What a darling breakfast spot in downtown Robbinsdale! This is CLEARLY a local favorite for many…read more We were in the area and wanted a quick breakfast, so stopped in. Note: this is inside Wicked Wort brewery now! It's a HUGE space, which is honestly nice because there's always seating available. Great use of shared space. Has an industrial feel to it with the exposed ceiling and dark wood elements. Service was great and helpful! Very friendly, neighborhood vibes. The barista knew most of the people ordering after us by name AND order - you can tell a lot of people come here often. Quite a large retired and elderly population came here for breakfast on the day we visited. Prices are very affordable for breakfast! We got a burrito and burrito bowl for $8-9 each. You can't get hardly anything for under $10 these days! Latte prices were more standard, but we got specialty items. These weren't our faves: the vanilla bean latte was quite sweet, and my peppermint matcha didn't taste much of peppermint (and I'm not sure they're using very good quality matcha). But our breakfast more than made up for it! Food was out quickly, and the rest of their lunch menu (and ice cream) looked great too.

I happened to be off work today, so I decided to visit this coffee shop again for a late breakfast,…read moresince I remembered that the sign on their sandwich board said they serve breakfast until 2pm! I was hungry so I decided to get the burrito bowl with sausage, and an oatmilk latte again. So good! Oh, and the price again, is a steal, for just $14.00. On the way out, I wanted to get dessert and got the cookies for 2 for $1 and a black drip coffee to go! Yummy! I LOVE this place!

There is a small parking lot on the side of the building and they had a cute sign out front. They are located on a somewhat busy street, so this could make or break some of their business. Ambiance: Inside was huge! This would be a great place to meet with a small group as they have different areas inside to sit and converse. It wasn't very busy when we were there but it was around 1 on a Tuesday. They have a bakery, ice cream counter and boba. They had a bakery case that looked really tasty, so we decided to get 3 items to share. - Lemon macaron - perfection and had a gooey chewiness. We could eat a ton of these. - Eclair - I don't think I've ever had an eclair and now I am questioning why! It was chilled and the perfect amount of filling to outside pastry. The chocolate falls off when you bite it, so eat over a napkin to not lose any pieces. - Chocolate croissant or pastry. I think it was Nutella and it was incredible! Flakey, gooey and everything you'd want it to be. I'm sure you could warm it up and it would elevate it further. Yum! We both got a fruit tea and it was a lot. Sadly, I wouldn't get again as it was too sweet and my boba tasted like ramen noodles. (It actually made me hungry for ramen). My teen got the strawberry milk tea and even said it was sickly sweet and she needed the ice to sit. Overall, I didn't love the boba... but I would recommend the pastry! They also had some decadent looking muffins and cake slices. If in the neighborhood, stop in! I think they should make a Macaron ice cream sandwich! The woman that helped us was so sweet and patient while we took forever to decide what we wanted.

What I Ordered: *Chocolate Cheesecake - 10/10....This was absolutely DEVINE! Do not pass this up! Very rich with 3 layers but pairs great with Coffee. Hard fudge like top, Chocolate Cheesecake Mousse type middle with I believe Oreo cookie base. *Chocolate Croissant & Strawberry/Cream Cheese Croissant - 8/10...Great Flavor & tasted very fresh. *Eclair - 8/10....Typical Eclair Flavor. Wish it was a little bigger Large interior with plenty of seating. Come support your neighborhood bakery & check it out.

The vibes are 11/10, but I didn't enjoy the coffee enough to justify making a trip to try it…read more I guess if you're getting a haircut next door, it makes perfect sense to move next door for a caffeine fix and chill on one of their couches. Especially since the cafe is music themed with cute coasters inspired by vinyls and the cafe itself is the ambiance of an old school studio. Service is relaxed and friendly and the drinks came out nice and pretty. My Brown Sugar Banana Latte which I got cold tasted very faintly of banana and more of brown sugar which was a little disappointing, but my partner's sweet potato latte was very enjoyable served hot. Both drinks were on the sweeter side which is fine but not my preference. Would I go back? Probably not, but I can see someone who enjoys their coffee sweet to go out of their way to Get Down Coffee.

Probably not the ideal hang out spots for groups but more so 2-3 ppl max group. Seating is tight but always able to find somewhere to sit. The Brown Sugar Banana Latte is my favorite, I almost always get that. I have tried the Blueberry Hill Iced Tea as well, which was good. My mom didn't care for the tea but she's not a tea drinker generally but she loved the Latte though and talks about it all the time now. Looking forward to stopping by again!
