The order was nothing like what I ordered and the fees were more than the actual bouquet charge. There was a service fee of $30 on top of a deliver fee of $10. What a disappointment. Ordered flowers through a third party and the picture of the flower arrangement is NOT what was received. We paid the extra to have the premium arrangement of the seaside ROSES and there are minimal roses. I think the MOST disappointing part is that a metallic vase was received with a sympathy arrangement!!!! A clear one would have been ok if the one in the picture was not available but definitely not metallic. I ordered a Christmas arrangement for a friend through Teleflora and the order was fulfilled through Clifford's. I really appreciated that the flowers could be delivered on a Sunday as she works during the week and Saturdays. However, the arrangement that was delivered looked nothing like what I ordered. I understand a florist cannot make an exact replica of an arrangement, but this was not what I paid for. The photo online showed pine, roses, and a specialty box for the flowers. None of that was included on the arrangement my friend received and I am so disappointed. Had I known this is what would be delivered, I would have ordered something else. read more

My 92 year old mother has always enjoyed the arrangements from Clifford's for a number of years now but today the service was exceptional. I wasn't aware that she would be at the town's senior center today and not home to receive the delivery. Kudos to Tim for contacting me with a concern that the flowers would not survive the extreme heat we experienced today if he left them outside her door. He then waited for me to confirm her location and proceeded to take them and find her there (I can imagine the look on her face; I'm sure he made her day!) I received an absolutely beautiful birthday bouquet from my three sons. I assume they used 1-800-Flowers, as my bouquet arrived from Clifford's Flowers in Quincy, MA and we live in Melrose. May I just say that this is one of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever received. It is now five days old and the roses are still gorgeous and opening and fresh as the day it was delivered. My boyfriend sent me a beautiful arrangement two days ago from this florist while I was in the hospital on Friday. He paid $84.00 for it and it was delivered to me that afternoon . It was beautiful. However, the next morning I noticed the flowers were wilting. Upon examining it I noticed most of the flowers were not stuck into the florist foam. They were just placed in between the flowers, therefore they were not getting any water at all. The arrangement was very poorly put together. For $84 this arrangement should not be wilting and dying the next day. I called the florist and the gentleman who answered the phone told me no one was in and they would call me the next day. I never received a call from them. If you want an arrangement that is going to last I suggest going elsewhere. What a disappointment this place was. Stay away from this florist. My son ordered flowers to be delivered, When he ordered them my address was was given accurately and whoever took the order had them delivered to the wrong address miles away from my home, I got a call from the driver to call the florist and give them an order number, which I did, they didn't know what I was talking about, Needless to say 2 hours later I finally was able to reach the driver and he said the address was a condemned building so he looked up my address and found it. When I talked with him, never hearing that I had called the main number 3 times, he said he could go back to the florist and pick them up and deliver them to me. Worst florist experience ever. I live in San Diego CA, and wanted to send flowers to my mom this past Mother's Day. The Friday before Mother's Day, I google searched "canton Mass florist " and the first number that appeared was Ava's flowers. I called them, and they assured me they were a local florist. They told me it would be no problem getting the flowers delivered the next day. Flowers were never delivered on Saturday, so I called Avas, they told me it can take 4 days. I told them that was unacceptable and I wouldn't have ordered them if they couldn't guarantee getting there before Mother's Day. They said they would try and get them delivered on Mother's Day. Nothing came until the following Tuesday. What did show up was a card with both my mother and Fiancées names misspelled. Joan, was Jone and Deanna was Viana. I spent $77.81 for the attached picture of flowers...6 roses. I was surprised to see the card came from Clifford's in Quincy Mass, so I called them. I spoke with Liz who was nice enough on the phone, and apologized about the late delivery, and agreed the flowers delivered were nowhere near a $77 order, even with the premium that Ava's charged. Ava's is the call center florist for Cliffords during their busy season. Liz told me I would have to deal with Ava's directly. Ava's requires you to email order number and issue. So I sent pictures and recapped the story, and CC'd Liz from Cliffords. Two weeks pass and I don't hear anything so I email Liz from Cliffords. She said she has reached out to Ava's but hasn't heard anything, and I would have to follow up which is ridiculous. I just called Ava's, and they said they never received my email but have received Liz's emails, but they never reached out to me. The guy from the call center said the best he could do was credit $20. He tried telling me I ordered some fancy arrangement without once apologizing for the late delivery or the names misspelled. I hung up the phone and decided to voice my frustrations on Yelp, which I was trying to avoid, because I know how detrimental bad reviews are to a local business. End of the day, the card that was delivered was from Cliffords and the product that was delivered was from Cliffords. They probably need to think about who is handling their phone orders. I was up early on a Sunday and needed some flowers for my niece who had recently announced she is having a baby. My boyfriend recently got me some flowers at Cliffords that l loved so I thought I would go there again as he said he was pleased with their service and selection. I order from Cliffords anytime we have an every. This time I ordered a corsage tropical theme for my brother and his fiancé's bridal shower. It was beautiful!! They got my vision exactly from the photos I sent and it exceeded my expectations. I and the bride loved it. The wrist band was beautiful rhinestones though big on her because her wrists are tiny but unavoidable and it still looked amazing. I wish I took up close photos of it! This florist goes beyond the call of duty. First I had neck surgery and it was pretty severe. My friend from out of state sent me flowers. I live in Melrose which is not that close. The flower arrangement was the prettiest of all the flowers I received and it also lasted the longest. I called them to let them know how beautiful there arrangement was and they were so gracious and nice. I would truely recommend them. They are a class act. They substituted 90% of what should have been in the arrangement with cheap fillers: babies breath, daisies and carnations. The original design had Hydrangeas, roses, and stock in it. This past week, we ordered a wreath for my uncle's funeral and felt compelled to share exactly how lovely it was. Stopped by here for a spring bouquet for my cousin. Didn't know the area well but it was right on the way. The flower selections are beautiful - a vibrant happy bouquet at a really great value too! I called Cliffords for a funeral arrangement for my sister in laws mother. I wanted a plant since I knew there would be plenty of flowers. The arrangement she received was, by far, the most impressive arrangement I have ever seen. Everyone complimented us on it. There were Orchids, Philodendron, a Mum and other plants. I would highly recommend them. When I lived closer I used them but hadn't for a long time when I received a Mothers Day arrangement that was beautiful. I received flowers from Clifford's, and was completely shortchanged (please see photos). Their delivery person arrived several hours after I had left for the day. A coworker took a picture of the flowers for me, but after speaking to the delivery person about how I would not be back for several days to get the flowers - they agreed to come back a few days later to "re-deliver." Days went by, but they did not return. A call was then made about the status of the flowers (4 calls to be exact, and I was even reassured that they were going to receive a "free upgrade" for the inconvenience). A WEEK later the flowers arrived... and they were delivered to the wrong location. There was NO "upgrade" - and instead completely shortchanged the original arrangement (which I had a photo of) for a tiny, wilting bouquet that in NO way resembled the arrangement on their website. Don't use this florist. We have been receiving a potted poinsettia plant for Christmas from dear friends for years. Each year, the plant is more spectacular than the one before it. Except for this year. We received a dying and tiny plant from Clifford's that was a joke. Dozens of dead leaves fell off the plant when we opened it up. You know those tiny potted flowers you can get at Stop and Shop? Those looked a million times better than what we got from Clifford's. We were so horrified that we sent a picture of what we got to the friends who sent it. They will never do business with Cliffords again, and, based upon our experience, neither will we. read more

One star is too much for this place. I received flowers as a gift from my parents. I was really shocked when I saw them as I know my parents aren't cheap but I basically received what looked like a jar of weeds so I knew my parents had been ripped off. I got no satisfaction from the girl that answered the phone, just a condescending tone telling me that she was sorry I didn't like them and offered to send me another bunch - Eh, no thanks, one eye sore is enough!
