Alcler Medspa - Waiting room

Everyone at this location is friendly and knowledgeable. Zoe was very patient when booking my laser…read morehair removal as I had so many questions and Marie was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. Alice was AMAZING with my laser hair removal. She understood I was nervous and took the time to explain everything to me. It was only an underarm removal and it was way easier than I expected- I'm loving the results. I also love that the staff doesn't "pressure" you into doing procedures when you aren't ready. The location is incredibly clean and beautiful. Thank you, Alcler!

I went to Alcler exactly a year ago in November 2024 for Ultherapy as I was told by the consultant…read moreand nurse that it would not burn any fat on my very thin face and give a "lifting" effect, if the settings are set correctly. I trusted them so I proceeded. Fast forward a full year, I can confidently say it absolutely DID burn the very little fat I had on my lower face and left deep vertical lines (like indented grooves I can feel) on my cheeks. My dermatologist confirmed this too. Knowing I couldn't easily get to Brea as I live far I didn't reach out to them immediately after the procedure as I wanted to be fair and wait at least 3-6 months, at which point the fat loss and vertical lines became more significant. I sent Alcler photos of my fat loss and deep vertical lines on November 1, 2025. Everyone's experience with Ultherapy will be different, I understand that but when I reached out to the consultant, she at first was nice but then turned condescending toward me and even sat there with a patronizing grin while I explained to her it was not easy for me to go back to their clinic to then possibly be told they can't help me. And to be fair, I was upset so she reacted in this way, but this is an unprofessional reaction nonetheless. You can't reverse the fat loss from Ultherapy! I only called them to inform them that the Ultherapy burned my fat and caused deep vertical lines to form on my cheeks (shown in the photos I submitted). I also requested a refund and they said no, that I needed to come in so they can "see what they can do" but at that point, I didn't want anymore procedures done there. I asked to speak to the owner after this peculiar experience with the consultant and that went even worse. He asked me to come in so they can take more photos and see "what they can do," once again. I didn't want anything else done there based on my terrible experience and I wasn't going to drive an hour and a half to be told they can't help me. So then he hung up on me while I was still talking. He sounded older so it may be a generational thing, but what kind of customer service is that? This review is primarily to share my experience with Ultherapy, everyone is different so results will of course be different, and mine did not turn out well at all. I really regret doing it now, but I trusted them at the time. I strongly believe the settings were set too high and my dermatologist believes the same. And this review is also to share the negative experience I had with the consultant and especially the owner, I've never been treated this way for a service like this. Never. This procedure is not cheap either ($1,800 at the time) so this is only my loss, not theirs. Having said all this, at least the front desk staff was professional.

The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. Everything is explained in great detail. Their (Gabby) attention to detail and outstanding customer service made the entire visit enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to refresh, rejuvenate, and be pampered, this is definitely the place to go! Just booked my next appointment, and you should too. They also have a discount for being a first time customer. Go all out and pamper yourself, you deserve it.

Making an appointment was so easy as I was able to inquire and book at the same time via Yelp and for the same day! Kristin was very helpful online and in person when it came to answering all my questions and checking me in. Gabby was so sweet, gentle and knowledgeable which is I think is super important when it comes to something so vulnerable for me. She took her time to educate while providing suggestions based on what I wanted without trying to "upsell" me. Im not sure how they mix their products but the Botox settled in within 4 days, half the time it usually does when I get injected anywhere else. I also enjoyed and appreciated the follow-up appointment to see the results. Lastly, this place is GORGEOUS. It appears to be new and is in a great plaza conveniently located right next to Brea Mall. Parking isn't bad during non-peak hours, but I'm not sure what it's like otherwise. It's definitely better than the other places Ive been to which relieves a lot of stress for me. Excited to go back in a couple of months. :)

My first consultation was with nurse Amy, and she was so kind, patient, and a great listener. My conversation with her initially helped me gained trust in the business. However, I am hesitant to return for continued treatment because: - Skin tag removal scheduling options are extremely limited (my drive is far, and I'd like to have more flexibility of days I could get the treatment done). - No numbing cream. I'm not sure I could tolerate anymore treatments without some kind of effective numbing cream... please support your spa and staff with products that help ease patient discomfort. - Cost. Although I don't mind paying for a treatment I really need, considering the pain level with no numbing cream and the time it takes to remove skin tags (because I have to keep returning), the price is at a much higher end than seems reasonable. Overall, the new 2nd floor space is nice and rooms seem well maintained. Staff has been so friendly and helpful! When you step inside, check in to the right as they share a building with a salon.

My body responds well to it, and until recently, I trusted the providers there--especially Lori--without hesitation. A few months ago, they suggested I try a newer product called Letybo, which was described as being mixed with saline and supposedly more effective. Because I had built trust with them over the years, I agreed to give it a chance. Within a few weeks, it became clear that Letybo was not as strong for me and did not give me the results I've always had with Dysport. I expressed my concerns at that time, but they seemed brushed off. When I scheduled my most recent appointment about three weeks ago, I was very clear with Savannah on the phone that I only wanted Dysport, as it has consistently worked best for me. She said she would note this in my chart. On the day of the appointment, Savannah took my before photos, and I again asked her to confirm that I was receiving Dysport. She told me yes and said she would confirm with Lori. Lori then came in and performed the treatment. I left believing I had received Dysport. Three weeks later, after being unhappy with the results once again, I called the office to ask exactly what product had been used. That's when I was told it was Letybo, not Dysport. I am extremely disappointed. I was clear about my concerns, clear about my request, and clear about what I consented to. Yet I was given a product I explicitly asked not to receive. Even more troubling, it was presented in a way that led me to believe I was getting Dysport, which felt misleading and dismissive of my concerns. After three years of trust, this experience felt unprofessional and careless--especially in a medical aesthetics setting where transparency and patient consent are essential. I expected to be listened to and respected as a long-term patient, and unfortunately, that did not happen here.

All of my friends in Orange County pay $450 for the same thing I get (the price of just my forehead and elevens). $200 extra to do your crows feet seems extreme. Sadly, I have to look somewhere else. Great staff or not, the price is too much! The staff even says they know they're expensive next to other places. I wish they did some sort of savings plan for all of us costumers that have been with them for years.
