This is by far the most affordable store we've been to. Their plants are aged 15 years and very sturdy. The shop owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up taking a Chinese elm home but we intend to come back to get the Buddha palm which she said the two together are good feng shui. Highly recommend! Please come here to give her all your money, it's best to support small mom and pop stores especially those ran by old Asian people who should get to enjoy old age!

Remember to ask for watering and other important instructions. The lady is super nice and prices are very fair. Support your local business! Look for Ju & Wei boba and they are to the left - it's about 15 feet from the famous Yang Chow restaurant and across from Bank of America. There are 2 different plant stores right next to each other so you have your pick! I have one photo that I took a while ago. The photos in the yelp account do not match their storefront because it has tons of plants.

I bought some new ceramic pots/vases from them that they sourced from local artists. Jimmy and his staff did an amazing job repotting. They answered all my questions and coached me in how to take care of them (watering schedule, sunlight, etc.) Fast forward a few weeks later and my plants are all thriving now. Would highly recommend!

**OK INDOOR HOUSE PLANT SELECTIONS IN CHINATOWN**…read more After eating at nearby Broadway Cuisine, we wandered into this garden shop while exploring the area. PARKING There are nearby lots, but we had street metered parking. Most likely limited, especially on weekends. AMBIANCE A typical Broadway storefront in the heart of Chinatown. The space is airy and bright, with natural light filtering in from above. PLANTS I purchased a 12" watermelon peperomia for $40. They didn't have the fiddle-leaf fig I was hoping to find. Credit cards are accepted. The overall plant selection is decent, and everything looked healthy. OVERALL The staff was pleasant but hands-off, not informative unless you ask. I didn't receive care instructions until I was practically out the door. Pricing leans medium-high (but reasonable), so this isn't a budget-friendly stop, but the quality is solid, and it's nice to support a local, family-owned business.

Substandard design and substandard installation…read more I contacted Standard Design Group to replace the 3/4" crushed rock that had washed away from my parking strip. I was thinking of using epoxy-stabilized gravel. I had other matching rock in the front yard. I expected to use something smaller per the epoxy maker's recommendations. Alan, Standard Design Group's designer, recommended using 3/4" crushed rock so it would match the pathway through the center of the front yard. This was terrible advice. Epoxy-coated rock is much darker than uncoated rock, so matching the size was irrelevant. The epoxy-coated 3/4" rock has enormous spaces between the rocks that trap trash and leaves and allow weeds, wildflowers, and the neighboring palm trees to germinate in them. Weeding the porous structure is very difficult. Pulling the wildflowers has broken loose large chunks of the epoxy-coated rock. Small chunks and individual rocks are breaking free from foot traffic. Alan never visited the site. He underestimated the amount of epoxy required. The installation crew's foreman was going to leave patches of the rock uncoated. When I saw it and told him that it was not what I expected, he had the workers mix some of the already coated and curing rock with the dusty, uncoated rock. This resulted in weak bonding with even larger spaces between the rocks. There were still uncoated patches left. I contacted Standard Design Group by email after the installation and again after chunks of rock began breaking free. I did not receive a response.
