Could have been way better. Paid for the premium size arrangement for my father's funeral and it was so small it was placed to the side and back. Yes, the crystal cross cost $60 according to the owner (surprise!), AND even though the shop is next door to funeral home, the delivery fee was $20 because "it was done on line"...are you kidding me??? If I had gone in with my mom and brother and sat down, they waive the fee. Of course, none of this is made known up front...wow. Last time for me... As for Anita's comment below? Sweeney's is next door so stop with "the drivers deliver in sleet, blah blah blah". You didn't recognize the last name matched the 4 other arrangements being delivered (my mother's and brother's)? No, I didn't come in to shop because I live in Arlington. I gave you a chance on the phone before I wrote this review, and you gave me the same response that you wrote. read more

The pictures say it... Not what I ordered, $150 for the "premium", I'm clueless why. Gave a sincere call over, as a business owner myself, and was treated like I was dumb by a rude woman, repeating "the cross was worth $60". NO WHERE does it state the cross (which you can't notice in our bouquet looking thing and felt pretty light for "crystal") was a $60 piece .When a customer has an issue, especially in a time of grief, I work with them to assure they know I hear them out . Maybe they need to learn that, and not use "inflated prices" as an excuse.... I ordered a $60 arrangement from Baby Boyle Bouquet in Charlestown for Christmas, and it is stunning, unique and double the amount of flowers, I highly recommend using them, and really think twice on this place .. read more

I called several florists in the Quincy, Ma. area, in order from their online listings. I needed a red geranium delivered. None of them had one. However, when I called Fabiano's Florist, the lady asked me what it was for. I told her that it was for a lady who lost her husband recently. They used to bring a red geranium to Winter in Florida for 2 months every year. Although Annette didn't have one, she offered to call one of her suppliers and have me call back in 15 minutes. But, to no avail, she couldn't come up with one. She also offered to go to the marketplace where her products come from the next day. I took her up on that offer. She came up with a perfect one, and delivered it that day. I am deeply thankful to Annette for her efforts to make the sale, and to make a couple of people as happy as can be, under the circumstances. read more

The owner (not completely sure) was entertaining a guest inside the store who refused to wear his mask over his face, ignored me completely as I'm standing at the front counter until a young woman came from the back to ring me up. My husband and I hired Fabiano to do the floral arrangements, bouquets etc for our wedding and they were stunning! Dot was in charge of our wedding and did an absolutely fabulous job. I was truly happy and thrilled with everything. I brought in pictures and designs of what I envisioned for the day and Dot got it to a T! We had a mixture of high and low centerpieces at our reception, pew bows and a few other church arrangements and they all came out beautifully. One of our guests, who works for another local florist, complimented the arrangements and asked who the florist was because she was so impressed. I ordered an arrangement from Fabiano's for my grandmother's wake. Having never ordered flowers for this sort of event before, I wasn't sure what to ask for. The woman I worked with on the phone was very helpful. I gave her the amount I wanted to spend, and she advised me that any delivery fees and taxes would be additional. From there, I let her know that I wanted something colorful and bright, and gave her the information for the card and ribbons. Essentially, I put myself in her hands to create something appropriate to remember a much-loved grandmother. I was so impressed by the final results. The arrangement was huge, much bigger than I thought it would be given the money I spent. The flowers were just as vibrant as I'd hoped. The floral arrangement amounted to what looked like the pulling together of random flowers with no artistic theme. A subway station bouquet would have been far better. I have posted a few pictures of the beautful arrangements I have had delivered from Fabiano Florists. I have flowers delivered by them 3 to 4 times a month. I REFUSE to go anywhere else. My GF sends me a picture of the arrangement everytime she recieves one. I have kept them all. I couldn't believe reading the negative comment on the "bang for your buck" I had flowers delivered to my GF's work (Hair Salon) and she told me that every woman that saw them commented on how beautiful and HUGE they were..... And I have the pictures to prove it !! I'm just saying to the women of Fabiano's Florist...... Do NOT take this one womans comments to heart. There are alot more women in that salon, and one big Irishman that says......... "Her elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor!!!" Keep up the Fantastic work !! :) read more

The only reason I even gave them 2 stars was because the flowers bloomed so beautifully. I walked in, I would like a dozen long stem red roses in a box please...we dont have boxes...ok...can i have a beautiful vase maybe a lenox vase...no we dont have those just those over there on the shelf...yah plain 2 dollar vases..no thanks..ok well then how about just wrapped with extra babies breath... we dont have baby breath...lolol well ok, what DO you have...we use those over there...hmmm well i guess that will have to do...thats $69.99 ok but your sign says $39.99 walk in only...the babies breath replacement is extra...wow !!! But i will say when i gave them to my wife they were loved !! and in a Lenox vase they look absolutely spectacular. Its a shame because Fabianos is doing such a disservice to thier flowers. The ugliest, most embarrassing boquet I have ever sent someone! My friend has late stage cancer and I wanted to cheer her up. I'm afraid this boquet may do her in!! I requested light, sweet colors that blended, and I showed the woman on the phone a couple sweet and subtle boquets I liked on the web site. She was very nasty and said "Leave it up to me. I know what I'm doing!" She created and delivered a ghastly white and red concoction that is harder to look at than a tacky fourth of July boquet from the grocery store.... And it cost me a mere $85! A few months ago I contacted Fabiano's for flowers for my husband's 50th birthday party. The theme was 50 Shades of Grey and I wanted several arrangements that were dark and intense - but also not break the budget. I had the pleasure of working with Dot Doherty who not only worked within my budget, but also did gorgeous red and black centerpieces which were perfect for the theme! Dot's aesthetic is really on par with Winston's, but at a much more manageable price point. The entire staff at Fabiano's were friendly, courteous and Dot took the time to even do a mock-up of what she had in mind, which she texted me for feedback. I will absolutely be back and if you want a talented floral designer, ask for her. :) The entire staff are amazing and truly are a credit to doing business locally with a home grown brand. Following my father's death, I got a note on the door that Fabiano's tried to deliver flowers. I called back immediately, and they said they could come before I left for work at 10 the following morning. I called at 10, and they said they had it written down that I go to work at 10:30. I said I was pretty sure I know what time I go to work, and the woman said "well this is what they wrote down." That was Thursday morning, and I said I wouldn't be back until late Friday. She said to call then. I got home at 9 p.m. Friday evening and assumed they were closed. They didn't come over the weekend, and on Monday I got another note on my door saying they tried to deliver flowers. I called them back when I walked in the door at 4 p.m., and she chastised me for not calling them on Friday. The rude woman said, "you were home all weekend and you didn't call us?" Hmmm, what could "I'll be back late Friday" have meant? They would not come back today, nor before I go to work tomorrow. I let them know they can keep their flowers.
