Cardboard Legends Poor Packaging Evidence

I purchased a nearly $200 item from this company on eBay, for a celebrity client. They sent it so poorly that the flimsy envelope arrived totally empty, with a USPS notice on the front of the envelope stating it arrived to them empty. The Company refused to do anything about this. They made me jump through crazy hoops for months and did nothing for me, leaving me to foot the bill. They kept trying to insist eBay was on the hook for this mess, and refused to take any personal responsibility for it. I believe this was a scam. I would stay far, far away from this company.

One Liner: The biggest and rarest collection of Sports and Collectibles Memorabilia in the SF Valley. Mike always takes care of me when I come in as I like to crack open boxes of NBA product and pick-up Funkos in the process. There is something to see at every corner and the amount of different unique items is insane. Located in a large shopping center on Saticoy and Louise. Usually plenty of parking and other collectors that come through. Great to talk sports with and I always get clients special pieces here. Museum like pieces and rare autographs all around. Been a customer for years and intend to keep it that way!!!

I do not understand Why I am not able to give a bad review. My last review was filtered. I find the owner of this store rude.

This is a great place to come and play trading card games. There's a wide variety of collectibles. The place is very friendly.

Great shop & Mike is probably the best owner of a sports card & memorabilia store in all of SoCal.

Went to shop at the Burbank, CA store. It was clean and had friendly and helpful staff. They have…read moremany Christmas and New Year items. Many items are 25% to 40% off regular price. It was not too busy. Parking: A shared lot. Stats: 4

I've been in the morning as well as before closing. It's always busy. Guess it's a good thing on their part. Like mentioned, I don't recommend coming in for the last minute holiday decorations. You would think as it's early in December, they'll have some things left over. Well, majority of things are gone. Loads of the isles have been cleared already. I've even seen some employees taking down the fixtures already. It's good for them but if you're looking for the decoration, I do recommend coming early. Like a month or so. They have them out early and most are on sale. It's still half off for Christmas items. You'll still get things there as they have random stuffs. But majority of holiday items are gone. I don't know if they'll restock anything now but if you're not looking for something particular, I'm sure they'll have it. It's also a store that literally carries everything. It's basically a Joann's, Michael's and a Home Goods all under one roof. There's everything that you can want or need in a craft store of such. Also, why is it that all the store seems to be short with cashiers. There's always a massive line in the store and there's like 3, maybe 4 cashier. If you coming, just make sure not to be in a rush. But I'm sure you'll end up leaving with one thing or a cart of things. They alway do have amazing discounts.

Love it here! Everyone is super nice, their selection is awesome (no, seriously--they have a tablet…read morethat has all of their inventory so you don't have to waste your time sorting through piles of bulk), and the prices for things aren't stupid expensive like they are at some shops. I also love that they do events--can't wait to go to my first prerelease event here!

Went in for Pokemon singles. They have a system where you search cards on a tablet that has pricing…read moreand condition. They were adamant that you use the system to even take a look at cards. There were a couple employees available and I asked to see a couple cards but they insisted I type it into the system, select all the cards I'm interested in, then select check out, and THEN an employee would gather the cards for me to view. The first couple of cards I tried to type in were not found in the system but were in the display case. The employee suggested I type the card number (e.g. 2/108) and that did not work either. Finally I found a card I liked in the system but when I looked up that particular card, it appeared to have 2 versions, both near mint but different prices. When asked about the difference in prices, the person behind the counter took 10 minutes to research the cards and change the prices to even higher than originally listed - stating there was only 1 version of the card and they were mislabeled in the system. At this point, he finally showed me the cards and they were objectively not near mint. I wanted to get a closer look to see how played they were but they would not let me see the card outside the sleeve even when I requested that they take it out themselves if they were scared I would damage the card. He then again took the time to inspect the cards himself and correct the listed condition of the cards in their system while he had me wait. I asked if they would honor the original listed price from when I walked in but they said no. With that, and my not being able to make my own, closer inspection on the condition, I ended up not buying anything since I had no baseline to go off to see if it was worth buying for myself. Even without making a purchase, it was an awkward, uncomfortable shopping experience. The sealed product was comparatively much higher than the current market prices. There is a decent selection of singles but their tablet system was misleading and inconsistent. The selections were not good enough to entice me to come back. Be careful in your own price checking when coming to this place.
