Regardless of insurance it does not take almost nine months the schedule a procedure. I've called and been told a message is being sent to the surgery scheduled, I've called and been told a message is being sent to the office manager and to expect a call back, I've called and been told the practice manager is getting involved and I'll be hearing form them. Not a single one of these things have happened. Getting ahold of some at the practice is impossible. I don't even know if my referral is active. I'm not even sure if the doctor is taking my insurance. DO NOT COME TO CALIFORNIA HEAD AND NECK. If you're pcp refers your here have your referral redirected immediately. Don't wast your time. Doctor Banthia couldn't even be bothered to explain a procedure, he told me to scan a QR code on a brochure then told me to use AI.

Everyone wore masks and went overboard to insure safety from Covid 19. I honestly cannot think of any place with greater care and honest concern for their clients. They may not be the least expensive, but this is one case where you truly do get what you pay for. The audiologist was very nice and sympathetic to my 3 year battle with tinnitus. The hearing aid calmed the tinnitus but my hearing was still to good to warrant hearing aids. I would have given a good review if it hadn't been for the phone call I was about to receive. Mark called me and stated that he was sending me a $50.00 gift card and the second card would be for $25.00. He then had the nerve to change the terms. I would only receive the cards if I retracted my original review and leave a positive review. I will not change my original review because that is exactly what happened. It may not be illegal but is certainly unethical to bribe someone to leave you a good review for monetary compensation. This guy is a piece of work. I don't need your $75.00 dollars, if I did I wouldn't be shopping for $8,000.00 hearing aids.

    The audiologist, Naomi, and front office, Sue, were great to me the couple years I frequented the…read moreplace. I had a work comp claim for hearing loss and HearUSA had a contract at the time with the intermediary insurance company. Sue handled all the necessary paperwork, which documented my work's acceptance of the claim, I had brought in. This was very helpful. I was provided a hearing test and the aids were ordered. Within a couple weeks I went to pick them up. The audiologist showed me how to use them, programed them to my needs and explained how to use the related app on my phone. Over those couple years afterwards I would return quarterly to have them replace the domes and check the speaker wires. I was in and out within minutes. Twice I had to have the aids returned to the manufacturer due to issues that arose with the internal speakers. They handled the packaging, shipping and follow up. I received them back in a timely manner. Those aids are now out of warranty. I was advised that HearUSA does not now have a contract with the intermediary insurance company involved in my original claim. I was advised to contact them should my employer, via work comp, provide me with a new set of aids once these bite the dust, to determine if whatever intermediary insurance company is being used is on their list to work with; and we'll go from there. My experience with this particular franchise was 5 star and I hope to return when that time comes.
