I don't often go to places without pizza in the name to get pizza, but Minico's may have changed that. I ordered the Italian sub and a cheese pizza with roasted peppers. The first thing I noticed was the golden crisp of both of the doughs, with the gentlest crack with every mouthwatering bite. Once I got through the breading, the flavor of the ingredients whisked me away to the farms they came from. I could taste the fresh tomatoes with every bite of the pizza and each spice in the meat of the sub. The staff was very nice and someone came out of the kitchen to help me when he noticed the person at the register was occupied. The inside of the restaurant also had a very cozy atmosphere. One thing that I must comment on is that I originally wanted a cheese pizza but they are priced as cheese with one topping. I don't know if they add extra cheese to make up for the price of one topping but this is the first place I have seen that starts pricing with one topping instead of just cheese. I will be highly recommending this restaurant to people on their hunt for delicious pizza.

Busy Friday night, some chaos at the host stand between pick ups and dine in patrons. We were seated eventually. Ordered, drinks etc. All fine. This is the type of place I went to in high-school, folksy, local, in no way high brow or hipster with lots of young high-school aged (seemed like first jobs) wait staff. Italian wedding soup has too much egg or I'm used to other clear broth versions. Only a few meatballs so I would likely pass next time. We ordered 2 medium pizzas, and half size "uncle special" spaghetti with peppers and onions. I found it just the right size and still took some home. One pizza had a mix up (requested remove banana peppers on half because I'm the only ohioian that doesn't like them) they offered to remake, some confusion that it would come off the bill, but it didn't. But th3y brought it boxed to us so we got that pizza for free. I literally didn't care and picked off the offending banana peppers. Again, casual dining place. Large retiree crowd, it's a local family restaurant. No fuss place. Clean tables and bathrooms. A nice, not amazing Friday night dinner out.

After work I stopped in for the first time. I placed a carryout order for an Italian Sub and Italian Wedding Soup. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. I started with the soup which I thought $4.50 for a small container was quite a high price. It had quite a bit of egg and spinach and 4 little meatballs. To me it was like eating Egg Drop Soup. The Italian sub was wrapped in paper then in foil. When I opened it, it was cold. The bread had sesame seeds on top which I thought was odd and the bread was not toasted. Maybe pizza would have been a better choice and will have to stop back in to try it.

Nice little Italian restaurant. Had the Stromboli, side salad and garlic bread. All were tasty. Will come back again. Glad we found it.

They make their dough the prior day. It makes for a nice thinner crust on the pizza. The sauce was a nice flavorful sauce. The cheese on the pizza was a blend of Mozzarella, Parmesan and Provolone. On top of that some nice spices. The pepperoni was super flavorful and there was PLENTY on the pizza. It was super flavorful, I was only able to finish about half of it. I also ordered a cherry and apple pastries to take home. Oh my!! The pastries had plenty of fruit filling in them and so tasty. On to service, Lisa is definitely a superstar. Everything was done in a very timely manner. Checking with me a number of times to see if I needed refills or anything else. Even did some talking about the current restaurant businesses. Great personality. I'll definitely be back. You should check them out too.

While waiting on our food we kept noticing a lot of customers coming and going from Pasquale's and thought, they must have something good going on there . We made a mental note to try them out one day... Well that day finally arrived . We decided to give them a try for our Friday night dinner. We placed an order online for a Large pepperoni + sausage pizza. Their online portal was very user friendly, which made it easy to place an order + pay. We were advised that our order would be ready in 15 to 30 mins, and it was. We don't live very close to Pasquale's so it did require us to take the freeway to get there, however no more than a 15 minute ride. When I went inside to pick up the pizza, I noticed this place was jumpin' . It's a very small mom + pop restaurant, however it didn't stop them from having a dining room full of customers who were dining in, and about 15 staff behind the counter completing orders. I approached the counter and was pleasantly greeted by a happy, smiling young lady. I received my order and made a mad dash out the door to see how fast I could get home before this pizza turns completely cold. ‍ First impression was that this pizza smelled great! It was evenly layered with pepperoni + sausage, and just the right amount of cheese. PROS: Not overly salty; pleasant sauce, not too tangy or overbearing; this was truly a large size pizza, more than enough for two people to share. CONS: Some of the pieces were burnt on the edges; the pizza seasoning is a little too strong for our taste buds. Overall Pasquale's Pizza + Pasta has pretty decent pizza. I would definitely like to try them again to sample their pasta. Something tells me that's where I'm gonna find a hidden gem .

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

We ordered a 12 inch pepperoni and a 14 inch heritage honey. I didn't clock that the heritage honey had sausage on it, or I would have left it off. It was fine enough, just didn't add to an already pretty good pizza. The super picky pizza lovin kid enjoyed her pepperoni for sure and we were happy with ours. It's a not thin, not too thick pizza that's cut tavern/square style. I'm a traditional wedge pizza girlie so next time I'm going to ask for that. But still very good pizza with an immaculate number of epic cheese pulls. Very generous and yummy toppings. The service was pretty exceptional for quick service. Someone came around and asked if we wanted our salads first, and we did, so they brought those to us. I really loved the Greek salad--my fave Greek salad at a not-Greek spot--and husband was ok with his Caesar, tho he could live without the bacon. He just prefers a traditional Caesar. Our salad delivery also came with a napkin dispenser and thank goodness because the heritage honey pizza is messy is the best kind of way. The salads came in to go containers with lids, in a convenient style that would make walking around with a salad or taking a salad to a pedicure easy breezy. Our pizzas came to the table in the box (excellent!) and we were provided paper plates, cheese and peppers on request. The music was pop with lots and lots of Taylor Swift and by the time we left it was packed with people looking for takeout. I'm excited to try some other things.
