I enjoy the food. For sure the best i have tasted in the area. Sauce on the food is slightly thick and blends well.

Clean Place. Friendly staff. Basic Take-out Chinese. Definitely the best for the area.

Great Wall II Take Out Chinese Restaurant - 非常好的中餐厅!老板也很友好!孩子们都很喜欢!

We did takeout from Great Wall II in Pawling for the first time today. We ordered a lot of food,…read moreincluding dim sum, fried dumplings, roast pork lo mein, roast pork fried rice, beef and snowpeas, chicken and chinese vegetables, General Tso's chicken and hot and sour soup! And we're really happy!! Don't let the outside appearance disway you! We walked inside to see Grandma and grandson working together to devein/clean a huge pile of fresh snow peas, and were greated by a lovely woman who took our order. The servings were generous. The sauces were deep and delicious in flavor. All of the vegetables were FRESH and not frozen. Dim Sum and meat dumplings were good....nothing super dooper about them, but delicious. The lo mein featured noodles that were a bit thinner than we were used to seeing, but it was well flavored and the noodles weren't overcooked. The chicken and vegetables was wonderful...chock full of nice big pieces of white meat chicken along with baby corn, carrots, bamboo, chestnuts, and snow peas. The beef and snowpeas also had other vegetables with it and the meat melted in your mouth. My husband is a real hot and sour soup nut -- and he's in HEAVEN! Says it's the best hot 'n sour soup he's EVER had....and he's 65!! Now, The General Tso's chicken - something I'm very picky about. It was a bit sweeter than some I've had, but did have a nice little afterburn. The coating was not as crunchy as I like, but at least it wasn't mushy like I've had it elsewhere. I would give it a b+. Accompanying brown rice (requested) was fluffy and freshly prepared, which was a nice surprise! AND...SHE GAVE US 2 FREE LITERS OF SODA/TEA OF OUR CHOOSING! And fortune cookies, sauces, etc. We would definitely recommend this place again!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Greate Taste Fusion - Wonton soup

This small, quaint restaurant is in the nice, active New Milford downtown. We enjoyed the area when…read morewe parked and walked a little to the place. The lady at the counter was friendly and talked well with us. I order Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, with fried rice and an egg roll. The garlic sauce just hit the spot. Fried rice was pretty good as well. So was the beef with garlic sauce dish. When we asked "Can I have some hot sauce?", she said "You will find it pretty spicy already" and smiled. On leaving, she asked if it was and I agreed with her - it was spicy enough. Small place to sit and eat, but the experience was nice. We saw a family with young children enjoy Shumai or Wontons - sounds like a good idea for next time.

Oh no! No, no, no! Per my review back in June, I decided to go back, revisit and see where things…read morestood today. My FINAL visit was today! I ordered from the lunch menu, was charged the dinner price (almost $4 more according to their menu) and then waited an astronomically long time. In fact, only one person had come in to pick-up while I was waiting, AND while there were 4-people working behind the counter! So as I've stated in the past, nothing has changed here: 1. Very rude and unfriendly woman at the counter, 2. You're charged whatever she 'thinks' you'll pay (prices regularly fluctuate, and a lot), and 3. Regardless as to how many people are working in the back, you will wait, and a long time, for your order. Note to the woman at the counter - if you take all of the plants for-sale out of the front window, people on the sidewalk may actually be aware it's a Chinese restaurant and NOT a floral shop! Any time I mention this place to someone, not ONE single person knows the name or place!
