Haven't been here in years the food tastes just how I remember amazing. The chicken tenders are well seasoned and juicy the fries are seasoned nicely as well. I got a side of garlic and cheese dipping sauce as well as cheese sauce for my fries and chicken. The Italian sub was amazing as well the staff is friendly and made my food just how I wanted it. Ordered a take out pizza while driving home through the area. Went with a house pizza, which has pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, green pepper and banana peppers. I was surprised with all the offerings besides pizza (strombolis, pasta, chicken tenders, wings, gyros, salads). Prices were pretty good -- medium pizza with the above toppings right around $15. Overall, pizza was essentially exactly what I was expecting. Nothing special, but not bad. I would eat it again, but wouldn't go out of my way to get one. read more

I wish 3.5 stars was an option. On the plus side, my BF and I both ordered a "small" stromboli and it was large enough to make two meals; and the price was right. However, it was neither here nor there. Both stromboli's lacked flavor and there wasn't enough fillings. Also, it was precut into strips -- why!? I pass this fairly often, but it's not close enough to really be an option when we get pizza from home (and we already have our favorites.) But I stopped to grab something quick on the way to work, and was impressed. I had assumed they'd have single slices or something I could grab, but nope, only whole pies. But they have lots of other options, and the guy at the counter said a gyro was the fastest to make, so I got one. And man, it was good. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but $4 for a good-sized one, packed with meat and veggies. Most are $6 for this size or smaller, and not as good. Tasty, and held together. Not messy to eat in the car (while stopped- I didn't try it while in motion.) The pizzas look and smell great. They have other stuff like stromboli, salads, wings, etc. I will try to call ahead and get a pizza sometime. Prices are good, quality is very good, service is very good. We got in late to our hotel room in Columbus, so decided to order delivery. The front desk highly recommended Pizzano's. We pulled up the menu on our phone and were able to quickly place an order and personalize it easily. Our order was delivered right to our hotel room door earlier than promised. The food was great. Hubby's Stromboli was delicious and the 10" size completely filled him up. My 6 chicken fingers were large, juicy, and came with French fries and cole slaw. Quite a nice surprise after a very long day. Great job Pizzano's! read more

We ordered pizza and stuffed shells and chicken Parmesan. Everything was delicious!! Pizza crust was soft and tasted like good old fashioned homemade crust. Toppings were adequate and right amount of cheese. Dinners were large servings and very tasty. Will order again when in the area. read more

I've been ordering from Pizzanos for over ten years, i would say it's the best pizza spot in the entirety of Columbus! They also have really good gyros with a one of a kind sauce and amazing Stromboli as well! I recommend everyone to try it out! My go to order is a lamb gyro with extra sauce and banana peppers. I've had Pizzano's a few times now. The pizza is pretty good, but not the absolute best. It's a good value, and the portions on all their stuff is plentiful. The Stromboli's are excellent, and sized great. The same with the antipasto salads. Good toppings and the large is enough for 3-4 people to have as an appetizer salad. The gyros are also good for the price, and very tasty for a pizza shop. Nothing to complain about, and it's certainly on my list of easy carry out grabs. read more

My mom and I got pizza tonight. This isn't the best pizza Ive ever had, but it isn't the worst! I only typically eat Cheese Pizza. So that is what we got here. The size of the pizzas are awesome. You get large NY Style cuts for a really good price. The pizza was nice and hot and the timeframe that was given for pick up was on point. The pizza gods are a funny lot. Occasionally they just guide you to that pizza place you just haven't gotten around to trying yet. Rain during rush hour and a standstill on 670 forced me to take the backroads home. Lo and behold, there at the corner of Cassady and Agler, I had a vision - a sign "New York Style Pizza". So, I bookmarked the place with one review (a one star, no less) and hit it up for Tuesday pizza night. I'm not sure what gas stations Craig has been eating at (sadly, this was his only review, so I'll never know), but I'd like to try them. Pizzano's tosses out a very respectable pizza. The dough is slightly thicker than most NY pies under the toppings, but has some good chewiness and flavor (no real crisp, or air pockets). The toppings were all quite good, with fresh shrooms, great peps and a sauce that hit some good sweet and tart notes, but finished with a spicy kick. Ratios were spot on. If you're in a nearby hotel, you won't be disappointed with this pizza. They are carry-out/delivery only. Oh, and the carry-out is a bit daunting as you have to ring a bell to get into the place (not real welcoming, but a sign of the location, I guess). Anyhow, Pizzano's is A-OK, I'd definitely have it again . . . now to find those gas stations Craig was talking about. read more

Being someone who regularly goes around the entire Columbus just for food places you will not be disappointed at the hospitality and what great food they have. I ordered the 10in original Stromboli through doordash tonight. I am tired of turkey. I had my taste buds set. I paid for added hamburger. Big mistake. After a couple bites I spit it out as the meat tasted rancid an old. I pulled it apart they were hardly any Pepperoni's in it it was gooey dough, stringy cold cheese oh, and rancid meat. More'n enough for one person. I had to eat half of my medium veggie and save rest for lunch tomorrow. Fornother staff who got strombolis it was the same: save rest for lunch Friday. Yay! We wondered just how fresh and hot everything would be and the fried mushrooms were a good example. It was as if they were fried in the delivery vehicle on the way over. . They were delicious. I have been getting take out delivery from Pizzano's for almost 5 years now. The food especially the pizza is my favorite. If you get more than one topping ask to have it cooked it tiny well done. I ventured off the pizza and tried the stuffed shells. They give you 5 stuffed shells w/ marinara and melted cheese on top. I thought it was very good for a take out/delivery place. They also typically deliver the food at least 15 to 20 minutes before the quote. Never a bad thing. read more

Sooooo delicious! Honestly. The Original has the perfect amount of cheese. Person who took my order was quick & efficient but very polite. I was quoted 45mins and my pizza was delivered within like 25mins. It was piping hot, yummy, melty. The delivery driver was super kind and personable. Big Fat Gyro? Big fat zero... I ordered the Pizzaono's Big Fat Gyro, which their menu describes as "Pita bread with extra gyro meat, topped with feta cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, banana peppers, black olives and our famous gyro sauce". There were plenty of toppings but hardly any gyro meat! Less meat than what should be on a mini gyro... It seems like they attempted to cover up the lack of meat with an abundance of feta cheese and black olives. Very disappointing. Based on my first (and most likely my last) experience with this establishment, I recommend going elsewhere. Shame on you, Pizzano's! read more

Horrible customer service. Who ever answered the phone was extremely rude when I questioned why their delivery driver didn't follow instructions( it was being delivered to where I work). He said I was being a bitch.. . Yes, exact wording. They also lied and said they were told by the receptionist that no one worked at my place of employment with my name... there's two of us with the same name and my instructions were detailed. My receptionist said they were never told that. Word of mouth will effect your business. You will lose a lot of business as I work a lot and my job requires me to not leave most shifts. Worst Pizza I have ever eaten. The customer service is as bad as the Pizza. I placed an order which was repeated back to me over the phone. I ordered 2 pizzas, one large cheese NY style and one specialty Pizza extra large thin crust. When I picked up the Pizzas, both were NY style. They argued they didn't hear the thin crust over the phone. As I already stated they repeated my order back before I hung up. I verified with the people in the room my order. If you like cheese, then this is the place for you. Just had my first pie from this place and I had really high expectations. The pizza got to my place, I opened he box, and all I saw was cheese. All I tasted was cheese. I would have been better off to just run to Kroger and grab a huge block of Mozzarella. No sauce...hardly any toppings...just...cheese ass far as the eye could see. Cheese ooooozing over the sides. I feel so heavy inside and can't wait until next January 1 so I can renew my resolution.
