This is my go to Chinese takeout place since I moved to Carmel. I absolutely love their cold noodles in sesame sauce - something about it just cannot be compared or replicated by any other place. Same with their wonton soup - the broth just has a deep rich flavor that I've not found in other places. I'm also a huge fan of their eggplant in garlic sauce! I went on line to order food, their menu was 6 years old, had no idea...... I came up with one price and when I went to pick up it was double the price..... are you kidding... I called them and they were like oh well, wrong menu... how about updating your web page???? So when I added up the new prices they still over charged me!!! I was recommended to try this place as the "best Chinese food" around. Our first try was mostly good. The eggs rolls were under filled and then there was an excess of oil in them. Oil was dripping out and you could see it in the space where it was under filled. We did notice a pepper taste on all of our food even dishes that didn't have peppers. I just gave this place a second try and the egg roll situation was the same. My husband couldn't even finish eating his b/c it has so much oil in it. Pretty sure that I won't return b/c of under filled and excessively oily egg rolls. read more

Man this is the best Chinese food in town. Pork fried rice is bomb! Shrimp Chop Suey is SO delicious! Lo Mein (any kind) so yummy! Eggrolls-- just order a batch because once you have one, you'll want 30 more. The only thing I was so so about was the bok choy. This is no longer a sit down restaurant. The prices are very high for a lunch menu and worse, the food is not edible. I ordered chicken with vegetables. The chicken was over cooked, some pieces had small bones in it. The veggies were mainly cauliflower and broccoli and under cooked. The side of pork fried rice tasted rancid. The oil tasted old and reused; it was not edible. The spring roll smelled and one bite tasted the same rancid oil. I basically threw the entire meal in the garbage. Shame, they use to be really good a few years ago. They should be closed down. read more

What happened?!!! This place has taken a nose dive. Ordered a Shrimp Lo Mein entree and got a container with 3/4 plain rice and a appetizer size of greasy lo mein placed on TOP of the rice for $12.25. They won't "trick" me again, they've lost my business. read more

This restaurant was never great, but they had some unique items that were fairly good. They really changed a lot after re-opening last year. They were closed for about 6 weeks and while I can understand that they may have been affected financially, they raised all their prices on the menu by 20-25% and the quality of the food didn't improve one bit. This is by far the best Chinese food in our area, in my opinion. Everything is always extremely fresh (go ahead and order the shrimp), and they have good portion sizes. The staff is very nice and friendly, and currently during covid they have a pick-up window system to limit contact which is always appreciated. I went here because I was hungry and needed a place to eat. By looking at it, it seemed like a liked place. I was really hungry so eat on the go I had chicken wings, egg rolls, egg drop soup and wonton soup. $40. All of it, except for the wings, and soup were not edible and taste rotten. Got take out tonight from New Grace. The best. We never had a bad meal. The food is fresh. The staff friendly. Portions big. We go nowhere else for our Chinese food. If I could I would give them 10 stars. When they say 15 minutes they mean it. If you walk in and order we never had a problem. Of course, if they're busy, which they are because the food is so good, you can understand if you have a little bit of a longer wait. Love them. read more

The best Chinese restaurant been there since I was young food is amazing and tasty every time I have never had a bad meal. Treated like family upon every visit and I appreciate that. Very very kind family run restaurant. Especially during this pandemic people avoiding chinese cuisine, I trust them with my food preparation and never would think twice at this location. I'm picky when it comes to Chinese food, so I write this review with some bias. The prices are decent and the restaurant is pretty clean, but man, my food was gross. I had the sesame chicken and it was soggy. The sauce had the consistency of a rubbery bbq sauce with no flavor. The rice was bland and even the fried won tons we ordered were rubbery. A few of my friends really like this place but I don't know. I've had better in worse places. read more

Clean restaurant with friendly service and average to slightly-high prices. Unfortunately, the food is lacking. The egg roll was overcooked and the rice was not very good. They accommodated my request for general tso's with white meat (slight upcharge), but it was bland. I should have waited until I got closer to home, multiple better Chinese spots. read more

I have gone to new Grace several times in the past and was always satisfied this past week I placed a nice order including dumplings and three entrees and I have never been so disappointed. The dumplings were small and Soggy all three entrees were gelatinous and tasteless. All three dishes including chicken they all use chicken thighs which included a lot of gristle and a lot of hard pieces including bone and cartilage after really liking this place over all other places in Carmel I'm going to have to rethink my choice read more
