When I went to Well Quest Assisted Living he came their once a month and did all the things he did at the Colony and at no charge. I have purchased 2 pr of hearing aids from Dr. Mike Johnson and the 2nd pr even had a small remote control so I could change the settings from Normal to Comfortable to Music which is great for TV and the control had plus or minus allowing you to adjust even more than the 3 settings. Both Dr. Lui and Dr. Riedler were very professional and gave me a series of medication and recommendations. I might have to have my tonsils take out but my tonsil feels significantly better and if I do get surgery I'll go in feeling like all other options were checked. The medical assistants are very personable and the office staff is friendly. Overall it's a positive environment and I feel like I've received good medical attention.

Schedule at the wrong location. Take over 6 months to schedule a surgery for a tumor that is growing, unbelievable! Surgeon in Poway was wonderful once it finally got scheduled but the unprofessional staff at Temecula and with surgery schedule is beyond unacceptable. At this point, I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. It's just not worth the headache. If negative stars were an option they would get them.

I had a work comp claim for hearing loss and HearUSA had a contract at the time with the intermediary insurance company. Sue handled all the necessary paperwork, which documented my work's acceptance of the claim, I had brought in. This was very helpful. I was provided a hearing test and the aids were ordered. Within a couple weeks I went to pick them up. The audiologist showed me how to use them, programed them to my needs and explained how to use the related app on my phone. Over those couple years afterwards I would return quarterly to have them replace the domes and check the speaker wires. I was in and out within minutes. Twice I had to have the aids returned to the manufacturer due to issues that arose with the internal speakers. They handled the packaging, shipping and follow up. I received them back in a timely manner. Those aids are now out of warranty. I was advised that HearUSA does not now have a contract with the intermediary insurance company involved in my original claim. I was advised to contact them should my employer, via work comp, provide me with a new set of aids once these bite the dust, to determine if whatever intermediary insurance company is being used is on their list to work with; and we'll go from there. My experience with this particular franchise was 5 star and I hope to return when that time comes.

The hearing aids were finally set to perfection *****BUT BILLING WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!! I had CIGNA in early Dec 2024 when purchased. It's Feb 28, 2025 and THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT STILL HAS NOT PROCESSED the claim correctly meaning my benefit of $2000 was not applied. SO I had to either pay or return them. I signed an agreement and paid my portion but UNITED MED BILLING DID NOT PROCESS CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!! I made lots of calls to no avail. So I've wasted my time, money & my hearing health (my deposit is coming in 30 days). THEIR BILLING MANAGER, ERICA CALLED ME AND CURTLY SAID I EITHER HAD TO RETURN THEM 2/28 (END OF TRIAL PERIOD GRACIOUSLY EXTENDED BY DR. DOSS) OR PAY $1610. I returned them because I already had to purchase an iPhone to use the hearing aids. My Android was not compatible (not informed by previous Doctor). Ugh. They took our appointment prior to being fully authorized to accept our insurance, but we were told that August 1 they would be able to submit our authorization. We are still currently without hearing aids, and our authorization has not been sent correctly. Not only has their provider, Teresa been extremely disrespectful to us since we raised concerns regarding the way our authorization was being handled, and management has also stopped calling us back. We are three months out from having originally be seen, and we have not received his necessary hearing aids. We were provided with a temporary Hearing Aid because we raised concerns with how this is being handled and were given a pair that we're not even fully functional, missing buttons, and a rapidly draining battery (we are changing batteries sometimes twice a day), but were told to be thankful for what we received. After nearly another month we were then told that our authorization was mailed in via USPS, which is not how authorizations are done with our insurance company. At this point we're now not only concerned with the fact that we have not received our hearing aids, but our medical information was not appropriately handled and mailed to some random address. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. We're currently in the process of filing a grievance with our insurance and a complaint with HIPPA. We were able to get in at Jesters Hearing Aid Center Inc. They were able to clearly tell me what their authorization process is and gave a clear timeline for their process, and how long it will take us to receive hearing aids with custom molds. Even in the brief of conversation with their office staff, they were far more competent and helpful than the staff at Belton and Valley Wide Hearing. I would suggest taking your business there rather than dealing with this company.

Three days pass I do not hear back from them , I called again, 7/6, The staff member who answered was the same woman who helped me when I went into the office. She said they would verify insurance and call me back. It's been a week 7/10 since this conversation, no call back from them. I called another hearing aid office and have an appointment elsewhere. Strange , very strange. No communication, no called back from them. How does a business stay in business by not reaching out to customers?
