This is a store with a lot of toys, board games and etc. I stopped by this store inside Westfield Sherman Oaks mall because my wife was taking forever trying on clothes at the store next door so instead of waiting for her there, I came in to check out this store. When you walk inside, you'll see some airplane flying inside so it will grab your attention. I checked out their Lego collections, board games, Funko pop, puzzle game and etc. A employee approached me and asked if I needed any recommendations or help but I told him I was just browsing so he told me to let him know if I need assistance. They have a lot of stuff here so you'll probably like the stuff they have, I didn't really look at the prices so I can vary.

Relatively spacious board game/novelty item and hobby shop on the 2nd level...formerly on the first but they've expanded... great place to get the classic board games like Clue and Monopoly, but also the limited and/or special additionals. Great deals year round and top notch fun friendly board gameristas (just made that up)... they have a few cool demo toys and what not out for display near the check out for kids, teens and the kid in all of us.

Love it here! Everyone is super nice, their selection is awesome (no, seriously--they have a tablet…read morethat has all of their inventory so you don't have to waste your time sorting through piles of bulk), and the prices for things aren't stupid expensive like they are at some shops. I also love that they do events--can't wait to go to my first prerelease event here!

Went in for Pokemon singles. They have a system where you search cards on a tablet that has pricing…read moreand condition. They were adamant that you use the system to even take a look at cards. There were a couple employees available and I asked to see a couple cards but they insisted I type it into the system, select all the cards I'm interested in, then select check out, and THEN an employee would gather the cards for me to view. The first couple of cards I tried to type in were not found in the system but were in the display case. The employee suggested I type the card number (e.g. 2/108) and that did not work either. Finally I found a card I liked in the system but when I looked up that particular card, it appeared to have 2 versions, both near mint but different prices. When asked about the difference in prices, the person behind the counter took 10 minutes to research the cards and change the prices to even higher than originally listed - stating there was only 1 version of the card and they were mislabeled in the system. At this point, he finally showed me the cards and they were objectively not near mint. I wanted to get a closer look to see how played they were but they would not let me see the card outside the sleeve even when I requested that they take it out themselves if they were scared I would damage the card. He then again took the time to inspect the cards himself and correct the listed condition of the cards in their system while he had me wait. I asked if they would honor the original listed price from when I walked in but they said no. With that, and my not being able to make my own, closer inspection on the condition, I ended up not buying anything since I had no baseline to go off to see if it was worth buying for myself. Even without making a purchase, it was an awkward, uncomfortable shopping experience. The sealed product was comparatively much higher than the current market prices. There is a decent selection of singles but their tablet system was misleading and inconsistent. The selections were not good enough to entice me to come back. Be careful in your own price checking when coming to this place.

Finally got to check this spot out! Been following them on Instagram for a while now and haven't…read moregotten the chance to visit until a few days ago. We stopped by after work so the rush hour was a bit crazy but made it in time before they closed! We had to loop around since they don't have a designated parking lot and all the street parking was basically full. Managed to find a spot about a block away and not bad of a walk at all. We were mainly here for the Baldur's Gate 3 blind bags for the beautiful oversized d20's but checked out all the other cool stuff they have here! I believe the owner is Mandie and she was super sweet and had great energy when my bf and I dropped by! We managed to pull a Rare (Mizora) and a Rare (Halsin) which was really cool from just buying two packs. They have other cool merch like pokemon, final fantasy, dnd, and even some anime stuff. Highly recommend checking this shop out and supporting local businesses! Great place to buy a gift for anyone. Prices are a bit more than retail but nothing too crazy. Looks like they also have events like card games and art showcases. I know they recently had a Baldur's gate 3 signing which is amazing! Looking forward to dropping by again! IG: @ammysalamii

Do not walk, RUN to this cool new store!…read more I set foot into this new and pre-owned gamer lifestyle shop looking for last-minute Christmas gifts (shame on me). I'm proud to report that GeekyGlamorous has something for every geek and gamer in your life! The beautiful blue corner store stood out on this specific stretch of shops on Burbank Blvd. I was there for one of their Christmas deals: a mug, pair of socks, and candy gift set all wrapped up with a gift tag for $25! Such a great value, I bought way more than one. Inside you are greeted by toys, clothes, trinkets, tchotchkes, knicknacks, baubles, stickers, and doodads themed from your favorite anime, comics, and video games. Even GeekyGlamorous-branded pins, stickers, necklaces, and bracelets. There's also blind box figures, posters, calendars... Some items are pre-owned, most are new from reputable vendors like BioWorld who specialize in licensed merch. Although this is not the biggest space, but the layout is really well-thought out and makes the store feel large. Mrs. GeekyGlamorous, the store owner, was there when I visited. She is a saint to entertain all of my annoying questions and is super friendly and personable. At no point did I feel pressured or like I was being sold something. I dug her aesthetic choices like the table comprised of Super Famicon game cartridges. Fun Fact: Super Famicon cartridges are cheaper than SNES cartridges... or the table where the POS system is has loads of memorabilia and ephemera under the glass. There will be rotating pop-up shops monthly-- right now for instance in December '24 there's a setup from Dispel Dice. There will also be community events like game nights held at the shop, too. I'm stoked for this new store, it's like an indie Expo or Comic Con!
