I was blown away by the compassion and attention to detail when ordering arrangements for my life parter of 41 years for my son wanted a dad one and then we deleted family one. I spoke with Patty who listened to my heartache of the sudden passing, she showed true compassion and took care of the things I had not thought about. She went above and beyond my expectations with a warm smile, a hug and true caring approach. She did something unexpected that I will be forever grateful for. The arrangements were perfect in every sense everyone commented on how beautiful they were. We now consider and will use Holbrows as our family flower shop. Thank you from our broken hearts for all you did to take the pressure off. Anita Perkins on behalf of Vincent Adler read more

Ridiculously small funeral flowers sent. It was so small it was placed on the podium with the signature book. I think it being such a small size for $50. should have been mentioned... read more

I have received flowers many times from this flower shop. I love that they are a local, small business. Their flowers and arrangements are beautiful. The team at Holbrows goes the extra mile to make sure that the flowers are delivered with care, on time, and that the recipient is home. And they have been very helpful when any delivery challenges arise. Thank you, Hlobrows! read more

I am so grateful firstly to my Dear friend who was so thoughtful to contact Holbrow's Flowers in Quincy (617) 328-1730. On May 1st I when Rodney was knocking on my door I was sure it was a mistake. Oh was I thrilled to be wrong! I opened the door to the most delightful delivery person I've ever encountered! Rodney was an absolute dream, standing with the most fabulous arrangement of flowers in the cutest ceramic basket! Today is the 17th and I'm still making arrangements from the arrangement. The roses, which literally were the size of my fist are still hanging on too. It's been 17 days!!! I have been, as we all are, going through a lot. Waking up, or walking through a room and seeing these flowers just makes me smile so much! I can't tell you what that means when you feel like crying! Thank you so much. We must stay positive and see the beauty in our lives no matter what! Thank you! read more

I bought this incredible bouquet for my wife and she loved it. The service and turnaround time was fantastic. When I was mixed up on delivery date and had to call back, they happily assisted. I found out later they're family owned and have been in business for over a hundred years, how cool! Can't wait to continue using them going forward. read more

I received flowers from my 90 year old for my anniversary. He would be crushed if he saw how poorly the bouquet of flowers was that we received from this shop. The sunflowers were drooping and the bouquet was dead in two days! My dad is financially limited and wanted to do something nice thank us for our support How disappointing! read more

Once AGAIN, dying flowers in a bouquet I received from this place. 4 brown lilies. Unbelievable! They just don't learn. When I called for a refund, the woman was very rude, argumentative and never even apologized. And she said they'd have to pick up the flowers if we wanted a refund- probably to reuse them in some else's bouquet. How are they still in business?! I think she just wrote herself a fake good review- I told her to look at all the poor reviews here and she claimed there was only one. Apparently she can't read or count In addition to having no concept of customer service. read more

my friend was trying to send me flowers for my birthday and requested for them to be delivered on August 4th. on August 3th I was not home until 3:00 pm I got a delivery notice hanging on my door saying to call the number. saying they came to my house at 12. I left about 5 phone calls at different hours on august 4, and 5th. still no answer! my friend was wondering why I haven't texted her about the flowers so she had to tell me on the fifth if I receive them and I said no she tried calling the store multiple times as well. still haven't heard from them trying to get a refund. Way to ruin a surprise! I hope this company does better in the future read more

Poor quality A surprise delivery that was a disappointment. I called to complain the flowers were broken and looked like they would be dead in two days. You can get MUCH better flowers from whole foods. Not to mention how much it costs to have flowers sent to your work place. The company will be sending a replacement so hoping those won't look half dead. Do not order from this company. read more

Awful. Awful. Awful. Really zero stars! Ordered flowers to be delivered to her office on valentines day by 3 pm. They said they could do it. I checked in with them at 1 pm. They couldn't tell me where their driver was. They asked me for a secondary address in case they couldn't make it by 3. They delivered to her office at 4:30 pm after she left for the day. And, charged $80 for 6 roses and 6 carnations. Stay away!! read more

I will never use these guys again. After placing an order yesterday for GUARANTEED delivery today, I called to inquire about the status of the delivery. The woman on the other end of the phone said "Oh, we don't deliver there.." I then wondered why I was quoted a price for delivery "there" and asked "why did you take my money then" To which she responded that they probably wired the order out. I asked again how to find out the status of the delivery. The lady said they were way too busy and she couldn't answer my question because they were so busy. She said all I could really do was call back tomorrow. Funny how they weren't too busy to take my money. If I could cancel I would. And I will NEVER use them again. The customer service and satisfaction quality is horrendous read more

I randomly went there and haven't been anywhere else since. I have bought many flowers from different florists and between the customer service and the quality of their product they have been the best by far. They really take the time to put together flowers that reflect the person they are for. I highly recommend them. read more

I recently had surgery and my grandmother used a 3rd party site to order flowers for me which came from Holbrow's. The delivery woman called me and when I answered my phone she was shouting "A** Hole, you are an A** hole". She was so loud that my mother could hear her from across the room and it wasn't on speaker phone! I was terrified as it was from a random number and I was not expecting the flowers. It turns out she was upset because another resident would not let her into our building since it was after hours so she was shouting at the resident and not me. I was very upset and she just kept saying "well I wasn't yelling at you" thinking that made the situation okay. I called the florist who again had not sympathy and said "well she feels really bad". We called the company that the flowers were ordered from and they felt horrible and refunded us and sent new flowers from another shop. Then I received a call from Holbrow's telling me that if I want the order refunded then I need to return or they need to retrieve the flowers!! The manager came to retrieve the flowers again was very rude and did not understand why we were so upset at the situation and continued to blame the woman who did not open the door even though it is building policy to not let people in after hours unless they are your guests. I and my building will never use this florist again as they are extremely unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for their actions. Speaking to the bouquet- the flowers were nothing special! The balloons were deflated by the end of the first day with them and the flowers looked like gas station quality. read more

Just awful! I ordered flowers through an online company, and it was fulfilled through this florist. What this florist delivered did not in any way resemble the arrangement that was ordered. Rather than a nice full arrangement that was ordered, their arrangement consisted of 6 carnations, 2 lillies and a few other flowers. The arrangement looked like it was assembled by a child, without symmetry. The left side of the arrangement had practically no flowers at all. This was extremely embarassing given that the flowers were for a friend's mother's wake. (Note: by comparison, another arrangement ordered from the same online company on the same day was fulfilled through a different florist and actually looked better than what I was expecting.) read more

Holbrows did the flowers for our daughters wedding up in Maine. The owner easily accommodated our multiple requests! They had to travel to the wedding .She made arrangements to keep the flowers cold and they were beautiful. They were just what my daughter wanted. So glad that we were able to have them do our flowers. read more

I received flowers from my daughter on a Monday "just because". However, on Wednesday morning, the roses had already died. I called the florist and was told I would receive a call back. Of course, I did not! People spend good money and should receive a decent product. Don't waste your $$ on this florist! read more

Don't buy here! These were the worst flowers I have ever received in my life a horrible waste of money. Avoid. Awful!

Ordered Flowers last minute a week ago and was very impressed. Patti, the store owner even gave me a history of the family owned business while putting together a beautiful collage of flowers for me! With the respect and kindness I received on my visit and the low prices for such great quality, I highly recommend Holbrows in Quincy. read more

Absolutely the worst flowers ever! My son spent $$$$ and I received a little bowl with 4 sick looking sunflowers all hanging over the bowl. When I called for Holbrows to take the sick bouquet back the owner was beyond rude. FAIR WARNING -STAY AWAY! read more

Just has a horrible experience. Received flowers with with holes in the flowers and looking like they will not last a day. Messy handwriting and not correct spelling. Just sloppy. I called to let them know and the when the florist got on the phone she was absolutely rude. I ended up saying I do not want anything from you. I really just wanted them to know. THEY need to work on customer service and product. read more

Worst flower shop. People there have absolutely no clue how to even warp a dozen roses. They jack up prices during holidays and the products they deliver are the complete opposite. Feels like a few random people decided to open up a business that they absolutely have no experience. Zero star! read more

I had a good experience with this shop. I ordered a small bouquet for local delivery, and it arrived on-time and was very pretty. The arrangment was almost identical to the picture, and I spent less than the "pictured amount." There were additional delivery and service fees added above the original price, but that's to be expected. I did not have any direct interaction as I ordered online, so I can't speak on the staff attitude. Overall, I was happy with the purchase. read more
