We drove into vineyards rd to find this place . Finding the place is the challenge, after that it's all fun. It's a top of the hill vineyard and ultra quiet. Get a bottle and sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

We visited Minassian-Young today for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. The Zinfandels were very different. A little more sweet and not super jammy but delicious. We bought 4 bottles and our friends ended up joining. You cannot beat the price. The tasting room has a beautiful views. We will definitely go back.

Minassian-Young's Black Saint Peter? Ava approves. So do I.

I discovered Minassian-Young courtesy of my local Carlsbad wine bar, RELM (look up my review of them). RELM expanded my appreciation of Central Coast wines in general and this Paso winery in particular, and for the time that RELM stocked a Minassian-Young zin, I drank that regularly. So I had to visit from whence such tastiness comes. I've visited the vineyard and tasting room twice while in Paso. It's on the very scenic, narrow, and winding Peachy Canyon road, a road I strongly recommend navigating at the beginning of your wine tasting day, not at the end. The tasting room is on a hilltop with a beautiful view of their vineyard on both sides of the adjacent canyon. The tasting room is dog-friendly, as are the customers and employees... always a bonus! The tasting room hasn't been busy during either visit and the employees are very happy to talk wine, dogs, and all things Paso, making it a very comfortable experience. But back to the wines: the Zins are excellent. I recently started enjoying the Black Saint Peter, a zin blend that's very inky with explosive flavor. A couple bottles came home with me. When in Paso I'll be back again!

We booked the "wine tasting and lunch", which was a 90 minute experience on their patio ($40). When we arrived, we were greeted with the first wine on the tasting list, which was the Grenache (pretty good, different than what I normally go for). The patio had a nice view of the rolling hills and we could see goats running across them in the distance. The tasting consisted of 4 wines, and we also got a bonus pour. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed the wine selection, especially the "Messer" red. We also ordered lunch, and both my Harvest Salad and Parmesan Fries were very tasty. The grounds were nice, but not quite as breathtaking as some of the other vineyards I've seen in the area. Overall though, a good experience!

From the moment we drove in, the experience felt elevated--being greeted with a glass of rosé right at arrival set the tone perfectly. The property itself is stunning, with architecture that feels like a modern twist on a Frank Lloyd Wright design--clean lines, expansive glass walls, and uninterrupted views of the rolling vineyard-covered hills. After walking up the long staircase (worth every step), we were met with breathtaking views that made it hard to focus on anything else--until the tasting began. Peggy, our server, was incredible. Her knowledge and storytelling brought the entire experience to life. She shared detailed insights about the wines and the owners, from their background in geology to how they carefully selected this unique property. It made every sip feel intentional and meaningful. And the wine--wow. Easily some of the best we've had in a long time. Every pour was exceptional, but we loved it so much we had to take a couple bottles home--especially the Chardonnay and the Sagacious red blend. Already looking forward to enjoying them again with good friends and great food. This wasn't just a tasting--it was an experience. Highly recommend if you're in Paso Robles.

Le Cuvier is up at the top of the hill with sweeping views of the whole valley. It's a narrow, winding path to get to the top so drive carefully! Cat presence always gets extra points from me. We were seated on the large shaded outdoor patio, and we were the only customers there. It was late in the day and I guess the midday rush had all just vacated at once. Our server was really great at describing the winemaking process, flavor profiles and history of the winery, but the patio was completely silent. We took out a phone to play our own music and she commented that her mother did the same thing when she visits. Dining experiences need music! If they're aware of this, I hope they consider adding some soft music for a more comfortable ambiance. Wines - All of the wines here are natural, which not many wineries can claim in this area, and I tasted some very unique blends like nothing I've tasted before. My favorite was the Syrah, but the rest of the wines weren't really my style. Food - The menu is changed regularly and it's obvious that the chef enjoys putting it together! We didn't get to try the ramen that my friend raved about because of the new menu, but we loved the mini "street taco" tostada and the spam maki. I did think some dishes would have been better served hot, like the orange-glazed chicken thigh. This was such a cool, unique experience and it sounds like you'll never have the same experience twice! Would recommend to anyone.
