Had an appointment on Saturday at 11 for a simple manicure. Got there are 5 minutes to 11. Very crowded. Asked the owner how long it might be since they were so busy. She said just a few minutes. So I waited while a woman walked in at 11 and asked for a pedicure. She had no appointment. At 11:15 a staff member told me to come to the chair for a pedicure but I told her I was there for my nails. Now this was the same woman who gave me a manicure about 2 weeks ago so she didn't do only pedicures. Instead of taking me to the manicure table to work on my nails, she called the walk in woman and told her she'd start her pedicure for her. I was left standing there. Seeing that none of the technicians were anywhere near done, I walked out at 11:20 with no manicure. Too bad as they do a wonderful job once you get in a chair. But they overbook and take too many walk ins. read more

I've tried it three times now....I waited over 30 minutes and I had an appointment! Way too crowded with poor service. Chaotic, loud, and staff barking at people as to where to sit; there wasn't even enough chairs for those waiting. My pedicure was rushed, she made no attempt to communicate with me except barking at me as to what to do. I don't even know why one bothers to make an appointment! And very few choices if decent polish colors for pedicures. I won't try again. read more

My first visit after being referred by friends and reading other reviews. Best toe nail job I've had. If you go, don't schedule anything else to do immediately after, as I understand that waiting (and you do need an appointment) is sop. I was immediately put in a chair and water added, but after 20 minutes, I asked who was going to do me and the guy in next chair turned hot water on when I commented it was getting pretty cold. Finally (no clock; guess they don't want you do know how long you've waited) he started on me but 3/4 way through trimming nails another person took over. She didn't seem to understand much English and unfortunately was one of those "smile and say yes m'am" types no matter what I said. Just kept telling me to wait and it would all be done perfectly. Instead of finishing nails, she started on my legs...well, it did eventually all work out and it was one of the best nail jobs that I have had. Only one sharp corner left. They are all very nice and trained to say "yes m'am and smile" to everyone. Someone reviewed that there was no chemical smell...well maybe no one was having polish done while she was there. The door was open so smell was dissapating, especially as they finished with the smelly jobs. I've tried five other places in Sequim, and this was the best so far. They also give you a card that and after 5 visits you get $5 off. $25 for pedicure; she said $14 for manicure. Don't park on the street as you compete with space with the VFW bar/restaurant next door. I was hemmed in by a veteran who said they try to cram four cars in the three marked spaces. I had a very stressful experience here when it should have been a relaxing time. I normally get my nails done in the outer Seattle area (keep up on acrylics), but I was visiting my little sister and she wanted to go together and this one was told by my mom's friend that they did a great job. I told them a couple of times that I wanted a fill, with shellac. They are really into the dip powder, and pushed it on the rest of my family that came. The man working on my nails was very rough, and was even burning my fingers with the drill, I had to tell him more than once that it was hurting. When he was done doing a crappy shaving job, he went to dip my nails, and I said "I need a fill" (he hadn't done anything to fill the gap in my nails) and he said "this is how we do it, it's the same thing" and he used a clear liquid to paint on my nails, and then dip my nails in acrylic powder? He did this a few times per nail, so the gap was filled, but I was left with a very thick layer of acrylic also on the rest of my nails, I've never seen it done this way and it was stressing me out. He continued to shave, and I could tell that some of my nails had an uneven layer of acrylic on them. He also asked if I still wanted coffin shape, which I said yes, but some of them turned out kind of wide/square. When he seemed to be done with that part, I had to ask him to correct the acrylic on my thumb and pointer finger, as the left edge of each of them was much thinner in acrylic, and looked wonky. I also again told him that I did not want dip, but shellac. I had picked out a sparkly/shimmery white color, because I wanted to do a spiderweb accent for Halloween. He said he did not have that color in shellac, I just asked him to pick something similar and he said OK. At this point I was frustrated and done correcting him; he started paining my nails just plain white, and he used 4 coats, adding to the thickness of my nails. Then another 2 coats of clear. He did a spiderweb on a couple nails, which was not amazing but not the worst; and then another two coats of clear. I also had shown him a picture of the spiderweb, but said "I'm not picky, just however you think looks good", and he responded with "oh you're not picky?", I think referring to when I had him correct my nails he messed up, which was frustrating. I was already hating my nails, and then went to check out, he charged me $50, which I never pay that much for a fill, even with a design, at the salons by me. All of my nails are sticking up super thick, not dainty at all, they are wide, and have messed up edges. My regular salon is going to have quite the work to do when I go get them fixed. read more

Was there on a Thursday morning, and it quickly filled up. There were two manicurists and 2 pedicurists on staff. We were in there forever. In trying to accommodate all the customers they had an assembly line going. The technician didn't put a top coat on, she left a deep cut near my cuticle what took out a chunk of nail. I received a crappy colored French manicure. I tried to get them to fix my nails while I was sitting there and they just said that it would look good in the end. The base color is purple when I asked for grey and the French tips are more like straightish lines. This wasn't worth the $30 I paid. read more

So I went there last month with my daughter to get a manicure. My boyfriend an son waited in the car for the majority of the time. We didn't have to wait too long to get a chair.. I don't remember which girl I had but I got cold water to rest my hands in, and my daughter didn't even the bowl of water. The lady asked if I had kids, I said a son and a daughter. Eventually my boyfriend and son come to see if we're almost done because they have to use the bathroom. My son was wearing a red shirt with rockets and black pants and black and red boots with more rockets. Clearly dressed like a boy. He has beautiful long thick curly hair and the two manicurists sitting next to each exchanged words in another language and then asked if me if he was a boy or a girl. I said boy and one said back to me ' no that's a girl' I said no his name is Isaiah. She said 'he likes his hair long like that? I said yeah? He's Native American' they looked at each other and laughed basically. So I paid for our manicures and left.. I don't think I'll be going back for awhile.. read more

I have NEVER, not once, had my nails done here. Not for lack of trying. Four times I've made an appointment and four times after waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time I've left. This morning was timed for a wedding (I only tried it one more time here because there were four of us and I thought we could all have it done at the same time to have a pre-wedding experience. Mimi and Jimmy are beyond disrespectful. They offer appts and don't call you when they're late, which is 100% of the time. Today my niece and I each had a 4:30p appt. which they gave when I called @ 3:15p. We arrived and they said nothing about how long we would need to wait. Finally I asked. We were told it would be another 45 min. They need to stop offering appts and use a call ahead list, like salons do. And they need to at least have the manners to apologize. People have school commitments, doctor appts and family schedules. read more

I would not return to this place. Absolute mad house, the person who did my pedicure could speak no English therefore no communication. More importantly I did not like my pedicure, the way my nails were trimmed or anything else. There was nothing relaxing about my experience. It was like a Black Friday sale. read more
