Disclaimer - I do know Dr. Kun personally however I am picky about my healthcare providers & have paid for my service. Recently I woke up with sudden hearing loss in one ear & I was so confused as it has never happened before. After some light research, I reached out to Dr. Kun as I knew she is an audiologist, I learned one should definitely get it checked within 72 hours or the risk is permanent hearing damage / loss. Dr. Kun was able to see me same day (thankfully) due to the urgency and performed a hearing test and confirmed my diagnosis of sudden hearing loss in that ear, and also checked it wasn't being blocked by maybe wax or something else. She referred me to another hearing doctor to get prescribed medication + a second opinion, which I did, and she prepared and provided a report for the doctor. Thankfully my hearing did back to normal & she followed up and confirmed with a follow up hearing test. I'm thankful for the quality of care & professionalism, and thankfully they do take my insurance so I had a small copay only. If you have any hearing concerns, I highly recommend Kun hearing!

He and his wife are courteous and very responsive, and we had no communication problems. My father purchased hearing aids under a trial period that ended on December 28. Multiple attempts were made before the trial period ended to return the hearing aids, yet the office refused to accept them and hid behind technicalities, poor communication, and silence. On December 9, during an in-office appointment, my father clearly stated that he wanted to return the hearing aids because he was unhappy. Rather than explaining the return deadline or process, Keith told him there were still "adjustments" to try. He did not clearly state that the hearing aids had to be physically returned before the end of the trial period. On December 26, an email was sent requesting to return the hearing aids. Another email followed on December 27 from my father initiating the return. The office was closed on December 28 for the holidays, yet no guidance was provided about how returns would be handled during that closure. Keith did not respond until December 30, stating the trial period had ended and the hearing aids could not be returned. To make matters worse, follow-up emails and phone calls went unanswered. When we followed up again in January, the response cited HIPAA--despite the fact that I personally attended the first appointment, completed the paperwork, and was listed as a point of contact. At a second appointment, we even asked if additional authorization paperwork was needed to assist with communication and were explicitly told that was not needed and note would be added to my father's chart. Keith has discretion to extend the trial period. Knowing my father was unhappy, knowing the next appointment wasn't until March, and knowing the office would be closed at the very end of the trial period, he chose not to extend it--or even clearly explain the deadline. Instead, it feels like time was allowed to quietly run out. This was not a misunderstanding. It was a failure of transparency, communication, and basic ethics. The experience left us feeling dismissed, ignored, and taken advantage of--especially troubling when dealing with an elderly patient making a significant financial and medical decision. Extremely disappointing and not a practice I would recommend to families who expect honesty and clear guidance.

The reason I am…read morefinally giving a review is because Nathan at Romero Hearing Aids blew me away with his patience, professionalism, and expertise. A little backstory to my situation. I went completely deaf in my left ear earlier this year due to an illness. I am 38 years old and this came as a complete shock. My option was a bicros hearing aid to help me with my new norm. I didn't start out going to Nathan at Romero Hearing, I was first seeing a competing audiologist. I felt like I needed a more intimate, relaxed atmosphere where the provider was going to work with me at my pace. This was a whole new world for me and the last thing I needed was to feel rushed. Nathan provided this and more. I never felt pressured to make a decision, Nathan was willing to do whatever it took to make me happy with my choice. In the end I actually recovered some hearing in my deaf ear. And without Nathans patience I probably would have never noticed and ended up being steered in the wrong direction and ending up with the wrong hearing aids. All this service and not to mention Nathan is very competitive with his pricing!!! I ended up going with some Unitron hearing aids. These can be programed to either a cros, bicros, or normal hearing aids. Thanks for the help Nathan! You have earned a lifelong customer!

Adam Habibi has always been remarkably available, efficient, timely, professional -- and most of all, caring and non-judgemental. For example, it turns out my father was often only wearing only one of his 2 hearing aids, not realizing this can lead to cognitive decline in the opposite side of the brain that is not receiving regular stimulus from sounds being picked up. Adam was able to easily explain the downsides of that choice clearly to my English-as-a-second-language father. This motivated him to change, without feeling bad. When dad lost one of his hearing aids and it was out of its three-year warranty, Adam kindly provided a loaner pair of Starkey's Livio 2400 for 2 weeks. This was at 4pm on December 30, when after closing at 5pm Adam invested an extra 30 minu to set up the programming on the spot - an unplanned extension to what was scheduled to be a shorter consultation. My father ran out of the office to his next appointment while I stayed behind to schedule his return visit - and then I see Adam come to the reception desk and he gives me a free pack of batteries from the rack they sell from! He was thinking ahead, just in case the batteries needed to be replaced ... so that my father would not be without the ability to hear during the holidays. Adam really goes the extra mile. Mary at the front desk is also very knowledgeable, kind hearted and accommodating - she tries hard to fit you in when you need it, and she understands the ins and outs of warranties. They do everything they can to make sure you get good value from the manufacturer's policies. I feel like they're on our side; they truly care about patient satisfaction. The only thing to be aware of is Adam splits his time between the Orange office and one in Lake Forest (I think), so if you're not willing to drive to Lake Forest you need to be available on Mondays and Thursdays, which are Adam's days at the Orange location.
