Worst service ever. Been customer at the Buena Park location for years before it closed down recently. Had appt at 9:00 for hearing test today and ear aide cleaning. Johny came out took our aides look at them said okay didn't bother cleaning or anything handed them back said okay there. We asked what a bout the hearing test, said he didn't have time to do it. Told us go to Costco's they can do hearing test and clean the sides. What ?? Why bother making an appointment confirming it and not doing it. Ridiculous!! read more

Initially the new hearing aids, me-energy RIC worked better than my nine year old hearing aids. Every time you go, you will likely see a different technician but this is not a problem as long as you keep track of your history and tweaks. I think this retail center is good if you have mild loss, but probably not for higher loss than that. Each technician will hold the h aid up to their ear. When you get a great technician, worth it if you can book again with them. But I've had issues with understanding people speaking for over a year and technicians can't fix it. Streaming and zoom calls are good but not great. I went for a consult elsewhere and found out if you can hear streaming or calls but not people unless they are in front of you two feet away- it's a microphone issue. I'll make an appointment at Miracle Ear since my h aids are still under warranty and let them know what I need fixed. I'll follow up on the review with the results read more

Stephanie (the receptionist) is one of the nicest people on the planet. She greets customers warmly both in person and on the phone as if she's known the person for years. Stuart (the hearing aid specialist) is knowledgeable and competent, but also has wonderful people skills. He empathizes with patients' concerns and is willing to go the extra mile to help. The receptionist has exceptional customer service. We came in last week and I had called before coming to make an appt and she was very nice, slow spoken and even nicer in person!! Today we went in to get my dad fitted for his hearing aid and Chas was very patient and very informative to help my dad who's not fluent in English understand everything about the hearing aid. I was very blessed to happen upon this Hearing Aid Center when I was looking at getting hearing aids for the first time in my life. In searching the web for hearing aid information, I came across the news that Miracle Ear was getting the most advanced hearing aids on the market. The Hearing Center here is staffed by an audiologist who truly is very good at what he does. Dr Stuart performed a very thorough testing on my hearing, all the while explaining what the tests were for, and how my hearing had diminished at certain frequencies. He explained the differences between the various types of hearing aids and why certain types would be better for me based on what I do for a living. They do carry most of the leading brands and the pricing is good. I left the store wearing a demo pair to see how it worked, and to see if I would to get used to wearing hearing aids. I had no idea how much I had been missing in my hearing, and the newer technology is very sophisticated and small. I've returned as scheduled for a few followups, fine tuning and a few more test to make sure they were set to my specific requirements. I'm a very happy customer, able to hear sounds I was missing, and very impressed with the technology in my hearing aids. This place canceled my husband's appointment 2 times in the row. The receptionist claimed that she called prior to appointments and warned about the cancelations, but there were no messages neither on mine, or my husband's phone. At my husband's last appointment 3 months ago the technician did not have equipment necessary for tuning the device, so no service was provided anyway. We paid $5500.00 for the device and service that we're not receiving. Great disappointment!!! read more

I wish there was a 10 star rating on Yelp, because this Miracle-Ear Center deserves it. Stephanie who is at the front desk is gracious, caring and reassuring. I have had a couple of instances with my mom's hearing aids the most recent when she dropped it in the sink and it was covered in water. I thought for sure I would have to replace it but upon bringing it in Stephanie was right there to help and reassured me it was most likely going to be fine. She worked on getting everything dried out, reassembled the unit, put a new battery in and there was that beautiful sound of everything working fine. She is a superstar. Stuart, who is the hearing aid specialist at this site is also very caring, compassionate and so very kind towards my mother who has dementia. He cares for hearing needs with his total attention and works with us to make sure mom is getting the best possible use of her hearing aids. I would like to thank Dr. Spencer Stuart for his exceptional service. If not for him, I would not even try a hearing aid. He helped me accept the reality that I need my hearing improved before it gets worst. I told him, I don't want a hearing aid that is seen from the outside. He went deep analyzing the best fit hearing aid for me to try on, considering all possible aspect that would bring the best experience like cost, lifestyle, etc. He then developed a hearing aid that is customized, fitted inside my ears. One unique test that he did was speech recognition. I never had this test done by any other hearing center in the past whether mandatory hearing tests required by my employer or test performed by other clinics. All other hearing test centers only tested through a "beep" of different tones, speech is way different than a "beep". Dr. Spencer's sincere desire to help and come up with the best solution is very much appreciated.. Stefanie, the front desk officer is also accommodating and very diligent and setting up appointments. She never missed a call to remind appointments. I have been wearing hearing aids for many years. Never have I experienced the kind of personal service I have received at this office. Stephanie, who greets you at the front desk or on the phone, is a gem. She offered to make a business call for me, knowing that I had difficulty with phones. That call took almost an hour, but Stephanie was patient. At no time did she make me feel that I was taking up her office time with something that was not a priority. Jim is very knowledgeable and very patient. From the moment I first walked into this office, I felt comfortable. There is no hard sell here. If there is a problem, Jim will find the answer. I have had three followup appointments to make sure my new hearing aids are working well. Frankly, these are the best hearing aids I have had. The clarity is amazing! Lack of clarity had almost always been my biggest complaint and has caused a huge amount of frustration over the years. I have had a hearing loss for many years and tried a variety of hearing aids. All of them helped more or less but none as perfectly as Miracle Ears. The people in the Brea office provide knowledge, quality service and value. Jim Simonelli performed a very thorough test of my ability to hear under different circumstances as well as fine-tuning the programming of the h.a. I purchased.
