I am very frustrated because my initial consultation went great. I was there at the end of September 2025 and was told that someone would call to schedule my surgery in a couple weeks and that my surgery would be around November. I started calling in November to follow up because I didn't hear back. They do not answer their phones. I've left a few messages, every 2 weeks, (not to bombard them) and still absolutely nothing. Such a waste of time when I could have gone to another office and could have had the surgery completed. Update: Manager contacted me and was super helpful and apologetic due to recent staffing changes. I now have an appointment for next month! read more

I am no stranger (unfortunately) to doctor's visits. But, this place has very INATTENTIVE and very much lacking service skills with regard to their office staff/front office. Without any exaggeration we called to try and make an appointment for THREE MONTHS with voice messages promising a call back, 15 calls, maybe 8 messages left and not ONE SINGLE return call, and all just to schedule a simple appointment!! I understand offices can get very busy, but seriously couldn't return a call in that amount of time? NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Do better for your community!! Poor poor quality!! read more

It's been almost 3 months now and it was a life-changing experience. I had Septoplasty, turbinate reduction and a large polyp removed. I am so frustrated with this medical office! Waited over 5 months for my hearing test, they call me a few days before and tell me they have to cancel it because the doctor I was scheduled with is no longer in their office. I have tried to call back to reschedule but they do not answer their phone- you have to leave a message and they call you back. Everytime they call me back I am teaching or in a meeting. Just constantly playing phone tag! I am going to be putting in a complaint with my insurance and try to get a referral to a different office. If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service at Tri Valley ENT is abysmal! I went in for an ENT consultation / nasal endoscopy & was told that I needed surgery. I have PPO insurance and am covered for it. It has been over 2 months since my initial appointment and nobody has followed up with me or returned my calls to get on Dr. Benjamin Roberts' surgery schedule. I've tried numerous times. At this point, I will just have to go with another doctor. Ludicrous that I need to pay for the office consultation & nasal endoscopy seeing that they had no intention of ever getting me on the doctor's schedule! I do NOT recommend this Doctors Office. We went into ENT Office over two months ago to get my grandson a tonsillectomy. We met with the doctor who was thorough and competent and awaited for the office to contact us with the surgery date. Our first surgery date was scheduled at Rancho Springs on March 12th we arrived to learn the surgery had been canceled. We had received notice, and as their office does not accept calls only messages which they may or may not ever answer to learn why it was canceled the hospital staff also had to leave a message. We were told multiple times due to Tylers age 19 he did not need to complete pre-op; then were told it's up to the anesthesiologist so we decided to do pre-op and scheduled that with his primary. Our doctor received the communication needed for the pre-op and it was stated the surgery was April 23rd. Today we learned it was not until May 13th the week he was to start a 9-month college program. We called the Office Manager, Doctor, Surgery scheduler and asked why it was changed and never received a response other that basically take it or leave it. They said they talked to the patient a 19-year-old who signed of confidentiality that his dad and I could receive information and there was a lot of miscommunications. I once again have found a good competent doctor surrounded by a staff of incompetent staff, the idea a date can be changed with no notification, that pre-op could or could not be done, that a 19-year-old person who has no knowledge to deal with this incompetent team is unbelievable. As an executive director for the Riverside County schools, and Administrator at the local college we welcomed parents to assist young people who wanted their parents to assist in understanding and getting started, if the students concurred. Tri Valley ENT blames the entire confusion on a 19-year-old who never had the unfortunate experience of dealing with our medical system and was continually given inaccurate information and dates. Needless to say, if you want to never have a call answered, get confusing information, be dealt with by an unprofessional unethical team this is the place to go! read more

Never had a better experience in a medical office before. The process from referral to scheduling to the appointment day was seamless. Front office is kind and patient as they work quickly and efficiently. Their office waiting room gives you comfort and reminds you of sitting at your grandparent's house with big comfy chairs and beautiful oil paintings. It made the hour wait totally bearable, plus we were undated throughout the wait. Dr. Ben Roberts was thorough and very personable. Went in to find out why my husband had a sudden high increase in loss of hearing, Dr. Roberts sent him in for an MRI of the head. MRI showed no ear problem but showed a narrowed main artery to the brain that needed urgent follow up due to stroke risk. He refused to request the 2 tests needed. When I finally got to speak with him he argued with me for quite a while and finally agreed to request the tests. The arrogant and condescending manner was too much to deal with, so we got the authorization for the tests immediately from our GP. read more

I wish I would have read reviews before going here AND trusted my instincts at my first visit. The office staff is beyond rude, condescending and arrogant. Not a tinge of professionalism here. Albeit, the sinus surgery by Dr. Ben Roberts, I believe was successful and has helped. I had to walk in the office (they never return calls) and ask to get my MRI results, as Dr. Roberts wanted to rule out a possible tumor in my brain. After being treated like I was a bother, I received a phone call from his staff that I didn't have one. It would have gone a long way if he would have called me. I had an ear infection that caused extreme pain for the last 2 months. My PCP referred me to this office. I had referral approved by my insurance and called their office to make an appointment. I called a few times and finally left a message to call me back. I received a call back but unfortunately the lady on the other end said that they could not make an appointment unless they have a hard copy of my insurance authorization confirmation. She said she'll follow up and will call me if she has the paperwork. A week later, no call back. I called their office again, NO ONE answers the phone and NO ONE returns my phone call. I guess this company does not want new patients. Called my insurance to refer me to a different ENT and called my PCP's office to inform them to not send their patients here. If you need to be seen right away, avoid this place. read more

I arrived on time. They phoned me the day prior with the arrival time of 3:30pm. I was informed by the front desk receptionist that I needed to arrive at 3:15pm. She told me I would have to reschedule. It took me an hour to drive from my work place to come to this apt and take time off from work. I will not return and will find a new doctor. Connect with your office staff of the correct time for appointments I was on time. I will schedule at Loma Linda Medical Center where they honor the appointments they make for clients. I was a prospective patient here at Tri Valley ENT in Murrieta. I had my initial appt and was told scheduling will reach out within a few days to schedule a surgery day. No one called so I attempted to get ahold of them, no one answered multiple occasions so I left a voicemail. Once they called me back approx 1-2 weeks later the lady didn't even know which patient she was talking to, she started saying hi is this " so and so" I say no, she says is this "so and so" i'm like no this is "my name" and she goes oh sorry what can I do for you, I explained to her I need to get a surgery appt scheduled, she states she has nothing for a few months out but when I was with the doctor a week prior states he can get me in within the next 3-4 weeks. The doctor was very nice and informative, I wish I could have went through with this surgery but due to the incompetence of the receptionist this will not happen. I called to get information about a consultation. No one answered so I was prompted to leave a message (which I did). That should have been my first clue. Over 24 hours later I received a call back. As I started to speak about why I made my initial call, I was rudely interrupted. Before I could even explain my situation, the female employee said in a frustrated tone, "Our first available appointment isn't until mid-October." That happens to be 2 months away. She was rude, impatient, and had 0 customer service skills. She didn't even know if I was calling for an appointment, we didn't get that far. I will NEVER go this practice. Clearly they are TOO BUSY and don't have time to speak with potential patients. Tri Valley ENT, I hope you read this review and use it as a teaching tool to improve your customer service. I'm sure your doctors are wonderful, but bad customer service can bring a good practice down. read more

So...kind of a mixed review here. Somehow the "organization" in the front office is a little wacky or...they're just spacing the patients way too close together. It took three months to get an appointment. They wanted me there 15 minutes early even though they had mailed the new patient documents to me and they were complete when I checked in for my 3:30 appointment (checked in at 3:15). Because I had looked at another review here before I went stating that the wait time was bad, I set the stopwatch on my phone to see how long it would take to get seen. It was an hour and five minutes from the time I checked in and 50 minutes from my scheduled "appointment" time. Not the worst but pretty bad. However, once I was in an exam room the doctor came in within about five minutes and he was FANTASTIC! Dr. Ben is very thorough and took his time explaining everything to me. He prefers to use natural methods of "medicine" when possible, which I really appreciate. I didn't mention the wait time to him because he was just so nice, but I told him about the time it took to get an initial appointment and he said that if I needed to return it would not take nearly as long. He explained that the lead-up time for new patients is because he only sees new patients once a week (I think that's what he said), and he likes to take his time with them. And he sure did. He spent probably about 30 minutes with me. I will definitely recommend him but with a caveat to expect a long wait for a new appointment and a pretty long wait in the office. read more

Got denied because they apparently don't accept out of pocket payment. They said they'd be "taking advantage of me". I've been to the ER 3 times for fluid in my left ear and have hyperacusis. They told me I need to see an ENT. I've never heard of being denied for wanting to pay out of pocket. I'm in severe pain and need medical care but thank you for denying my money. read more

Had an appointment for my daughter to be seen we were 8 mins late the receptionist made sure we were aware by repeatedly telling us that we were late and that the doctor is already running behind. I explained to her that the numbers for the address were not on the building and Waze kept telling us to go around. She then said the doctor was busy and would not be able to see us now because he's already behind there she said he was all the way till September but she could probably get us in next Monday at 4:15 PM. Doctor sounded so very busy that I canceled the appointment and I am going to see another surgeon because this is ridiculous and very rude service. read more

Dr Forrester just did bilateral turbinate reduction on me at the Oaks surgical center and I want to recommend this procedure. Even though I am a little congested which is normal at this point I am amazed that I can breathe well despite this. I work for a dentist and was worried that I couldn't breathe under my mask but amazingly I could . I did this procedure with only local anesthetic but I would recommend light sedation for most. I was not given that option until at the center but I had already driven there and didn't have a driver. I felt this procedure was simple enough to not be fully put out but the IV sedation would be good for most people. All I do for aftercare is a little salt water misting . So far so good !! First visit, great experience. This is how a doctor visit should be. I had a somewhat negative experience with my a different ENT as I'm new to the area. They got 2 stars as I was NOT happy with them being overbooked (with no warning) and a somewhat cold bedside manner from the doctor. This visit with Tri Valley Otorhinolaryngology was quite different. Not overbooked in the slightest, excellent waiting room, friendly staff, and Dr. Todd Roberts was warm, engaging, patient, obviously intelligent--and listened to my complaints and offered ideas about my condition which were insightful and thoughtful. I had several, potentially-related complaints I was concerned about and he thoughtfully addressed all of them. Tri Valley is not the most modern facility you will ever visit because they still use phones and paper, but I've come to realize that this is a hint to the culture of care there. They take their TIME with you, and they really delve into what's going on as-needed. I love that. It reminded me of doctor visits in the 70s and 80s. Sometimes if an office is TOO automated one might wonder if that efficiency is really about the money rather than the care. It's not always correlated, but Tri Valley definitely doesn't make me feel like I'm a just another number with an insurance card. For those reading this, just pretend you've gone back in time to 1974, but the doctors have all of the knowledge there is to have in 2022. You'll get all of the personalized care, but don't expect them to be modernized like other places. Think of this office as a beautiful 1974 Dodge Challenger resto-mod. Vintage and clean on the outside, modern on the inside. Accept it, Marty McFly, and the Doc will be with you shortly. "Um, can you not call me 'Shortly'?" I bring jokes. While we were planning a course of treatment, Dr. Roberts cleaned my ears with a suction device that was so much less painful than the usual probing and scraping--yielding a nice chunk of wax out of my left ear. Dr. Ben and Dr. Todd are brothers who work together, which I think is so cool. My own brother and I have worked together on many occasions and are in the same industry. Family business? Check. I count it as a positive, lending to the home-like friendly vibe but with all of the modern tech and knowledge. I'm a pretty reasonable guy and I understand that people have different personalities; but a cold bedside manner and overbooked cattle calls are not acceptable. Tri Valley is the opposite of that. That's why they get five enthusiastic stars from me. Even their office furnishings are more 'home' than 'clinical' and I appreciate all of it. I get the sense that the doctors and staff love what they do and take pride in their work and customer service. Looking forward to the follow-up appointment. My 91 year old mother was having chronic nose bleeds off and on for 3 months and Dr. Robert's knew exactly what to do for her. It's been 2 days since her office visit and so far so good. No bleeding. I'm very hopeful that there will be no more problems with this issue. read more

Drs are great. They provide excellent care for the patient. But their receptionist and staff are terrible. They never answer calls, always have difficulties getting a hold of someone. It happens everytime!!! And I know they are available to answer because everytime I am there for my appointment, there is only 1-2 people in the lobby. The staff care is annoying.
