I was right at the bridge. I parked in the lot and called, said I was there, could they accommodate a walk-in for a pedicure? She said yes, come on in. I am happy with the pedicure, and the polish on my toenails still looks good 2 weeks and a day later. I don't get pedicures often, but the last place I went to (can't even remember the name) left my polish peeling in just days. I'm so happy I chose to take a bit of a drive to MiMi Nail Plus from where I was because the ladies here are always so sweet and do such a great job! I got my appointment thru yelp since I found the place at non-business hours, but even still they responded fast and got me in for 9AM on a Sat. My experience here was great. The place is clean, Mimi herself is at the front and greets you. Sunny, my nail technician was meticulous in getting my manicure and nail design just right. She even surprised me with a shoulder massage which only reminded me that I need to schedule an actual massage. This place is literally down the street from me so I will be going back. read more

They do a good job. Requested an appointment and received a quick response. Upon arriving I was greeted and immediately seen by the owner. The gel manicure was just filing and some cuticle cutting, very quick. Then I got the pedicure done by another sweet young lady. You choose what kind of pedicure you want I did a regular one and chose the green box. They do a nice massage and take their time with cutting cuticles and nice paint job that's about it. She did a good job and was very polite. The place is new, clean and lots of color options to choose from. There wasn't any type of social distancing on the pedicure chairs nor any barriers there like other salons and they don't space out clients either. There were two ladies without masks and other clients seated next to them even though NJ still mandates masks. The manicure stations are appropriately spaced. I wanted builder gel/ hardener and they gave me UV gel. during my service, the drill kept getting my cuticles, and I kept flinching and was told to stop moving. I then go to a matte topcoat, but it didn't completely cover my nail and now my nails are half shiny and have Matte. I used to love this place but idk what happened. read more

I sent a message at 8am on Sunday morning for a same day appointment & got a response just a few minutes later (even though the salon wasn't even open yet). I really wanted to like this place because everyone is so nice but my experience was not great. I had a new set put on and a week later, a nail popped off. I went back for my two week appointment and had them redone, a few days later, another nail broke off then a few days after that, another one was lifting so I had to remove it. I went back and I was told maybe they were too long. I've had stiletto nails, duck feet nails and square nails that were twice as long as the nails I had on and they never broke. I was charged also for the two they had to fix which I think the customer should not be charged for; if they're breaking off two days after I get them done, that's not on me or anything I'm doing wrong. Well, I lost a nail two days after getting them done a third time plus I had a fungus on my one nail. I've had extensions put on my nails for over 25 years and only had that happen one other time and the nail tech told me what to do to correct it and I did. I asked this lady and she told me to leave it alone, it'll go away. I wasn't too happy with that response because it's a fungus, I'm not just going to leave it alone and have it spread to my other nails. I ended up just taking all the nails off because it's too much of a hassle to get them done then two days later already have a broken one. I also think their prices are a little on the high end. I asked for one design and she put two and then charged me for both. I guess I should have spoken up but didn't want to look cheap. I don't mind paying if the quality is good but when I'm breaking nails a few days after getting them done, paying over $50.00 becomes expensive and a waste of money. The three stars are because they are very nice and I feel bad leaving a not so positive review but that was my experience. They do have a big selection of colors and the salon is very nice but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

Up charge for adding a coat of glitter nail polish an extra $10 is quite ridiculous and no discount on the pedicure if you get a gel manicure or anything. Visited Mimis for the first time and luckily I live 3 mins away because the service is excellent and I received one of the best pedicures in my life from Soila (Sol) ! And plus as my toes dried she gave me a back massage. The environment at Mimis is truly spa like! It was super relaxing!
