Ordered 2 arrangements for Mother's Day to be delivered to my house. Only one showed up (flowers were rather lifeless but I won't complain about that, it happens). Called the day they were delivered, no answer, no way to leave a message. Submitted an online inquiry via their website, no reply. Called multiple times afterwards, no answer. So we're out $100 for an arrangement that was never delivered. Don't use these guys. I try to support local business whenever possible, but MFS is one to avoid. read more

When I made the order, I called on the phone and spoke with Joe, who told me he was pulling up his website and reviewing what I wanted while on the phone with me. We went over the description of each item and special request of having 4 ribbons with "son, brother, nephew, grandson" on the hearts and in the casket spray I requested 2 yellow roses. There were no yellow roses and the ribbons I was charged extra for - should have done without. The flowers that were delivered were nothing like what they advertised on their web page! Family Mass @ 3:330pm and flowers still not there! When I contacted the shop to let them know I was very unhappy (cause they did not even come into the funeral home with the late flowers just dropped them off), they told me I could have a 10% discount. All my wedding flower is from this store, 1 big and 3 small bouquet and 6 corsage, +$400. When we got them, the first thing we felt it is not worth it. Flower is not fresh, totally different from the picture we picked, not really cut the leave and caulis.... you can see they don't put time or any effort on this. I was angry but sad more, as this was our wedding and you would have hope everything is perfect. They probably good before, but not anymore. read more

So... I was supposed to get a refund for the terrible experience I had with this florist. They didn't want to give me my money back so they decided to deliver the dozen roses that I ordered a week later and there were only 6 roses in the bouquet with some other type of flowers mixed in. My husband ordered flowers for me from "for you flowers" - a distributor that works with local florists - Milton's in this case. It was supposed to be a birthday surprise. The florist started by calling me in the morning to confirm the address. Seriously? Way to ruin the surprise. They could have tried my husband first. Not only that but they still hadn't delivered the flowers by 3 pm (my husband had ordered them expedited, to arrive by noon) and I had to call them to find out where they were since I was about to leave the office. Long story short the flowers never arrived and we ended up canceling the order (after many phone calls back and forth). I can't even tell you if they have nice flowers since they never arrived. I work at the front desk at an apartment complex. Milton Flower Shop often "delivers" to tenants where I work. I use this term loosely because they drop the flowers at the front desk as if it were a bomb and run out the door. At 8pm! Kinda late in the day to deliver flowers. Laziest flower shop ever. If there were a category LOWER than 1 star, it is what I would give these folks. My friend ordered flowers for delivery to me when I was diagnosed with Cancer. The flowers were dumped at my door unceremoniously, and were in poor shape. I called them the next day because it was late when they arrived, and I was tired (understandably). They lectured me that I should have called right away but they would replace them on Monday (it was Friday). I was going to be away so I asked for a few days later. NOTHING EVER CAME. When I called, they said, no they would not replace them, it was too late. They didn't care that I had already called. They were mean and nasty. I went in to speak to the owner and was CHASED from the store, and they followed me in their car yelling obscenities out the window of their car. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. read more

When I reached out to them for comment and to make the situation right, I received no response. Horrible. They were supposed to deliver flowers to my girlfriend at work on a Friday (they were subcontracted by 1-800-flowers). They didn't. At 5:30 pm on Friday they called her at work and asked if she could hang out for another couple of hours until they got there. She had to work late anyway, and said yes. They called her later that night and said they'd deliver on Saturday morning, and agreed to deliver to her apartment. She waited at home until 1pm on Saturday: no delivery. Later she called them, and they said they'd instead deliver on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. Then on Sunday morning they delivered to her workplace, and called her cell phone demanding to know why she wasn't there to receive the flowers. Unbelievable. So much for surprising my girlfriend with flowers. I don't recommend Milton Flower Shops, or 1800flowers (who refused to cancel the order when I contacted them on day 2 of this saga). read more

I had a flower arrangement delivered to my home as a birthday gift. The delivery man reeked of cigarette smoke as did my porch after he dropped it off. I don't know how this place is still in business after all these terrible reviews over the course of multiple years. I called to order flowers delivered to my mother's house in Milton on Mother's Day last year. Mother's Day came and went and the flowers never showed. We called them over and over again the following Monday before finally getting someone to answer the phone. When I asked why the flowers I already paid for weren't delivered as promised, they responded with "It was Mother's Day, we were busy." with no apology or concern. I guess if I hadn't called them they were going to hope I didn't notice they did not deliver the flowers I paid for and just keep my money. Nice try. I recently found myself in dire straights when I realized at 8:40 in the evening that our family had forgotten to order flowers for the funeral of my brother in laws grandad. The funeral was the next day at 10:00 am and I knew there was no way we could get anything to Milton in time ( I live in Tampa). The website had a 1-800 number so I thought it was worth a shot. I called and was floored when the owner answered the phone and got me on the line with a designer immediately. Not only were they able to get an arrangement there, my brother said it was exquisite. It is unheard of to order a funeral arrangement at 8:40 in the evening for a 10 am service. I don't know what I would have done without them. Both the people I spoke to were courteous and helpful and went out of their way to help me in a bind. I would use this shop again in a heartbeat. read more

Terrible experience. I was out of town for Valentine's Day and tried to send my wife flowers since I was gone and she was taking care of our 4 kids, who were sick. Per the suggestion on the website I called the morning before to place the order and spoke with the general manager, Ben, placed a $100 order to be delivered Monday or Tuesday (Valentine's day). Spoke to my wife 7 pm on Valentine's Day and asked if she got flowers --and she said no. Never delivered. I wanted to support a local business but they completely dropped the ball and didn't deliver the flowers or call me back. I had to go to the shop in person to get any kind of response. I totally agree with these other reviewers. Think twice about using them...I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I got a food gift basket as a gift delivered by Milton Flower shop. It's true the delivery lady dropped off the gift basket like it was going to blow up and ran back to her car with her kids in it. I noticed that the gift basket was supposed to be delivered a day prior, so that shows they are not on time. They had cheese that should be refridgerated...it was melted like it was sitting in a car all day. I called and asked to replace it...they said they would but never showed up. They had cookies in the basket that they were expired. The other cookies were stale. It seemed like the owner ran out to buy a basket (with the price tag still on it) and food from TJ Max. My wife through out chocolate fudge because she said tasted like cheap waxy cardboard. So pretty disappointed becasue when I called about the taryness, who ever answered the phone blamed it on nobody being at the house (my wife was home all day with her mother becasue she just gave birth). So it was our fault and then they never replaced the items we had issues with. Maybe their flowers are ok but their service and gift baskets are extremely not acceptable. read more

When I told her which bouquet I wanted, she said "OK, but I would have to go to another florist b'cus she didn't have it." It was a $100 dollar bouquet and I cancelled the order immediately while I was on the phone with her b;'cus she didn't have the flowers. The following month I was charged for it on my credit card. When I called to complain, a man answered the phone, he said "he had SOLD that flower shop a long time ago. He didn't know why people were still calling him at that number. I needed a flower arrangement delivered to a memorial service on behalf of a group of college classmates and we wanted the arrangement to be the perfect balance of celebration and seriousness, light and airy, incorporating green and white, since green was our class color -- Joe spent time with me on the phone to listen to what I wanted and created the most beautiful arrangement, delivered within four hours of my call! Be warned, their website is completely misleading - the flowers delivered looked nothing like what I had ordered. $84 bought 19 roses of peach and deep red color with some sort of weird purple chrysanthemum in the middle to bulk out the bouquet. The color scheme was terrible - like something out of the '70s, and completely not the chic theme I was hoping for when I saw the image online. The image online showed gorgeous deep pink roses, two-tone roses, and green hyacinth - beautifully and evenly distributed. What we got: light peach, dark red and canary yellow roses bundled in dark green foliage with a weird purple center (can't even identify the flower). Really sad as this was for a milestone birthday and should have been a showstopper centrepiece. Kind of embarrassed to even have it on the table in its current arrangement... read more

I've never had such a bad experience with customer service in my life. Joe acted like he was going to resolve my problem the 5 plus times I spoke to him but never did. I received flowers that were arranged horribly, I was actually embarrassed to see them I couldn't believe that anyone would pick those out to send to someone which I found out that they totally butchered the order. For $90 I received 3 roses with dying baby's breath. When we called to ask if they sent the wrong order they came and brought a couple more roses to go along with the 3 I already had-looked terrible then I called again and they brought a new arrangement which was fine if I hadn't had to call so many times to receive it. I had later leaned that they delivered the correct order from the beginning but came and took it back before I got home, leaving me with a terrible arrangement. Another time they delivered them the day after they were supposed to. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere, as convenient as you would think it is having it in Milton it is the least convenient and poor quality. I would never order from them again. read more

I was trying to surprise a girl at her work, wanted the flowers delivered by the end of the day. Didn't happen. I don't want to go over the whole experience play by play, but the delivery shop called her, not me, ruined the surprise, brought the wrong arrangement, dead flowers. Offered to replace with correct arrangement, wanted dead flowers back, meanwhile it is now Monday afternoon. Fromyouflowers.com did refund my money, but the whole experience took 6 months off my life. You try to surprise someone, first time you send flowers, and this is the F#cking experience. BE WARNED! They don't even deserve 1 star, but I had to choose something. We have ordered twice from this florist and had horrible experiences both times. Ordered the same arrangement on Feb 6th for a Feb 14th delivery, giving them plenty of time to be sure the items were in stock. Had to call 3 times before the order was done because the sales person needed the owner to verify that she had given me a credit and she "forgot" to ask. When the flowers had not been delivered by 3:45pm today I called to inquire as to when they would be delivered. After a long wait on hold I was told by 7pm tonight when the shop closed. Well, at 7:45 when they still had not arrived I called again. Now they are supossedly on the truck waiting to be delivered. It is almost 8pm! They said they were very busy with deliveries yet the address they are going to is ONE MILE from the shop!!, They couldn't deliver them at a reasonable time even though the order was placed 8 days ago? I have a feeling they "forgot" about the order until I called earlier in the afternoon. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and doing a charge back on my credit card. read more

I recently contracted the owner of Milton flowers to do my wedding flowers. I gave her a deposit and left happy. Well... those feelings quickly dissipated! I had to call and remind her to send the contract of what we agreed upon and after 2 weeks I received. Once I started reviewing it I realized it was missing a bridesmaid bouquet, wrist corsage was wrong, all the centerpieces flowers were missing, and no reflection of the $100 deposit. I sent emails and left several emails and no response to my concern about everything wrong with the contract. I even highlighted the contract that needed to be corrected along with and an email I had previously reflecting the changes and scanned both documents so they would be together in my last attempt to get this straightened out. I was astonished that I still had no response again after 2 weeks. I had enough at this point, so I went to the shop and demanded my $100 deposit back. I knew if it was already a headache it was only going to get worse. I lacked the confidence that my big day would have the correct flowers. My family had a balloon bouquet delivered to me at work. They delivered it after I had already left for the day, and within 12 hours, all the balloons were on the floor. I called and spoke to them, requesting a new bouquet, since I never even got to enjoy it because they delivered so late and the balloons didn't hold up. I call my mother on mothers day and ask if she liked the flowers, What flowers? she answers. So much for the element of surprise! I hesitate to give even one star. The flowers that did arrive were beautiful, but half of what should have been in the arrangement was not. When I called to ask why, I was told the flowers in question were not supposed to be in the arrangement, yet they are clearly visible in the arrangement on the website. Why have a photo ID if you are not going to replicate it for the customer? I was given the run around and no concrete reason why the arrangement was lacking. All I was told was that I received more value with the arrangement that was delivered. It became quickly apparent he was not going to be reasonable, so I never even bothered to mention the other two parts of the arrangement that were missing.What I tried to explain is that quantity does not equal quality. I picked the arrangement I did because I wanted those specific flowers, period. All of them! And I know flowers! If they were not available, I should have been called. So, my advice is this....If you order from them, repeat every single flower that you expect to be in your arrangement, including the type of greens and filler. Do not assume, as I did, that they will follow the photo ID on the website, as they should. Because if you do, you will be sorely disappointed, and will feel even worse when you call for an explanation. I am intentionally leaving out the man's name that I dealt with, but if he is the owner, he needs to learn that the customer is always right. First rule of thumb when owning a business. I was much kinder here than I am feeling, so if you are reading this , you are welcome for my restraint. read more
