The other says, "Dine In." I said, "Yes." Service is going down hill. I've seen customers leaving due to the seating process in the dining room or lack there of I suppose. Twice now I've seen customers treated poorly. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for my order only to find out it had been in the warmer the whole time. Other customers, while I waited, received incorrect orders and a couple folks were sure to check their order because of past mistakes. Not sure what's going on but the pizza deserves better. . This is my favorite pizza shop in Columbus. Why? First I love the vibe. Its a small shop and I mean right now its small and truly, I love that. However, its in the process of acquiring/modifying the space next door so it will get bigger. Im sure I will still love bigger as it eill be easier to get seating. Currently it has four tables and a bar that seats 7-8. Everything is made in house except the cauliflower crust, boneless chicken and one other thing, which I dont get, so I forgot what it is. The salads are great. The dressings are made in-house, their ranch is my favorite. The bar is fun to sit at and very comfortable. they hire great people that are always fun to talk to. They have two types of crust: NY Style and Columbus style. Both are good but I prefer the NY style. They have two sauces, spicy and regular. The spicy is amazing. The regular is sweeter than the spicy (imo) My go to here is the NY style Taylors favorite.. omit sausage on half and "a Propa-Pie, add sausage to entire pie. The pepperoni is the type that curls upward and their sausage is good sized. The mushrooms are so fresh. Yum. Ended up going here to grab a pizza for the Browns vs Cardinals game. Ironic, isn't it? But, unlike the Cardinals football team, this pizza is not slouch. When we pulled up, I noticed that they were Browns supporters, so I knew I was in for a treat. The cashier was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Proper Pie to go, and this pizza featured Old World Pepperoni, which is my favorite! The pizza looked and smelled phenomenal when we got into the car. My wife was not in the mood for pizza, so she ordered one of their meatball subs. When we got home, we dug in. The pizza had a thinner crust, and the flavors were amazing. The pepp was cripsy and bold! The cheese had a nice pull, and the sauce was very complimentary. I drizzled a little ranch on a slice, and it enhanced the pie even more. The crust had a nice crunch to it as well. My wife said that she enjoyed her meatball sub and the slice of pie she tried. Friends recommended trying this pizza. I can honestly say it's the best in Westerville. I ordered a build your own 14 inch NY style with pepperoni, pineapple, and red onions... yes I put pineapple on 1/2 the pizza. I do appreciate that they use real pineapple. I ordered online and liked that they texted you when it was ready. The girl working was super friendly. Its a small place. I give the pizza a solid 4/5. I would come back and order the pizza. Cardinal Pizza has always been one of my favorite spots in uptown Westerville, and the food was just as amazing as always during our recent visit. However, I did want to share what happened while my family and I were there. While we were dining, I believe a delivery driver or cook became extremely aggressive--raising his voice, using profanity, and getting into arguments with the female bartender and a young employee. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone around. Ultimately, he stormed out while still swearing. Despite how stressful and unnecessary the situation was, the female bartender who I believe is named Emma, handled everything with professionalism and kept her head high. She truly did an incredible job managing something that should never have been allowed to escalate in the first place. I'm disappointed that no manager or person in charge stepped in to intervene. That said, we'll absolutely be back. We love Cardinal Pizza, and the staff who were working that night deserve a lot of credit for keeping things together during a situation completely out of their control. read more

We love cardinal pizza it is one of our favorite ones in Westerville, but the problem is even when they say your pizza will be ready in 45 minutes. It's over an hour and a half every time tonight we ordered a pizza and waited an hour and a half and called to make sure our pizza was still being made and she said oh your pizza is ready. They said they would send a text when it's ready. We live two minutes away and can be right down to pick up the pizza. She said I'm sorry we're having a problem tonight. We asked her. What problem are you having the fact that you can't get your pizza done when you tell us you're going to or the fact that you didn't text us when it was done and she hung up on us. I know their pizza always takes a little longer and it is great pizza but when you lie about when it's going to be done and you can't bother to text us when it is done, it makes me question whether I want to keep ordering from them. my husband is picking the pizza up now so we haven't tasted it yet, but I am giving them two stars for their customer service and the fact we had to wait so long. read more

YUM YUM YUM!!!! Found this place one afternoon and ordered carry out. We got a small order of medium wings which came with six (good sized wings) and were really tasty, a medium bbq chicken pizza that we loved and the buffalo chicken dip appetizer which was the best buffalo chicken dip I've had in a long time and came with chips. This will now we our regular spot! Inside was a small but loved the cozy atmosphere and there is lots of public parking around. Employees were so kind. Columbus has more of a Donatos style thin, square cut crust where the NY is your large, triangle slices you'd expect to find from a traditional pie. But the sauce... that's what makes it! A full, semi-sweet sauce that highlights the pepperoni, dos t distract or hide it. There are plenty of specials they offer on food and your favorite local OH adult beverages.
