The drinks were good and the bartender was super cool. And a plus for the taco truck being outside :)

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

Her customer service skills were absolutely superior from start to finish. Handling a group that size is not easy, but she moved effortlessly the entire night and never once seemed overwhelmed. Katie was personable, upbeat, attentive, and had an incredible personality that made the whole experience even better. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, drinks stayed full, orders were right, and the atmosphere stayed fun and relaxed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. This was my third or fourth visit here, and all of the waitresses have always been awesome, but this was my first experience with Katie--and in my opinion, she is the gold standard of customer service. She turned a good dinner into a memorable experience. If you visit Falcon's Lair, I highly recommend asking for Katie. She's the kind of employee every restaurant wishes they had!

The vibe was super chill and inviting, especially with the live music playing. It created such a relaxed, fun atmosphere where we could just unwind and keep enjoying our time together. We ended up sharing a pizza, which was actually really good, and paired it with dessert cocktails that hit the spot. Everything felt easy and enjoyable, not rushed at all. The staff was really nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The inside has a modern feel to it very clean, stylish, and just a really comfortable space to hang out. What I loved most was the overall energy of the place it felt like a great mix of cozy and lively at the same time. Perfect for winding down, catching up, and just enjoying the moment. Definitely a place I'd come back to for a relaxed night out with good music, drinks, and bites

There are a few restaurants that share the parking so there is very limited parking. We had to go around twice to find a parking spot. We had reservations and were sat promptly. They had live music playing in the background, which is nice. We couldn't see it so I didn't know where they were at. It is designed in a circular way where the bar is in the middle so you cannot see across. We were greeted by our server and he was very attentive. He gave us some great recommendations and he was very pleasant. We started with the fig bruschetta and that was a 10 out of 10. It had little bacon bits on top which added a layer of flavor. We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .

Very disappointing experience when we came for a friend's birthday. Looking at the pics this place appears to be a very cute speakeasy and when you enter you find that to be true. They have a few cocktails that are pretty creative like my favorite, their clarified fruity pebbles cocktail. We all got cocktails and only about 1/2 of the drinks were really appreciated. Anyway, what held them back here was definitely the food. I'll start off by saying that yes we had a light dinner of sushi prior to making our way over. So keeping that in mind, we still had the idea of getting some small bites. We didn't want to over commit so we started with what I believe was the Grilled Peach Burrata. Now if we are going purely off flavors, it wasn't bad and it was a cute pairing of ingredients for what sounded like a great bite. On first bite we found this to be a horrendous dish. At first we thought, there's no way the bread was really THAT stale and hard. We thought there's no way that it could be every single piece that was that inedible. We were sorely mistaken. When I tell you that little crostini was hard and stale I'm telling you this thing was so terribly stale that we immediately thought of how disappointed we were in coming here and that we would NEVER consider coming back again. As for the service we remember it being a tad underwhelming as well but not terrible. The only thing that in my mind keeps me from rating them a 1, and I don't do that almost ever, is that my cocktail was just my style. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy but I also love the cute, creative and sweet cocktails as well. This fruity pebbles cocktail also came topped with sort of a Rice Krispie style fruity pebbles treat that I absolutely loved. After ordering a 2nd one however I found that they are not very consistent with their drink preparations as the 2nd one just wasn't as good. The ratio of whatever they put in there just seemed off. I'll finish off by saying that I so desperately wanted this place to be good. Was it an off night? Is this just their level of execution? Who is to say. Maybe one day I'll feel inclined to give them another chance but who knows. I have also heard that they did a lot of revamping so maybe things are looking up now.
