Probably the worst service ever experienced since they were bought by Hear USA. I spent $7,000 for hearing aids four years ago. They never could stop the feedback in the right ear. My contract ran out February 2023. No one ever called me to ask about renewing. I have called them three times and they have yet to returned my call. Well, well, well. What a surprise today! I went to this place for the first time a few years ago, for the first time, to buy swim plugs. They charged me $280! Unfortunately I did some research after I had already order them. The price in other places for both was $150. I went back and told them and the reply was "that's our price". Fast forward to today, when I went to the House Institute, the most reputable hearing health center in the U.S.; Dr. House designed the very first cochlear implant. This was my first time seeing an audiologist as I've been having a slight consistent ringing in my left ear. Dr. Kasra was very thorough in checking my ear and explaining to me thoroughly the cause of the issue. He washed my ear canal out and since then the ringing has stopped. I also decided to purchase custom earplugs with him and the process of fitting was very easy and comfortable. When I picked up my plugs and began using them, I saw a significant reduction in hearing which was what I was looking for. Every visit I've had has been extremely professional and helpful. I was a customer of them two years ago and bought hearing aids from them. The units developed a problem and needed repairs under warranty and were repaired at no charge by Tustin Hearing. During the repair time, the business changed ownership and affiliation. I was told on pickup that the units would need to be reprogrammed, the programing would cost $65.00 prepaid. I got a mailer from them for a free hearing evaluation, and I made an appointment for the hearing test and reprogramming. All went well until I prepared to leave when I was informed that the test would cost $65.00. I explained to no avail that I had prepaid for the program and reminded them of the mailer for a free evaluation. Their reply was that the evaluation was not the test, and the programing did not include the test. Never will I return as they misrepresent their services. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Farrow. About 10 years ago I purchased hearing aids; the speaker went out on one. I came into the office for an appointment and she basically wasn't interested in anything but selling me a newer pair. She stated that the parts were no longer available and couldn't order them. I went to another doctor, who ordered the piece I needed, no fuss. I'm up an hearing again for $150 versus the $10K that Dr. Farrow wanted. I went in with a completely muffled left ear and thankfully just a cleaning was needed to restore my hearing. Please be aware that of 2021 Tustin Hearing Center is NOT the professional and compassionate business so many clients have loved and trusted. The owner has sold the business to a company that is the polar opposite of the wonderful hearing center that has helped so many throughout the years. It's a shame that the new owners keep the Tustin Hearing Center name. I'm a patient of dr. Finnegan. He's great. I saw three audiologists and two hearing aid dispensers before deciding on Tusting Hearing Center and dr. Finnegan. Of all the AuDs I've seen, he has the most skill, actually explains what's happening and puts effort into educating patients. I can confidently say that the results of HA adjustment by him were / are the most satisfactory. I feel that dr. F. is really interested in my hearing health. He follows up and seems to overall care. I have a rare condition in my cochlea that requires particular approach and is probably more costly to an audiologist (time-wise) that a more "regular" hearing loss, but I have never felt that any of this was an issue to dr. Finnegan. I can fully recommend him to anyone with hearing troubles. Also, kudos to Jenny, the receptionist, for being such a nice presence in the office :) read more

Dr. Reid did a thorough exam, explained my degree of hearing loss, and gave me a pair of "loaner" hearing aids to try for two weeks. After only a couple of days I was sold! I have been using Tustin Hearing for a couple of years now and the service (if I may call it that) and their recommendations for hearing aids last year was spot on for my needs. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is in need. I am a teacher and the classroom with the engaging students can be quite challenging. But the Oticons answered the call. The hearing aids they recommended were Oticons with a blue tooth feature that is downloaded onto my cell phone. I can lay the phone on my desk, make calls and handle paperwork at the same time while conversing. Really amazing. I can even listen to Pandora, slide the phone into my pocket and have a personal concert going on. If I receive a call, Pandora goes to hold, and the cell phone and Oticons pickup the call. Tustin Hearing Center is amazing and here's why. They have been there through every step of my hearing loss journey, even through my denial phase. I came to them when I was first discovered my hearing loss but to be honest I thought they were a scam just trying to sell me hearing aids as I was in complete denial losing my hearing so young (sorry guys!) I went to five different doctors after that from ENT doctors to hearing specialists to try to figure out the root of my hearing loss--literally EVERYONE was telling me I needed hearing aids. I absolutely LOVE the Tustin Hearing Center...!!! I finally admitted that I needed hearing aids four years ago and tried a couple of other suppliers without getting the help I needed or didn't get a good feeling about the experience. Almost a year later I scheduled an evaluation at the Tustin Hearing Center and knew right away it was going to be a completely different experience. From the first minute I walked in I was treated like family and a friend, not "just another customer." After a thorough evaluation, I was given information about various options for my hearing aids and wasn't pressured to buy more than I wanted. I bought what I felt was a good match for my needs and after getting used to them and getting them "dialed in" I couldn't be happier. The regular follow up visits and a couple of maintenance visits have been very easy to schedule and didn't require more than a few minutes before I was taken care of. During the course of my 3 months of trying hearing aids here (4 year patient, I bought my last set here then and those have served me well), Sneha and the team at the Tustin hearing center treated me like dear family members (albeit, the kind of family I only interact with once or twice a month). I was even able to reach Sneha through email when I had an urgent question, I got a response within 2 hours! It is very comforting to be able to reach out to my doctors via email if I need to. I never once felt pressured to say yes to anything and I was given ample trial time (1-2 weeks per hearing aid set) to try out 2 sets of hearing aids until I found a pair of over the ear aids that I never would have considered in a normal setting. Because I was given generous trial time with them, I was able to make the life-altering choice to choose the over-the-ear hearing aids that gave me a great representation of normal hearing functions as compared to the in-the-ear style. While I preferred the low-profile look of the in-the-ear hearing aid style which I've used for nearly a decade, I realized what a substantial difference the over-the-ear hearing aids made in my ability to naturally understand conversations. Sneha and the team were on a fierce mission to be sure I was happy with my hearing aids. I was able to find a pair that was a major positive driving force for my lifestyle. At no point did I ever feel rushed to make a decision or pay. I was treated like an old friend, rather than just another number. I truly felt like a patient receiving the best care from experts.
