    A 10 inch A Pizza my Heart - - I housed it like I was in a good competition
    Patrick P.

Where My Tribe Feasted and My Heart Was Pizza'd Let me tell you about the time I walked into both entrances of Cardinal Pizza like I was on a food quest from Skyrim. One side says, "Takeout." The other says, "Dine In." I said, "Yes." I dined in like a civilized human, devouring a Pizza My Heart -- which, let's be honest, was not thick... but she had flavor, attitude, and left me with commitment issues. I'm still thinking about her. But I wasn't alone in this tale. My tribe awaited at home, hungry and dramatic. So I did what any pizza warlord would do: I brought home Meatballs and Spaghetti, Garlic Bread with Cheese, a New York-style Pepperoni & Sausage pizza, and for dessert -- a pizza-pie-apple-strudel-type-thing that defied dessert categories and tasted like cinnamon wrapped itself in a hug. Final verdict? I loved my pizza. The tribe devoured their haul like it was a deleted scene from "Vikings." No complaints. No leftovers. Just sauce-stained smiles and a solid reminder that Cardinal Pizza is the two-door gateway to happy bellies.

I love this place in uptown Westerville . I always get the NY crust with the tower toppings and it never disappoints. Bartenders are helpful and friendly . It gets crowded so you might have to wait .. but if it's on the weekend grab a Dora cup and walk around . It's a dark old bar which is part of its charm . Highly recommend stopping in .

This is my favorite pizza shop in Columbus. Why? First I love the vibe. Its a small shop and I mean right now its small and truly, I love that. However, its in the process of acquiring/modifying the space next door so it will get bigger. Im sure I will still love bigger as it eill be easier to get seating. Currently it has four tables and a bar that seats 7-8. Everything is made in house except the cauliflower crust, boneless chicken and one other thing, which I dont get, so I forgot what it is. The salads are great. The dressings are made in-house, their ranch is my favorite. The bar is fun to sit at and very comfortable. they hire great people that are always fun to talk to. They have two types of crust: NY Style and Columbus style. Both are good but I prefer the NY style. They have two sauces, spicy and regular. The spicy is amazing. The regular is sweeter than the spicy (imo) My go to here is the NY style Taylors favorite.. omit sausage on half and "a Propa-Pie, add sausage to entire pie. The pepperoni is the type that curls upward and their sausage is good sized. The mushrooms are so fresh. Yum. Thanks Mel (one of the owners) for always making us feel like regulars even tho we come in sporadically and always sending us home happy and full!

Ended up going here to grab a pizza for the Browns vs Cardinals game. Ironic, isn't it? But, unlike the Cardinals football team, this pizza is not slouch. When we pulled up, I noticed that they were Browns supporters, so I knew I was in for a treat. The cashier was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Proper Pie to go, and this pizza featured Old World Pepperoni, which is my favorite! The pizza looked and smelled phenomenal when we got into the car. My wife was not in the mood for pizza, so she ordered one of their meatball subs. When we got home, we dug in. The pizza had a thinner crust, and the flavors were amazing. The pepp was cripsy and bold! The cheese had a nice pull, and the sauce was very complimentary. I drizzled a little ranch on a slice, and it enhanced the pie even more. The crust had a nice crunch to it as well. My wife said that she enjoyed her meatball sub and the slice of pie she tried. I would give this place another go, and I would like to try another one of their specialty pizzas. The Proper Pie Pizza 1-5=4.5! Customer Service 1-5=5!

Delicious local spot. Small quant location but worth the wait for their food! Staff is friendly and pizzas are fairly quick.

Very good pizza but lacks consistency. Although they've all tasted good, it's probably been the same pie 20% of the time. Give em a try!

A handful of other people followed behind me. I informed the host I would like a table for 2 on the outside patio and we had a small dog with us. They asked if it was a service dog, which it was not. Host said they had to check. Upon their return I was informed we could not be served as only service dogs were allowed on the patio. I was a little puzzled by this as I have brought my dog to other establishments in Ohio with outdoor patios with no issue having a dog. After driving 9 hours, all my son and I wanted was a tasty meal which this restaurant looks to have. We ended up across the street at Liberty Tavern's patio with no issue having our pup with us. Per research I found: Outdoor Only: By Ohio health laws, pets are restricted to outdoor patio zones and are not permitted inside dining rooms or indoor bar areas (except certified service animals).

WOW. So I had a…read moremedical appointment up in Westerville & as usual, due to health issues, couldn't eat before it -- which means I would be hungry & cranky by the time it was over. Husband came with me, and we were trying to find a reasonably inexpensive restaurant with good food. A quick search turned up a lot of *expensive* restaurants in the Polaris area, and restaurants that we weren't into at that point, but then I saw Agape' listed right near the Ohio Health offices up there. So I did what any sane hungry person would do -- I asked the nurses & techs at Ohio Health who were involved in the procedure, "Hey, that Agape place nearby? Any good?" (seriously, medical people are going to know the good eateries nearby -- they get a ton of delivery because they're always busy & they aren't going to mess around with a crappy eating place for their lunch breaks). I got an immediate "OH HELL YEAH" and enthusiastic recommendations from not only the folks who were involved in my medical stuff, but also the desk staff, other nurses/techs, etc etc. That's an amazing sign -- a place that gets immediate "OH MY GOD YES" when you ask folks at random if it's any good. So, my medical procedure over, we went to Agape'. OH MY GOD, YES. OH HELL YEAH. First, it's a chain, but it's a LOCAL chain, founded & based here in Columbus OH with only a few locations around the city at the moment. They seem to have focused on taking over the old/defunct Chipotle locations (Chipotle's mostly gone belly-up here), and repurposing it for their Greek/Mediterannean concept. Let me be clear for the folks in the back: AGAPE' IS NOT OWNED BY CHIPOTLE & HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. They're Columbus-local, & MORE POWER TO THEM. Agape' works like Chipotle -- select your base (salad, fresh pita bread, bowl), select your protein, select your sauces/spreads, load up on the fillings, and DAMMIT GET THE GREEK FRIES, THEY'RE SO FREAKIN' AWESOME...:cough: sorry. So both Husband and I had pita gyros with various different fillings and then made the "mistake" of ordering 2 portions of Greek Fries, one for each of us. FYI, those portions are BIG. One order of Greek Fries is more than enough for two people, but who cares, we've got leftover Greek Fries in the fridge for a snack later... :cough: sorry. The food is that good. We had to wait a bit for fresh pita (but who cares? FRESH HOT PITA!!!), all the fillings & protein & THOSE FRIES were fresh, hot, tasty, filling & just go ahead and add any other complimentary adjectives here, because Agape' deserves it. They took the Chipotle concept, improved it, ran with it, and GOD, I hope they succeed & stay the course, because I have regular medical stuff up in Westerville, and I really need a good inexpensive place to eat after those appointments are done. (My only minimal gripe -- no Clintonville location. Yet. The Westerville location is about 20 minutes up the road for us; the next closest seems to be out in Gahanna. But don't rush to expand, Agape' -- expanding too fast, too soon can sink a business hard. Take your time & focus on that glorious Greek food. AND THOSE FRIES.) Oh, and the baklava was PERFECT, too. ;)

Came here to say for lunch while on a work trip, and will definitely come back! I got the pita with…read moregyro, and a side of pita and hummus, and the portions were incredible! I left full, and the taste was amazing!
