I called to see if they had a very specific plant. They said they had some in stock. I asked them to double check because it was a 45min drive each way for me. When I got there, they had none of what I called about. They didn't even apologize. They just said "no, we don't have it. I'm not sure why you were told we do." Such a waste of time and gas. read more

At first, you are impressed with the selection. Then you spend more than you want for a plant that almost immediately is covered with white flies. Tried everything to get rid of them but now have a dead ficus tree. After reading the reviews I should not have shopped here. read more

I will not be going back. I took two plants that I had purchased two weeks earlier and Ramon proceeded to admonish me for not watering them in front of many customers. He insisted that I had not watered them even though I had. There was a rain event earlier in the week as well. I felt like he enjoyed displaying his "superior" knowledge by announcing that the nursery was 100 years old. I'm pretty old myself and don't need to be talked down to like that. They have a nice selection of plants, but service gets a one. There are other nurseries all over Pasadena, that treat their customers with respect. read more

I love how this nursery has such unique finds. They have a small waterfall area surrounded by plants! Check out their large succulent area. Lots of succulents that you normally wouldn't see at other nurseries. I found a variegated bear paw here. They are complying with covid regulations by having all staff and customers wear masks, social distancing and cashless transactions. read more

I will never shop at Lincoln Nursery again. I have been going for years, and occasionally a few vegetable plants didn't make it. This time I bought 3 hedges for almost $300, and put them in the ground. The first one died with a week. The second one two weeks later and the third one died just this week. I left a message for the owner who never got back to me. Then I called and finally got him on the phone and he said there was nothing he would do. He doesn't guarantee his plants or trees. The rest of my garden looks beautiful, except for his dead hedges. read more

We found them a few days ago and we have been back twice already to take advantage of ongoing sale . The sale ended Oct. 5 It looks like this is a family owned nursery. I like that. It's good to support small businesses. (as long as they value your business.) We have a small backyard project and we had questions about which plant can go here and there. I love this place! I initially began coming here with my toddler during Covid as a means of getting out without being indoors with others. He loved to run around and hide, and we were always greeted with a smile. Fast forward to 2024, he still loves coming with me, and we are still bonding over building upon and improving our little backyard farm. I went in to buy a specific plant and the stock on hand was less than desirable. Especially at the very premium price they were charging. I asked the woman at the counter when they would be getting new stock. She said it would be possibly a couple of weeks and OFFERED to notify me when new stock arrived and took my name, number and the specific plant . It has been four (4) months and I have never heard a word from them. Pity, they have some interesting plants but I won't be back as they obviously do not care about my business and there are several similar nurseries nearby. read more

Drove by this nursery and decided to check it out! Since covid, I've really been into plants and thought this place was super cute. It's located within the neighborhood and I was surprised at how big it was. There's many selections from indoor plants, outdoor trees, and beautiful wreaths. Lovely place located in a residential neighborhood. It's much bigger than I expected with a large variety of plants. Everything I saw was healthy, well organized and wheelchair accessible (which I don't see too often for a nursery). Unless it was in another building and I missed it, I didn't see too many indoor plants, which is what I was looking for...but still a great place to wander around. They also had lots of pots and some garden supplies. I saw lots of employees tending to the plants and grounds. A little pricier than some places but you know you're getting some healthy, well cared for plants. read more

Lincoln Avenue Nursery is probably the nicest nursery in the city. They have true specimens. Some of the stuff here, I've never seen anywhere else. And if you like formal gardens, you will love it here. They have tons of boxwood, Monrovia topiaries, spirals, pyramids and balls. The guys know their stuff, too... and they're nice. Love this nursery! Such a great variety of plants. They have an awesome selection of tomato plants when in season too. Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends but weekdays it's never an issue. Came across (happy to say I did) Lincoln Avenue as my wife and i were headed home from John Muir HS. What a surprise. Could hang out there for hours. All the ideas. I also recvd what I found to be expert input in a few queries i had. All answered. From soup to nuts. Is a 22 minute drive up and back for me. Small price to pay for getting what you want. Only my third time there. Was treated with courtesy, answering all my questions for this rookie to gardening. "You bet I'll be back"! Hopefully will have small tours of the nursery as and when things open up. Great spot just to spend time. Stop through if out that way enjoying your day. This will not disappoint. Anyways, Lincoln Ave Nursery is my stop for all my growing needs. I highly recommend giving them a stop through. Going to purchase a Palo Verde next time there. read more

Love this little neighborhood nursery. They have everything you could possibly want and more. They have unusual plants that you would never find at Home Depot. Getting my fix taken care of! I am an avid succulent and container gardener. Part of that is using Talavera pottery for some of my gardening. Lincoln Nursery has some gorgeous choices in the succulent department as well as an abundance of Talavera pottery. They also have a good supply of Tillandsia, which I am going to investigate next. The people there are very helpful and informative and I always have plenty of help to load my huge purchases into my car. read more

Felt a bit discriminated against here when I visited this nursery. I saw a tall white man with long hair greet a white women looking at plants asking if she needed help, with lots of enthusiasm. I started walking his direction soon after that instance and he barely made eye contact with me. I ended up initiating a greet to him and said hello, and I can tell he felt like he HAD to say hi back and ask me if I needed help (which he did, but not without noticeable hesitation). However, the guy that helped me at the cash register was very kind and friendly. All in all, please treat your customers fairly, no matter what skin color. I came here specifically to look at the succulents and thought there was a very wide selection! The prices also felt reasonable, and a lot of the pots were very full compared to some other nurseries that I've been to in the area. I also really loved the selection of terra cotta pots they had! They also have a range of different sized ceramic pots and dishes too. I didn't get to look at the rest of the plants they had, particularly the indoor ones, but definitely would like to come back to check those out! read more
