mother to get her hearing aids there and I loved how he treated her with such respect and made sure the hearing aids fit her needs. He even made a house call and set up the system so she could hear the TV when it is turned all the way down. We have gone in for follow up appointments and he answered any and all questions we had. I've been going to Miracle Ear in Whittier for almost three years and have generally been pleased with their service (especially with Edwin Van Capelle). Edwin no longer works there and now the office only has a hearing aid specialist there once a week! I went today for my 3 month appointment and after waiting to see the specialist, I was not pleased with the things he told me about a problem I was having with the charger. Stephanie had suggested I have the hearing aids sent in to the factory for repair especially since the warranty expires in November but the specialist said the problem was with the charger and not the hearing aid which is directly opposite with what a previous specialist and Stephanie had told me. I was not satisfied with this specialist and the fact that he didn't seems to provide the level of care and understanding I am used to having from previous specialists. And when I left, they didn't even schedule my next visit which they have always done. The one star is for this most recent visit. Up until today, I would've rated Miracle Ear a 5-star review. read more
