When ever we come visit this mall we usually stop by and browse around. We really shouldn't but here we are going back inside every single time. The store itself is pretty neat all the items they have. Many Asian items and super cute designs. They seem to have a lot of Disney items as well as Minions and other cartoon type characters. My wife is actually a fan of a few of the makeup items and it seem like they are very popular on TikTok. The place is really small though. The aisle are just to small for the crowd that it attracts. Get a couple of people in the same Aisle and its just way to crammed and you cant just easily walk past them. The workers are also strange at this store. I get that its a mall job and a lot of them look young so its probably just a part time job for them. I honestly don't ever really need help but I've seen them when they are restocking they are trying on make up, on their phones or just talking amongst them selves. Again I honestly don't care but the second you look at them they seem to look back like what are you looking at. Some are restocking and keep looking at you like you are going to steal. I get it maybe that is what they are trained to do, look out for thieves, but its just really awkward. On top of that it only seems like there is only one or two workers at the cashiers so the line gets super long and can take forever at times. Also it seems like the self check out is never working here so you are forced to just wait in line if you really want something. Food is final sale anywhere you go in the mall, it's not a surprise or something new. She was told this when she purchased as well. On top of that, it states it on the bottom of all the receipts. I think all their stuff is very cute and they have a large selection of things. I went shopping today and saw they had a color gram lip gloss for sale and the tag, which was right in front and wasn't accidentally placed there (I tried to slide it and it didn't move at all), said 5.99. So I made the purchase and unfortunately didn't hear the price when she ran it up with my other things. When I looked at the receipt, it said it was 11.99. I walked right back to the location of the item to see if I saw the wrong tag and then made my way back to the cashier. I hadn't even left the store at this point and when I asked about the price discrepancy, the cashier said they rang it up as that price and she can't do anything about it. She also said it was final sale because it was makeup but this was not even opened since I had JUST bought it. One of the best gift shops I'm glad I found while rushing through the mall to make my flight back home. I came here hoping to find gifts for my family, but also crossing my fingers to not break the bank. Everything was super affordable and I'm glad I found everyone a gift I knew they would love! Terrible exchange policies! I've even tried to contact their customer support on their website and that doesn't even seem to work, so here I am. I tried to exchange a cup for the B2 21 line and I was told that due to a one dollar redeemed discount I will not be allowed to exchange the item. Smh. I won't be shopping at Miniso until they change these ridiculous policies. I spent $200 worth of merch only to be told that the one dollar redeemed discount would make this void. Just came in to try and exchange the gloves I purchased for my dad as a Christmas present only for them to tell me no returns or exchanges after 7 days. 7 DAYS. What a lousy policy- especially considering how many ppl purchase Christmas or holiday gifts in December and could be coming back for returns or exchanges. Earlier today, my 5-year-old nephew and I visited Miniso. He unintentionally knocked over a glass candle that hadbeen placed on the edge of the shelf. I went to the front desk and informed a staff member. She followed me around to the back and got to work cleaning. She gave the all-clear and told us it was okay. Another staff member, Sophia, informed us that we had to make a payment as we were leaving. I informed her that the other employee had cleared it and it was not entirely my nephew's fault because the candle wasn't placed improperly. She was rude and didn't care. I come here faithfully with my girls. They received a Christmas present from here and I went in to exchange it or even get store credit and I told them I didn't have a gift receipt. The cashier said that they don't give gift receipts, How convenient. Long story short apparently they only have 7 days to exchange or return an item BUT you need the original receipt. It was Christmas just less than 10 days ago and people like to do their shopping in advance. Typically during this seasons, normal stores give literally 3 months to return or exchange. This was not the case. My girls got small counter humidifiers and they didn't work. What a waste of time and money. The girls at the cashier didn't give me any other options. Honestly at this point it would have been nice to at least do a blind return which would be the least value of the item in return. But not even that was done. So I walk out empty handed with 2 non working humidifiers. How fun. If you buy something here make sure it works. Apparently if they have a sale it's automatically a final sale. That's pretty ridiculous. Not to mention that the prices are not always the lowest. Yes they have a broad selection but you're stuck with what you buy pretty much. The service from employees of this store are horrible. They have a rude and IDGAF attitude. As they were restocking the Sanrio items and blocking the aisles. I witness a lady who just wanted a neck pillow next to the employee and kindly ask if she could get it. I went in with a group of my friends as we were browsing the mall and stumbled upon this store. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices of everything and their good quality. I bought an iPhone case and a mini backpack for $13! To find these same products literally anywhere else, my purchase would be upwards of $30. Everything in there is incredibly simplistic and can fit into any home. However, I was disappointed at their small collection. I had heard of MINISO as being a sort of stationery heaven (and a culmination of cute, cuddly things), but I only found a small display box with maybe three highlighters and a few pens. And a simple Instagram search in #miniso will tell you that they have far from everything (We Bare Bears collection where?). I know that they just opened up, so maybe they just have the basics for now. However, I sincerely hope that their products offered at this location expand in the future! I visited my first Miniso when I visited Santa Bárbara back in April. They have random selection of some pretty inexpensive and cool things to look at and purchase. This store just opened and I give it 3 stars because when I walked in today, someone I'm assuming was a manager (she was wearing a red Miniso shirt and the two employees there were wearing white and aprons) was berating the employees openly in he middle of the store ,with two other customers in the store, about their speed of unboxing inventory and that if they have a bad visit that it would be the end of their jobs. Interestingly enough, I didn't see any customers get greeted at all....including myself. I would be concerned about having poor customer service on a quite basic level before worrying about a box I can't see in the back room.
