    Plant selection

Good selection and variety of plants. Different than what you would see at a regular plant store, they have some rare plants lol. They also have cute clothes that are garden themed. Service was great they even potted my tree for me. Definitely worth it if you want a nice unique plant for your home.

This place has so many great selection of plants. I'd seen many banana plants, bamboo, money plants, etc. I really liked their custom made planters too. The staff are very nice and helpful. If you are looking for cheap rates, parking garage is available at the blossom building.

Most recent plant i purchased .

My favorite plant shop. Great selection of plants . And good vibes . Highly recommend.

Wow look at their new shop!! They have a larger selection of plants now . AND LOTS OF OTHER GOODS: they got crystals, incense holders (the kind that creates a mist waterfall- gorgeous!), wood carvings, lots of new pots, tabletop waterfalls. & the duo is still there to help customers! (They have grandma that helps them out in front of the store too). Parking can be tough, the lot nearest to them is a bit pricey but perhaps you can find street/ meter parking -just make sure you read the signs!

My plant-obsessed friends wanted me to find a decent plant shop for our LA weekend trip. The reviews on Yelp did not disappoint. We came in on a Sunday morning around 11am. Plants: The plants looked healthy and well taken care of. The leaves appeared vibrant and nourished. Plenty of varieties to choose from. The prices were very affordable which is why we ended up taking home multiple pots. Service: The employees were welcoming and accommodating. My friends used Venmo for payment. Parking: An open parking lot on the corner of N Spring St. and Alpine St. to the side of the shop for $4 and parking meters to the front of the shop. Highly recommend!

ok i kept hearing about this place from friends who would have super thriving plants. i even saw a friend on ig have a party and give plants away to her guests, they were from kim thai. i knew i would visit one day but was walking around chinatown and saw them! you know i stopped. it was right off the street, easy to see, easy to stroll around (not easy to park but that's fine). the plants there are THRIVING. they are sold outside and inside but i spent most my time outside. got a rare string of hearts, vines and monsteras i needed. so happy with them as expected. AND the merchant was so kind and had a great conversation with me. it was such a great surprise to finally visit kim thai garden. and best part were the prices. best local vendor to get your plants from. (attached are photos of my plants from kim thai after i took them home). - @losangeles4everybody

KimThai is my favorite nursery in the Los Angeles area. They have a great selection and that makes it difficult for me to choose plants. I have to remember to pace myself because I'm a newbie plant mom and still learning not to kill plants on a regular basis. Jimmy was really helpful each time I visited and was able to describe each plant I was interested in, from the name of the plants down to their temperaments and recommended watering schedules. Their prices are very reasonable. They have different price points and of varying sizes so you can select plants based on your budget. They can also pot the plant for you when you purchase a pot from them. This is a definite spot for you to check out if you are an expert or novice to the plant community.

They have a great (and frequently changing!) selection of common and rarer plants at very reasonable prices and super friendly service! Pro-tip: bring your pots with you to make sure you don't buy plants that are too big for the pot and they'll pot it for you for free

Tucked in the Central Plaza, which was opened and dedicated the same year Sincere opened, you can find it across from the fountain where people throw their pocket change, aiming for the receptacles labeled "Wealth," "Health," and "Luck." Tourists love Sincere for the shopping, perusing their stock of fans, lanterns, figurines, porcelain, hats, and other knickknacks after they bang on the gongs at the front entrance for "Good Luck" and "Money" and rub the giant Buddha statue's well-worn belly that greeted them as they entered. I dig Sincere for the things hanging above the shelving -- ceremonial dragon and lion heads, giant Peking opera masks, and massive lanterns -- and the nice people who own the place. It's one of the few shops left that embodies the old spirit of Chinatown.

I made small talk with some people and this very kind older gentleman approached me to talk to me for a bit. If you're not a photo booth nerd you might not know that these are EXTREMELY RARE nowadays. There are probably less than ten of them in the US out for the public to use (maybe even fewer than that!) Anyhow Michael is a great guy and super friendly. Helpful and enthusiastic he invited me to some live bands playing there later in the day too so there's a lot more that must go on here aside from the furniture, photobooths and pinball. Definitely gonna be a regular stop of mine every time I am in LA!
