After deciding to remove our pool, we hired Aaron as the installer for our new landscape project, and we are so glad we did. For months, work was moving forward almost every day, from demolition prep and grading to hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, fencing, pergola installation, pebble work, and the finishing touches. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. The paver patio, carport, and front entry all turned out beautifully, and the plants, irrigation, and lighting were installed with great care. We were especially impressed by the rock and pebble work, particularly the dry creek and front mow strip. The mix of stone sizes gave everything a natural, detailed, and polished look that really elevated the final result. Aaron also has a strong eye for detail. He regularly caught things that needed adjustment, even when we had not noticed them ourselves, and he stayed focused on getting everything right. While there were some issues that delayed finishing the project, Aaron took responsibility and worked with us to make them right, which we truly appreciated. In the end, what matters most is that we are thrilled with the outcome. Our yard feels beautiful, welcoming, and complete, and we look forward to years of enjoying it.

We had everything completely demoed in order to start from scratch. We wanted a more rustic, traditional looking garden with brick pathways and lots of plants. Having never done a project like this before, we hired a landscape designer: Cyn Coulouthros. She put together a design for us and recommended Aaron's team at Landscape Experts due to their experience with softscaping and hardscaping, especially their brick work. And they would be able to deliver the traditional look we were going for. I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and his team. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want! Aaron is so easy to work with and always responsive. The lead on our project was Raul who is amazing at what he does! He takes pride in his work and is incredibly talented. If you need any landscaping, I highly recommend Landscape Experts. Some things Aaron's team did for us: Laid a brick pathway, laid a flagstone patio, installed pathway lights, installed much needed drainage, installed a drip system and Rachio controller (to program the sprinklers from your phone), resurfaced an existing raised seating area for us as it was completely deformed (likely from earthquakes), placed mulch, planted all of the trees and plants, etc. An additional note, Aaron doesn't forget about you once the job is done. We had a light go out and he sent someone over immediately to fix it, as an example. If you're having any issues, he wants to help, even if it's unrelated to anything they've worked on. We will 100% be using them when we're ready to do our front yard and for anything else landscape related! Thank you so much Aaron and Landscape Experts for giving us our dream backyard! You guys are amazing!

The finished backyard looks excellent and the quality of the construction appears high. Vanessa specifically provided excellent, white-glove service throughout the entirety of the project and was super responsive to all of our communication. We did have a number of issues arise with the crew (mainly excessive dust seeping into our house and trash being left behind on the neighbor's property line), as well as the accounting department (an accidental attempt at overcharging us), but Vanessa always did an excellent job of troubleshooting these issues and helping to guide everybody towards a resolution. She also worked diligently on our backyard design and expertly guided us through several iterations and unexpected construction issues. I highly recommend working with Vanessa and Black Diamond Pavers.

After waiting 28 days for the concrete to cure I set my 12' swim spa and 8' hot tub on the pad. 6 months later my swim spa cracked on the bottom. I am not sure about this but I believe the spa cracked because of the control joints running underneath the spa because that is where the spa shell cracked. Lessons learned is never add control joints where a swim spa will be set. This was no fault of Swanson's, It was my fault for recommending control joint locations. All is well now because my swim spa was repaired and I have the spa floating on 3" of crushed rock and a spa pad. The spa pad and rock sit on top of 6" steel reinforced concrete.

We did end up tweaking some design elements to lower installation cost but overall followed her plan. Even when we asked for different plants after her main design was completed, she helped us out at no additional cost. It was a good learning experience for us and we are happy with the final result. Linda's design process from beginning to end is extremely effective! It involved friendly communication and relationship-building to ensure we provided her with our plant interests and overall desired garden outcome that helped her with designing our front yard. In addition, Linda's contractor referrals helped to seamlessly complete the project process. About six years ago, we had our front yard transitioned from lawn to drought-tolerant plants, but it hadn't been thriving. With Linda's help, we were able to keep the healthier plants and incorporate their place in the yard into Linda's plan. We appreciated that as well as her suggestion to transplant many of the existing plants that didn't really fit the front yard's plan to the backyard area where they can still be enjoyed. Linda's gardening love and enthusiasm is infectious! He suggested practical modifications to the original terrace and retaining wall plans that better suited our terrain, which saved us significant costs. Beyond the major earth-moving, he handled: - Full Front Yard Renovation: High-quality work at a very fair price. - ADU Infrastructure: Trenching and installation for electric, water, and sewer lines. - Finishing Touches: Expert irrigation, lighting, and planting. What truly sets him apart is his character. When raccoons tore up our new sod, Octavio offered to repair it under warranty, even though it wasn't his fault. Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping is STILL incredible! Extremely professional, responsive and just an all around really nice guy! We had a very large project that included our Front, Side, and sloping back yard. My wife and I, like a lot of couples I'm certain, have design paralysis with that "I don't know, what do you want?" going back and forth with each other endlessly. Octavio has a great eye, and countless times he broke our deadlock saying, "How about this? I think this would look really nice" and when we followed his suggestions we ended up being incredibly happy with the result! That's a huge benefit that you can't put value on, because it keeps a project moving forward with minimal stress. Whenever we had questions, he always replied to our texts instantly, and one of the things I really appreciated about his company is that we never had to line up any of our own specialty contractors (electrical, plumbing etc) to do work. He has every discipline covered and coordinates the scheduling of all of that. I've worked with contractors before where they would inform you they didn't do a type of work and we would have to contract that effort separately. Octavio is not like that and he'll coordinate it all according to how you'd like it to look, or be done. Big thumbs up on that! Payment schedules are very clearly explained and documented. Our project included payments in "phases of work" down payment, forms completed, rebar completed, Completed concrete, electrical and irrigation/plants completed, final approval completed etc. and there was flexibility in the schedule if we wished, which made it much easier at one point while we were travelling. He's very open to discussing whatever makes things go smoothly. We loved how he gave us a lot of help particularly with trees/plants (types, locations) Octavio is very knowledgeable in that area and we were very pleased when he met us at the nursery multiple times to show and help us select plants and trees. His work crews were always very friendly, hard working and meticulous, and he checked in on them constantly to make sure everything was going according to plan. It's very obvious that he wants to make sure there are no surprises, and that work is progressing according to schedule and plans. It was a great pleasure having Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping transform our home! We would use him again without question and in fact have several other projects in the immediate future that we're in the process of discussing. A lot of people will search hard for the lowest price (I would estimate that Octavio's prices are not the "cheapest", but they are much more than fair, and I would argue that there is a HUGE difference between "lowest price" and "value"; that being the quality and experience of the work done for the money spent, and with that in mind, Pacific Premiere is a tremendous value! You get a ton for your Money!
