Silverwood Cafe is open again! We had a nice latte after our walk through the park. Nice bites of food is offered here as well, but we were starving after the 2.5 mile hike exploring the park (and all the art).

I visited this lovely park to study with my friend. We got there around 11am on a Tuesday and it was fairly quiet. There was an artist working on his incredibly detailed painting and a couple of patrons socializing. It was a great study environment. However the closer it got to noon, the louder it got. Parents with their kids happily trotting about. The noise level was up to 'unsuitable for studying'. We decided to take a break and get some grub. I got the panini with ham, bacon, and apple butter. My friend got the bagel with egg and cream cheese. Both were just above 'meh'. It got a less loud in the afternoon into evening. It is a beautiful place. Beware of noisy kids at times. Choose study time wisely.

Lilliana gave me an outstanding experience at silver wood cafe this afternoon. Not only is she a great barista but she is also kind and always has a solution to offer. She makes every drink so well and crispens my bagel to perfect golden brown. Thank you liliana for making my silver wood cafe experience always a 100/10!

One of my all time favorite places to get a hot drink and bring friends. In the summer they are open later, but in the winter they are only open until 5. It makes it a little hard to go anytime other than weekends if you work a 9-5. They are a little popular with the area so at times it can be a little noisy, especially if there is a small group. It's also worth noting that they have reception hall in the same building, the cafe is not supposed to be used for weddings but occasionally some guests will clog up the seating a little. If you come when it's quiet, it's a fantastic spot to catch up or sit in one of the window tables and relax. Each month they have some special themed items that are typically very tasty. They'll have several limited time drinks with fun flavors and cute names along with a sandwich of the month. Even if none of these appeal to you their regular menu is still very tasty. A whole sandwich is usually $6.98 and a small drink is $2-3, but it's good to keep in mind you're supporting the use of compostables and the park around the cafe. Overall it's a tasty, endearing spot.

Cozy warm fire and child-friendly couches!

I love the cute little cafe tucked into the pavilion of this gem of a park tucked way up in Saint Anthony, just far enough away from 694 so you don't hear all the traffic noise. There's nothing fancy about what they serve, but the kids behind the counter are nice and helpful and the place has a quiet, calming aura about it. Maybe that's just the scenic views out the many windows overlooking Silver Lake or the cozy gas fireplace surrounded by comfy (child-friendly) couches. You don't swing by here for a quick caffeine fix on your way to work, you come to forget about all that and actually talk to the people sitting next to you. We don't have a Calhoun or a Harriet up the hill in Northeast, but we've got Silver Lake and the Silverwood Cafe, and that's just fine with me.

An art gallery within a nature zone, and a coffee shop too.

Nothing worthwhile here. Bring your own snack. Too pricey and weird selection. Nice park, though.

Silverwood is a great place to go for lunch. Bailey waited on me and made me a wonderful, fresh sandwich. It was like being at home.

Meanwhile the staff greets you with a kind smile that makes you feel welcomed in. I had the Ube Latte and the mixed Momo platter. The Ube Latte is well balanced between sweet Ube flavor and coffee and cream. The mixed momo platter comes with meat filled and potato filled dumplings that come with a spicy sauce for dipping. They are perfectly plump, warm and delicious and lend themselves well to a cold day. Absolutely recommend this hidden neighborhood gem if you're in the area (or even if you're not! It's worth it!)

They had a few cute items for sale, like momo merch, stickers and more. I got the black sesame latte which was strong but good. We also ordered potato and chive momos and they were decent. I think it could have used a bit more flavor, a bit starchy tasting. But the soy sauce helps a tiny bit. Would for sure come back to check out more. I was a bit shocked that they had to put signs on some of the lower tables for people to not put their feet on them. In a cafe/food establishment that should be common sense but I definitely get it. As it was busy it was a bit loud but I really like the vibes and aesthetic of this cafe!

It says drive thru, but there was nobody serving at the drive thru when we tried to go there. There is some indoor seating, maybe 10 tables or so. It was not super busy when we were there, but it was after what I would consider the Sunday rush. Service was quick and polite. Iced Cold press with heavy cream (you could also have it with half and half) - very good, good coffee flavor Hot Vanilla latte - they only had three sugar-free options, caramel, raspberry, and one other I can't remember, so I went with regular Vanilla. It was very good. The first couple of sips were very sweet, I think because they didn't mix it well so all of the vanilla syrup was sitting on top. Once I got it mixed in it was much better. The temperature was good, it was quite hot, but not so much that it burned my mouth. Overall a good experience, we will be back. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the drive thru wasn't open.

Parking available in the shared business lot out front, but it was VERY busy on this Sunday afternoon! The interior of this spot is one for the senses: colorful walls, random knick knacks, plants, and plenty of coffee-sipping patrons. While it was a LOT of stimulation, I loved every bit of it. I was so happy to see so much support for this local spot! The servers were so friendly and helpful during my order and pick up process! Incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly. I HAD to go with the Go Bananas option on my iced latte, their proprietary blend of banana, vanilla, and hazelnut that leaves you with the most beautiful flavor! I also appreciated that they have a layered iced latte option...with the shot on top! This spot definitely is one of my favorite hidden gems from the last few years, and might crack into the top five coffee spots in the Cities for me! A MUST VISIT!
