They've been a beloved business on Ocean Avenue for years. They are honest, hard working, and humble. They've done many sewing alterations for me. One for my wife to expand a jacket that was a little too snug worked out great. Stacy came up with a solution we hadn't thought of. read more

First time customer. Brought a suit and dress shirt to have dry cleaned. Noticed a stain on the white shirt when we got it back. We had to point it out. Came back two days later to pick it up. There was a second stain.. Owner claims it was a food stain. Nothing was consumed in the time we got married at city hall while the shirt was on. Let alone did we have anything to drink. The response was "sorry this was the best I could do". Oh so now my husband has to wear this shirt again. Thanks. With a permanent "food stain" that isn't a food stain. Owner did not offer refund or discount. We simply walked away and told them we'd never be back. read more

Unfortunately after coming to this location several times I have come to find out that all that glitters is not necessarily gold. I tried overlooking the frequent "black tax" I was hit with when going to this location. (Black tax is defined as a higher price that POC have to pay for due to their ethnicity). Several times I was quoted one price only to arrive and pay nearly double. Now its gotten to the point where I dropped off an item to have repaired and waited nearly a month to have it finished incorrectly and more crooked then my teeth twice. Now one of my favorite clothing items is ruined and I had the unpleasant experience of literally paying to have it ruined. Unfortunately I will never again return to this location which is a shame since it was previously my go to dry cleaners. Overall this place is now NOT a great place to go if you're of African decent. While other places may or may not be overly enthused about your business this location will take your money but not finish the job that was requested. There are a lot of other dry cleaners in The City which I would recommend going to versus coming to Miracle Cleaners. As you can see from my other reviews I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area...However! I write these reviews based on my experience so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. But always do your own research! read more

The owner is rude. After she recently took my clothes in, she told me almost a week later that she busted a part in her Italian made dry cleaning machinery and would need another week still in order to clean my clothes. When she delivered the news she didn't apologize but just said "it was too bad". My wife hates to pick up clothes at the store because the owner acts all put out, like she is doing us a big favor. She has a negative attitude and complains about everything and everybody, especially her "stupid son". I spend on average of $125 per week here and am pretty sure I am one of their top ten customers. I never have been given any discount for large volume of business and loyalty. I just found another dry cleaner on Portola Avenue that gives me 20% off if I drop my clothes before 9AM. Although it's more distant from my house, they are getting my business from now on. read more

First time customer here at miracle cleaners and I am quite upset. I picked up my dry cleaning today in a rush and didn't really look it over as it was only 1 item (Burberry Polo). Once I started packing for my trip, removing the plastic bag and cloth hanger I noticed that my polo was very distressed and discolored in areas. Will be reaching out to miracle cleaners tomorrow, hopefully coming to a solution. read more

First time using this dry cleaners and it was horrible. I had four 49er jerseys dry cleaned and my new jersey was damaged. It looked ut was just washed normally and numbers faded. The stripes on the sleeve are all cracked bad. The numbers on a different jersey were completely falling off. I take my jerseys to the dry cleaners to make sure they stay in great shape but after today I have to buy new ones. read more

I just picked up 2 dress shirts that had been washed (not dry cleaned). They wrote our last name on the collar with PERMANENT MARKER! Since they put 2 shirts together right after, one left a mark on the back of other shirt's collar (outside). We just could not believe it! I wish I checked them when I picked them up, but who would think they would write on the shirt with permanent parker??? I am bringing them back there tomorrow. Not sure what I am going to tell them to do, though. read more

This is my go-to dry cleaners. Friendly and family owned establishment that's been around for quite a long time. Diamond certified. And apparently they can also do alterations (have not confirmed yet). I've never had any issues leaving my clothes here and I'll continue to give them my business. Give them a call and see if they're right for you! read more

Miracle Cleaners took my dry cleaning virginity! Up till now, I've never taken anything to be dry cleaned because all the clothes I own are too cheap to warrant being professionally cleaned. That's still true! But I purchased a beautiful used wool coat for my mom and it was really stinky when it was delivered. I grew up in the area, and for as long as I can remember, Miracle Cleaners had almost become imprinted in my mind with its cool name and mysterious mascot. I finally got a chance to check it out for myself and I happily took the coat in to be cleaned. It cost $10.75 and took 4 -5 days. Any traces of dirt and stink were gone. Not too shabby for my first time! read more

I have 3 peacoats from forever 21 that I cherrish: Blue, Purple, Black. Since I wear them all the time, I always get stains, so I've been looking around for a good dry cleaning place to clean them. The first dry cleaners I went to was in the Lombard area, and most stains were still in on the peacoat! And it was pretty expensive. I was hoping Miracle cleaners would be different, but no: When I picked up my peacoats, the same stains were STILL there! Especially one on the sleeve where I had dropped marinara sauce. About 20% of it was gone, but the rest remained. Not only was the stain an issue, the fabric got puffy. Kind of like a poodle dog. I'm still on the hunt for a good dry cleaner place. I won't be back. read more

Other dry cleaners use iron-on bar codes to keep track of my shirts. For a while, Miracle Cleaners was attaching a small label with my name on it as an identifier, which was fine. What is not fine is that they have started using Magic Marker again on the collars of my shirts to identify them. Firstly, THAT is what the monogram is for. I don't want my shirts ruined because the Magic Marker bleeds through the fabric and shows on the outside. This drives me crazy. They do a great job getting shirts clean and folding them. They never lose or break anything. But the Magic Marker has got to go. If they can't change this policy, I am going to switch to another cleaners. I mean, join the 21st Century! read more

At risk of sounding redundant -- so often have I been to an establishment that raises my hopes high by the mere sighting of its awning ... but not today. My friends spilled *something* on drapes doing *something* we weren't supposed to be doing. This would have been all well and good, had the drapes not been ancient and dusty. With a few hours to spare, we dropped our now-pungent-odoured curtains off at the closest place possible ... and wrung our hands in wait. 16 hours later, I picked them up again, spotless and once-again-fuzzy -- a day earlier than scheduled. An extra star to the fact that the woman took "extra-special care" cleaning them and prioritised ours, because she heard us talking about how f'ed we would be if they were ruined. So, if my friend's parents notice he threw the party, at least he can say the drapes are now cleaner than they've ever been in their 20-year lifespan, thanks to these awesome people. *beer reeks hours after and smells horrible on contact ** never throw parties in a basement-turned-art studio read more

I bought a bag online and it came to my house smelling fishy. Yes, actually fishy. I'm too lazy to return things AND I thought it would be easy to get it dry cleaned. Not so. No one dry cleans bags, apparently. No one, but this wonderful place. I came in and asked so hopefully if they'd clean my bag and instead of a "NO" which I expected, I was answered with a nice "no guarantees, but yes". It took a couple days, but they were so friendly and nice. When I got my bag back it smelled CLEAN. It looked good. And people even commented :O read more

Its true what you yelpers say.. Miracle Cleaners performs Miracles!! Last week I brought a white blouse to them that had greasy tomato sauce stains on it from a fun night at Boulevard Cafe. When I got home I sprayed oxy clean on the blouse only to discover that the tag said dry clean only. Dammit! I took it to Miracle Cleaners after finding them on Yelp. They not only got the stain completely out without a trace but they also hemmed my trousers and pressed them to perfection for only $15 total. I am so happy! I love this place and will use them every time I get messy! read more

Some clothes still had stains on them, while one button up shirt somehow gathered new stains on the white sleeve? All clothes were still damp when picked up, and two of the sweaters were stretched out. Wouldn't recommend even when in a tight bind. read more

Great consistent service! Been getting my clothes cleaned and tailored here for years now and have never been disappointed.

While I don't have too many fancy clothes that require dry cleaning I've used them on occasion. They seem to be reasonably priced and have always done decent job read more

Miracle Cleaners is fanTAStic! The owner, Stacey, is very friendly and has the patience of a saint! I'm one of those people that don't make the time to take dry clean only clothes to the dry cleaners in a very timely manner! I wait til I accumulate several garments to justify the journey, probably not a good idea, because soon I have a bag(s) of clothing/coats , that when stacked altogether are the size of Rhode Island! .."I mean, REALLY MABEL, you have to take 15 coats to the dry cleaners TODAY!?" "YES, of course!" I say, in a huffy tone! (sigh) Anyway, even when I bring in 25-30 items, Stacey calmly looks thru everything, gets it all organized and processed and what not and tells me "You pick up on such and such day?!" And I'm thinking, wow!! 2 day turnaround on ALL this STUFF??? And the prices are very reasonable and unlike some unfortunate souls that go to OTHER dry cleaners, I have never had an item lost or shrunk or burned, etc... So...if you need a great dry cleaner, I highly recommend this place!!! Oh and they don't have a parking lot, it's street parking and can be dicey...you can either take your dirties over via the K-line which stops practically at the front door OR if you're driving, just park in the Walgreen's across the street for a few min while you drop off your dirty duds! BONUS** there's a really great coffee shop next to Miracle Cleaners called "Java on Ocean", grab a quick coffee on your way back to your illegally parked car! Shhhhhhh! read more

A name that begs the old tagline, "If your clothes are clean, it's a Miracle!" Otherwise, I'm very fond of the place, and they do good work and are very friendly. I'm partial to cleaners who operate their own plant onsite, which Miracle does, as things are just less likely to go wrong that way. The owners appear to be good supporters of making Ocean Ave a better place, and that alone would earn my business. read more

This is a great local business. I think they have been around for about 25 years. Stacy, the owner, is great and gets to know you after a while. Prices are decent especially for laundering shirts. I have never had anything damaged or lost, so big thumbs up. I have also used the for leather cleaning, expensive, but well done. read more

I've been in the neighborhood almost a year. It's a great wash n fold place. They have never lost or damaged anything.

i've found my only dry cleaners. excellent service, excellent price, and they take apple pay. win win win! definitely would recommend.

I take all of my stuff here, and I'm amazed at how fresh and neatly pressed it always comes out. I've had tough stains that they've always gotten out, to the point where you'd never know it was there! I suggest taking your business here, because they really do perform miracles with your clothes... read more

Dropped off my stuff to be dry cleaned at 9 am and they were ready to be picked up by 3 pm of the same day.

I saw that stack of band uniforms and the amount of business this cleaners receives and thought I would give it a shot. They cleaned my suede shirt, well they had to send it out. Whoever cleaned it did a great job. At $45.00 to clean, I will not be wearing my suede shirt too often. read more

I love this neighborhood cleaners. The owner, Stacy, is the best. She always takes time to discuss what you came in for and reminds me of the old times because she really cares about her customers. I would drive across the city to come here if I had to. I have been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else. read more

Great seamstress. I brought a pair of pants that did not fit correctly in an almost uncorrectable way. Another tailor told me it couldn't be done. It was done here in a couple of days for $12. I'm not sure how she could have done a better job or charged less. read more

I have been using them for about 6 months now. They got top marks for quality and pricing in CHECKBOOK magazine after using them I can understand why they get such high marks! Not only do they come back clean, they don't look like they were "over killed" with chemicals to clean them. I usually park in Walgreen's parking lot for the few minutes it takes me to run in and drop off or pick up. read more

Consistent quality cleaning and excellent service. Can handle urgent 24 hour service as well!

We used to go here on a regular basis because they did a good job and the prices were reasonable. But the quality has gone down since the Great Recession. Maybe they've started skimping on changing the chemicals as often to save on expenses but our clothes just don't smell as crisp and clean as they used to, and on top of that they've raised their prices. I don't like paying more for less so we've switched to a different store. read more

This cleaners does a great job, I've never had any garments come back with stains and the price is fair.

We have been taking EVERYTHING to Miracle Cleaners for at least 15 years and they are great. Everything from t-shirts with wicked grease stains to antique wool-and-gold-embroidered art nouveau table linens, alterations from simple shortening of jeans to tailoring jackets - everything comes back clean, smelling nice and well done. Bravo to Stacy and her crew! A neighborhood treasure! read more
