1st AND LAST VISIT - Dr Arthur Uyesugi is a very condescending individual. I have NEVER been treated the way he treated my wife and myself. He was obnoxious, rude and treated us like we were idiots. Pretty much sayin "you don't see this? Believe me, it is there". How about taking a minute to REALLY show things to us? He was not answering any questions that I had, mind you it was MY appointment. He was dismissing my questions and only engaging (if you can call it engaging) with my wife. Why did my previous ENT DR not see any of the issues that you saw on my CT Scan from 2 years ago, which you said "they were there". Guess only he was able to correctly read the results... He wanted me to pull ALL of my back teeth out! No friggin way! I have been treated by many doctors due to the ailments that I have. NEVER, have I had this kind of treatment. It took all I had not to go back to my NY roots and curse him out! Do yourself a favor - STAY AWAY from this guy! Unless you like being mistreated... I would recommend Dr Leech. read more

I drove an hour and a half to be seen here because I really needed someone to help me get to the bottom of some issues I've been having. The experience was the best medical experience I've had in years. I wish good care wasn't so hard to find but this place is absolutely incredible and the Dr who I saw was so thorough and caring and really wants to help me figure out what's going on. Dr Arthur has got the worst bedside manner . Went in for vertigo and he asks me why am I dizzy? Well if I knew why I was dizzy I wouldn't need to come there one of the rudest doctors I've ever been to and they make you do a hearing test before you even see the doctor. read more

I have to say Dr. LEACH and his team are a very special bunch of people. Not only did I feel they cared about my ping pong size cyst/nodule that was really bothering my breathing (thankful it was benign). I had surgery done by Dr. Leached and it was a very smooth surgery as it's my 1st surgery in my life. Before surgery I was prepared on the surgery: when I went for it Dr. Leach came in and explained again the plans he had. I really liked his calmness before surgery very professional and I trusted he could do the job. After surgery I was in the amount of pain he explained and I was surprised I could talk better than when I did after surgery. I know he said I could have pain talking but it really wasn't bad. Now 2 weeks after I'm back at work and to my surprise I can breathe out my nose and hear better something that happened after the surgery. Dr Leach said thats great to hear. What a blessing to meet these men and women that do care. Thank you United team I thank God for you all and helping me back to my normal self! I'm singing again too! GOD Bless you guys! re: audiology (hearing aids) "billing dept" ***horrible*** unresponsive & ineffective in processing my claim. had to return my heading aids after 2 months of waiting for it to be processed (dec 2024-feb 2025). i received numerous bills in the meantime. erica in billing called & communicated either pay or bring devices back even though i owed nothing, ****very unprofessional****. dr. athena doss (audiologist) was great in fitting me. just be cautious & know how your insurance needs to be billed because they will not figure it out. just my experience. ****i believe they shouls reissue the ha to me and absorb the cost****. that would be excellect customer service/resolution. do the right thing. read more

Its a bit strange to me to be filling out a Yelp Review for a medical doctor, but my experience with Dr. Leach and his staff at the office was so incredible I felt I needed to do this. The office staff are efficient, and very personable. When I called with questions, or to setup an appointment, or for any other reason, I got a real person that listened to my question or concern, instead of a "robobot" thing. My appointments were always within 10 minutes of scheduled start time, which was nice. Dr. Leach himself is incredible, both very knowledgable, as well as compassionate and attentive. He made sure my questions were answered, followed up after my procedure, and explained how everything would go during it. I was a recent pt of Dr Matthew Leach. First, let me just say that I am a very mature adult (60 yrs old) who just had a tonsillectomy performed. Why did I wait so late, you ask?? Mostly out of fear. If anyone has had a consultation for a tonsillectomy as an adult, the first thing we're told is how excruciating the pain will be following the procedure. Is this a deterrent? It was for me, for years. So, 3 yrs after my first consultation with Dr Leach, I decided to just get it done. Trust me, over the years I've had many consultations, all providing the same information, but this time things were different. Dr Leach offered a procedure that he's done for several years that did not involve a total tonsillectomy, and involved leaving a small portion of the tonsil behind. Why, you ask? Well unlike many, my problem was not tonsillitis or frequent infections. I had what's known as tonsil stones. For anyone who has experienced this, it is a huge inconvenience and can be very embarrassing as it causes halitosis or bad breath no matter how hard you work to prevent it. So in my case a tonsillectomy was still warranted, but with out the aggressive method for those suffering with huge tonsils and frequent infections. The procedure Dr Leach performed caused minimal pain, no bleeding at all in my case, and very minimal discomfort with a speedy recovery time and no complications whatsoever. As far as professionalism goes both Dr Leach and his entire team (Kurt, Maryanne, and Ines, not to forget Natalie, were always polite, kind, courteous and respectful. Both Maryanne and Ines expedited my disability documents as quickly as possible, and allowed me to choose the site where I wanted my outpatient procedure to be performed. The office I might add is top notch. Always clean, minimal noise if any at all, and always professional looking, as is the waiting room. I also would like to add that my follow up appt was just as smooth and I am now able to return to work according to the expected release date, still having no complications. If you are looking for an otolaryngologist, please look no further. Dr Leach is your guy. read more

I was not pleased with United ENT, namely, one Dr. Leach. I had some scary symptoms that prompted me to seek out an ENT. Vertigo (scary enough on its own), an inability to breathe easily, what feels like severe clogging in my nose, and an impeded swallow. No really, you can audibly hear me swallow. Things just ain't right. Dr. Leach quizzed me about my symptoms but seem confused or perturbed by the word 'dizzy'. Mind, this was not a PhD dissertation. I'm a customer using regular English words which are in the common lexicon. For some reason this confused and/or annoyed him, so I described 'dizziness' in another way which was the first time I've had to do this in English. If anyone should understand the vernacular for common symptoms relating to ear, nose, and throat conditions, it should be an Otolaryngologist. The office was wildly overbooked but they clearly meant to rush me through rather than exploring my real symptoms. I've seen extras for movie crowds get more personalized attention. Dr. Leach did clean my ears and for that I'm grateful, and despite the pain (probably not his fault) he did a fine job. Very curt manner though, as if he's not a fan of people....or had other things to do. Probably had something to do with the place being way overbooked. Overall I felt like I was part of a massive cattle call. I still have the symptoms that prompted my visit and United ENT was no help but for the wax cleaning, but it doesn't take an otolaryngologist to do that. I'm never going back. read more

He presented me with various options for my condition, and we agreed on a treatment plan that suited my needs. Dr Leach is really a great find! Our trusted friend suggested him to us when we were asking around about a good ENT doctor in the area. We are extremely glad he did. Both my husband and I had nose surgery just a few weeks ago and we are both so happy we had Dr. Leach do this for us. My husband had a full rhinoplasty and I had this new innovative nose treatment called Vivaer, which is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure. We both are now able to breathe much better and, as a result, are even sleeping better now. Dr. Leach was super knowledgeable and answered every single one of my questions about getting my tonsils removed. The tonsillectomy went great and was pretty fast. I was only at the hospital for about 3 hours in total. During the recovery the office answered all our calls and were great at giving us care advice and ordering prescriptions fast. My 5-year-old daughter shoved a tiny plastic bead in her ear. We tried Urgent Care, but they were only able to try flushing it out with a tiny catheter and water, which hurt and proved unsuccessful. They tried their best, but unfortunately, it just left my daughter terrified of any doctor trying to help and we had to wait over the weekend until we could call this ENT referral. HE WAS WORTH THE WAIT!! He was so patient, gentle, friendly, and reassuring. And he was QUICK! He got that bead out without my daughter feeling a thing. Don't waste your time going to this office, very expensive and they share a hole in the wall office with a primary care physician/urgent care office. If you are an elder or high risk of COVID19, keep that in mind. United Medical Doctors of Temecula billed my insurance $325.00 for 5 minutes that Dr. Matthew Leach, MD spent with me to remove wax of my ear. That seams very excessive for removing wax. Dr. Nicolle Yopa did a hearing exam billed to my insurance $270.00. Never coming back. read more

i was sent here by my health insurance to be seen about getting a tonsillectomy, and i had an overall great experience! they got me in my appointment quickly, the initial exam was efficient and they were able to get me approved with my insurance quickly and easily, and scheduled for a surgery asap. the front desk people were all sooo kind, and Dr. Matthew Leach was sweet and attentive! the whole team made sure i knew i could reach out to them at any point, and would even joke that i could "bug them all i want" to make sure we get the surgery scheduled and done. my only complaint would be that I wish I got more face time with Dr. Leach the day of the surgery- but that was not really his fault, it was seemingly the hospital's fault rushing his talk with me. after the surgery, he called my mom and thoroughly explained everything to her for my aftercare, and reiterated that if we need anything at all that we can give him a call any time. i appreciate this surgeon and his staff- they made me very comfortable for a surgery i had been extremely nervous about! read more

Dr. Yopa has been extremely helpful and professional in providing the hearing aid solution I knew I needed. I found the whole process of finding a provider/doctor, selecting a device manufacturer, figuring out what device features I needed, and getting insurance coverage, was more complicated than expected. Dr. Yopa was the answer. She was thorough, caring, knowledgeable, works with many device manufacturers, is excellent at answering questions, and has a Doctor of Audiology degree.
