I like spice and this is why I selected the curry chicken. (it has the pepper symbol next to it on the menu). At other small town Chinese restaurants that symbol is meaningless but this dish had a nice amount of heat without being overbearing. The vegetable were perfect - sautéed but crisp. Truth be told, my lunch could easily have fed two or made for a nice leftover meal but I was greedy. The app suggested a preparation time of 25 minutes which I gave and my meal was ready but hot upon arrival. I will be ordering again. If you are driving through Columbia, it is worth the stop.

But enough yelpish poetic nonesense. Ordered ala carte. The chicken and broccoli was pretty damn good. It was not oily as I feared and wasn't fried to oblivion. It was perfect. The sad thing is I saw a group abuse the system, paying for buffet, making a complaint that the buffet was cold and made the lady make 3 Ala carte dishes for buffet prices. Don't be that guy. God is watching.

(The menu doesn't indicate the gf bun but they have them.) The burger was Delicious! (best I've had in a long time) and the bun was one of the best gf buns I've had. It was soft, not dry, held together well. The fries were good too, and they have their own dedicated fryer. On top of that, the staff is nice; and they have a few boardgames for people to play on a shelf near the bathrooms. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

There is a way better atmosphere in this room than the others. The waitress was great. Very attentive and has good recommendations. We started with the crab dip, which was phenomenal. I got the French quarter chicken and shrimp pasta, and my daughter got something that was a pesto based sauce. I liked my dish, but my daughter truly disliked hers. She barely touched it so we brought it home and my husband ate the rest and he also disliked it.

We always get the same order, well I do at least because I absolutely love their chicken salad, I always ask for extra. I do love their fries over their sweet potato fries. I just feel like their sweet potato fries could be crispier. Their grilled cheese, burgers, salads, and everything else we have tried have been good. I can't remember a bad meal here. Service is good but they are busy, so sometimes I feel like staff can be short. Our server was a young gentlemen this time and he was very kind, thorough, and checked in on us the appropriate amount of times. The establishment itself is very farmhouse pub vibes, they offer single room bathrooms for men and women and they're always clean. They also have outdoor seating for those nice warmer days. This place stays packed for a reason.

Evidently they change themes pretty often along with their seasonal menu. I got stuffed gnocchi and my friend got shrimp linguine that were on the seasonal menu and they were both made from scratch and tasted like it. I can't say enough about how fabulous the food was! We also got cute cocktails with lavender which were also very well made and in a copper cup which I love. My friend got the tiramisu which was scratch made and a giant piece at 6"x6". I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to see what the next theme will be!

I even opened the kitchen door and nobody would listen to me when I told them they had people waiting And they acted like I was lying. She said nobody was here even though I just left. Actually argued with me about it told me I had called the wrong restaurant, which I most definitely did not. Update ‐ i was contacted by them and Apparently it was only 3 or 4 minutes (the second time I came to the line I guess) according to the video. I guess they had no proof of the several minutes I was in the restroom and then the time it took my husband to go out and move the car and come back in to me waiting. Also the woman on the phone basically told me I called the wrong restaurant which I did not. I was and do not want a free meal that is not what this review about. The restaurant was dead. There is no excuse for us or the gentleman that was in front of us to wait when I literally opened the restaurant kitchen door and they were looking in my direction. You know I dont work there when you saw me staring in so there should of been SOMEONE come out. Even if I was told sorry we are short handed be right there. I would of been super ok with that. I guess they were talking so much they didnt hear or care ‍

Cons: - dry and tasteless whole pig (pulled pork) - numerous items were sold out (turkey, burnt ends, and the peach glazed burnt ends) within 2.5 hours of opening, yet they remained on the digital menu screen. - tight parking spaces. If you have a full size truck or suv, you might have a tough time. Recommendations: - increase the quantity of specialty items made on a given day - the sauces were meh. - update the menu to reflect what is currently available. We waited in line 15 minutes and had everything picked out to order. When we got to the counter to order, that is when we were notified what was sold out. This delays the line because all patrons then have to look and decide on what to get instead.
