Ideal pricing, quick service, happy customers. Tracey and her husband are hard workers. Don't expect a Los Angeles mani pedi. We are in Washington. We live in a small town. The job they do is sufficient and excellent. They do a French style pedicure perfectly. The owners always call me by name and remember where we last left off.

Once my pedicure began, it was quickly apparent that it was not what I had in mind. The man was very rough with the tools, leaving my foot cuticles sore. The various products like a scrub and maybe lotion was hardly used and what I'm guessing was meant to be a massage was a weird tapping and brushing motion on my feet. While technique may be up to interpretation, the results were not. Each toenail was a different shape, different lengths and filed at a different angle. The polish is lumpy and ragged around the edges. When I tried to clean it off my skin, the lady came over to correct me, saying that the oil they put on is so that excess polish comes off later. The manicure was just a polish change after putting my hands in room temp water for a minute. The polish is over my cuticles on some fingers, my nail shape is inconsistent and when she put lotion on my hands at the end, they were still gritty from filing my nails. They were completely over booked and people kept coming in with appointments while the lady apologized saying they were unexpectedly short handed. While I absolutely understand that can happen, I still expect the services I am paying for to be nice. Also, why did she make appointments for us if she didn't have time? We were clearly unhappy stating our nails were not smooth or even, but she didn't care. It is quite frustrating to have my fingernails and toenails snagging on my sweater and blanket, and feel embarrassed by the appearance after going to get them done. Hopefully, this was an off day for this shop. However, it was our first time there and due to the lack of concern for how we felt, I will not be back.

I was bummed when I got a message machine... But thought hey!? Why not! Leave a message... I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text message from Lisa herself apologizing for missing my call and if I had already gotten my fill to please think of her in the future.. I thought, wow! How nice. So i decided to see when she could get me in. Upon arrival.. The shop was a little hidden but after one loop around the block I found her nicely labeled private parking for her business.. (I had driven by it)... Walked in to a small...but nice and clean salon... It is a more intimate experience-- just you and Lisa. She offers you coffee, tea or water... And has the works for you right there to choose from.. Which is an appreciated touch. There wasn't a ton of nail polish colors to choose from but there was enough and I found the green I wanted. This is where my already good experience turned great. Lisa was not just friendly but relatable and warm. she makes you feel like you're old friends. Her nail work for my fill was spot on and she understood exactly what I wanted. Her passion is nails (which she does well).. But even better than that, I think her passion is people. There is something special about Lisa that you just love within a few minutes of chatting. I could sit and talk to her all day. Genuine conversation and good nails..... The whole salon was clean and sanitary which is something very much lacking in other local salons. She speaks English... And is professional yet relatable-- which is so hard to find elsewhere. I took my husband in with me for his every 3 month pedicure. I go monthly. Our service as very good with attention to detail, personal preferences and best of all you can tell she is a huge part of this community. I got a pedicure with no polish as I am giving my nails a breather after 4 straight years of polish while traveling fulltime. Hubby got pedicure PLUS blue polish as a match to his friend who gets them polished as well. We laughed and had a great time. My favorite....
