She said she worked there but the keys were being brought to her. We both waited and when my husband came up I said "she said she worked here but she's waiting for keys". After that, she got up and moved further away from me. I walked up to her and asked if it would be long and she said "it will be here soon". I had something large to return and I couldn't carry it long distances because of my back and neck, but I didn't want to waste my time standing around so I asked if she would watch the item so I could take my kids around but she said "I can't take responsibility for it" really? You're on the clock and being paid as you sit here. Finally someone came closer to 11:20, someone came to unlock the door. She did the return but prior she had asked if I had the box. The original lady stated that I would only need the pillows and bolsters. She seemed annoyed but then abruptly said "ok you're all done" I didn't feel comfortable so I said "do I get a receipt or email?" Nothing had come through at that point so I said I wanted to take a picture of the iPad she was working on and she gave me such attitude and sass with a deep sigh. I wish I had a better experience or that Emma seemed more apologetic rather than I was a nuisance. I will never come back to this location!

I really don't understand all of the one star reviews about customer service because I've yet to have a bad experience. Honestly I've never particularly liked going to furniture stores in general, but Bothell Furniture is warm and inviting. I love that someone always recognizes me when I walk in and the staff is always friendly and helpful. When I ordered the small bookshelf today, the sales associate recognized me and was able to look up my last order. They're having a sale, but the prices had gone up from last year. However she said she would give me the same pricing as before. My condo looks so much more inviting with the furniture I've bought from Bothell Furniture.

I was greeted by a nice friendly man who gave me some info about the place and pointed out that the majority of the items are in the back rooms. This place is deceptively large. It's a bit messy in the back but there is a little bit of everything here. He also told me some items were new and didn't have prices on them but to ask if I wanted to know. I'd rather have items labeled so I can see if it's a good deal or not. I hate to ask each time I look at an item. Overall, it's a small business in a sus part of Seattle that frankly needs some more legitimate businesses. I even found a cool little Squidward stuffie that I purchased. I'll be back one day to check it out again.

As you walk through the store there is a room which often has 90's jams on. This room has more clothing and on the left side there are kids toys and sometimes bikes. It does feel like an estate sale/goodwill outlet vibe as some things are organized but also kinda random. The layout reminds me of a flea market in an another country. Unlike Out of the Closet and Lifelong in which you know the exact price of a record or a vintage binocular here you have to ask. I think this is part of the thrill of the search but also asking yourself how much you want to pay for this. Service is good and staff are chill and laid back. If you're around Lake city I would encourage stopping in. It's a nice refresher from the dated xxx shop next door, drug deals happening outside, and fentanyl slumps you see.
