cannot say enough good things about Lori Esposito at Accurate Hearing Aid Center on Beach Boulevard…read morein Huntington Beach. She is caring, compassionate and very talented. I started wearing hearing aids about three years ago. I was told by my original audiologist that I have a very narrow left ear canal with a sharp, tight turn. He fitted me with the smallest dome he had, but when he inserted in my ear, it was just too painful to wear. He put an extra wire on the hearing aid which enabled me to wear it while it rested just outside the ear canal. It wasn't great but was better than nothing. I always worried it would fall out of my ear and I'd lose it. I was told a custom ear mold would solve my problem. Late one Friday afternoon, my audiologist put the mold material in my ear. I don't know if it was left in too long, or because of the shape of my ear canal, but the material hardened in my ear and he couldn't pull it out. Since my ENT's office was closed, I went to the ER, and they were also unable to pull it out. It was so painful when they tried! On Monday, I went to my ENT's office where his PA attempted to remove it. It hurt so much that I was near tears. About a week later, my ENT surgically removed the rock-like material that was about the size of a marble. For two years, I wore the hearing aid resting in my ear held with the wire. I was afraid to try another custom mold. I decided to change audiologists and I met Lori. I asked if she could make a mold that would hold the hearing aid in place but not inside my ear canal. After hearing my story, she seemed a little reluctant to take me on. But she said she really wanted to help me and she thought she could do it. She did it! The custom mold fits perfectly and painlessly. It does not fall out. I can hear so much better. I couldn't be happier. Lori is the best! I highly recommend her!

I've had a constant staph infection in that ear since the surgery and had to actually ask him to perform a culture test at my last appointment in order to get an appropriate antibiotic to clear it up. He reluctantly took a specimen and was clearly annoyed that I had to tell him to do it. Each and every appointment is extremely rushed and he doesn't like to answer questions about my condition or the course of care. This pissed me off to the point today that I actually walked out of the office and asked my primary ENT Doctor for another referral. Furthermore, his office manager is one of the biggest bitch's I've ever come across in the health care profession. For example, today while I was in the waiting room at their Orange office location I overheard her complaining to another front office employee about a patient in an extremely unprofessional way. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. 1 Extremely poor patient care and communication. 2 Dr. House should retire as he is either in his late 60's or even in his early 70's. That alone should have been enough for me to seek another ENT surgeon. 3 his front office manager is a complete bitch! Look elsewhere.

Adam Habibi has always been remarkably available, efficient, timely, professional -- and most of all, caring and non-judgemental. For example, it turns out my father was often only wearing only one of his 2 hearing aids, not realizing this can lead to cognitive decline in the opposite side of the brain that is not receiving regular stimulus from sounds being picked up. Adam was able to easily explain the downsides of that choice clearly to my English-as-a-second-language father. This motivated him to change, without feeling bad. When dad lost one of his hearing aids and it was out of its three-year warranty, Adam kindly provided a loaner pair of Starkey's Livio 2400 for 2 weeks. This was at 4pm on December 30, when after closing at 5pm Adam invested an extra 30 minu to set up the programming on the spot - an unplanned extension to what was scheduled to be a shorter consultation. My father ran out of the office to his next appointment while I stayed behind to schedule his return visit - and then I see Adam come to the reception desk and he gives me a free pack of batteries from the rack they sell from! He was thinking ahead, just in case the batteries needed to be replaced ... so that my father would not be without the ability to hear during the holidays. Adam really goes the extra mile. Mary at the front desk is also very knowledgeable, kind hearted and accommodating - she tries hard to fit you in when you need it, and she understands the ins and outs of warranties. They do everything they can to make sure you get good value from the manufacturer's policies. I feel like they're on our side; they truly care about patient satisfaction. The only thing to be aware of is Adam splits his time between the Orange office and one in Lake Forest (I think), so if you're not willing to drive to Lake Forest you need to be available on Mondays and Thursdays, which are Adam's days at the Orange location.
