Called for an arrangement to be delivered for our future daughter in laws 30th birthday. Very easy ordering process and the lady taking our request was helpful in terms of what to order. Flowers were a big hit. Beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers (not aged) and the vase was also very nice. Very happy with the experience. read more

I called Hallie's Garden due to the number of 5 star reviews and now adding my own! I called Hallie at the end of her work day - actually I think she'd already closed - not only did she take my call but she didn't rush me through our order and contributed wonderful ideas to the gift note. She put together the most beautiful "thank you" arrangement for a virtual cooking event and our chef was so appreciative and impressed. The colorful creative arrangement looked gorgeous onscreen as well throughout our zoom event. Thank you Hallie! read more

Hallie went above and beyond for a baby shower I was helping with! I called TWENTY florists throughout the greater Boston area to find a shop who could do bunches of dried flowers and Pampas. Hallie not only took the time to ask questions and give information, but she also went out of her way to put together exactly what we were looking for VERY last minute (which was my fault!). She was gracious about the timing of everything and I couldn't recommend her enough solely based off of her customer service and extreme talent in creating the exact vision we had. I will be buying from Hallie's Flower Garden from here on out. read more

Beautiful flowers! Exceptional service! Call Hallie! Here's why... I live in California and recently wanted to send flowers to my daughter in Somerville for a special occasion. I searched Yelp for nearby florists, liked Hallie's Garden reviews and decided to call. I am so glad I did. Hallie listened carefully to my purpose for sending flowers and made a perfect recommendation for just the right bouquet. The cost for the flowers and delivery was fair and reasonable. I placed my order at noon and she assured me the flowers would be delivered in the late afternoon. However, it was a hot day and Hallie wanted to make sure someone would be home to receive the flowers rather than risk leaving them outside in the high heat. She called me late in the day to let me know she couldn't reach my daughter. I expected to hear the delivery would have to wait until the next day. But no, Hallie kept trying and hours after her shop closed she delivered the flowers. I was so impressed by her extraordinary effort to help in this way. Hallie's flowers were fresh and absolutely gorgeous. Her service was truly above and beyond. I highly recommend Hallie's Garden! read more

Highly recommend. Too notch service and the bouquet we ordered was perfect. Staff are super helpful and will create custom creations.

Long overdue review from a Valentine's order that really blew me away. Fair price, such attention to detail, listened to the exact color requests (courtesy of my daughter to her mommy). Easy local pickup. I'm a fan! read more

Love Hallie! She just has a special touch. Elegant, tasteful. Never have been disappointed!

I picked up flowers in a bit of a rush, a couple of days prior to Valentine's Day, and in my short visit the shop was very charming! The staff were helpful in providing quick instructions and the flowers were absolutely beautiful (see pic). Their location is tucked away if going in person (enter at the center loading dock door--they have a sign), but don't hesitate to wander in. I will certainly return for future orders. Thanks HG! read more

The bouquet we received was beautiful and the contactless delivery went smoothly. Loved the flowers!

We engaged Hallie to create two large flower arrangements and four boutonnieres for our wedding. I mentioned that my future husband is a Buddhist and that although we were to be married in an Episcopal church, we were including Buddhist elements in the service and that I'd like the flowers to include some Buddhist colors like saffron. Hallie found beautiful saffron-colored flowers to mix in with other flowers and they looked fantastic. The arrangements were elegant but not formal which is just how I wanted them. The large arrangements stayed in place to grace the altar for the Sunday service the next day and I understand there were many oohs and aahs from the congregation. We could not be happier! Thank you! read more

I have asked Hallie's Garden to send my mother weekly bouquets - I live in Texas and Mom lives in the Boston area, and I want her to have something lovely and fresh to look at during the long winter months. The flowers my mother receives delight her anew every week. The arrangements are exceptional and the flowers are remarkably fresh and long-lasting. This has proven to be money extremely well-spent - you will not find a better florist in the Boston area - I know, because I looked and am thanking my lucky stars that I found Hallie's Garden. read more

Amazing. I called this morning from California and asked when an arrangement could be delivered. They were dropped off today on "somebody's" way home. It could have been Hallie; unfortunately I failed to get a name. Regardless.... they were received, appreciated and beautiful. The end result and the service were above and beyond! Not much more I can say as I did this on the phone and only just received the picture. Personally, I'm impressed! read more

We have a friend near this store who is coming home from the hospital, and chose to e-mail Hallie's Flower Garden as the best nearby florist from the locations whose products we could view online. Wow! Hallie's did an amazing job creating a gorgeous, customized, clearly well thought-out arrangement for my friend's birthday, which they delivered the same day I ordered it. I wanted to order flowers for my daughter's 25th birthday so read the Yelp reviews and called Hallie in Cambridge from So. California and gave her carte blanche to create an arrangement for my baby. My only requests were that it include pink roses and be very girly. First she rewrote the card for me after I choked up upon realizing my kid was turning 25. Then she sent me a pic of the flowers and they were beautiful but missing pink roses so she rearranged the arrangement to include pink roses and it turned out perfect and my daughter loved it. I was so happy and vaclempt as it's not every day your kid turns 25. Thank you Hallie. read more

I worked with Hallie for my wedding in September at the Harry Parker Boathouse. From the very beginning to the very end of the planning process - Hallie was one of the best vendors I worked with overall. I'll admit, I am not flower-obsessed like a lot of brides ~ I like flowers, but was blown away by the price it would take to put something decent on each table (and at the ceremony... and on the cake...). Hallie was completely open to working with whatever I had budgeted with and delivered on making beautiful arrangements that were beyond what I could have imagined on my own. Besides "getting" what I was looking for, Hallie was also incredibly responsive and on top of it ~ which is such a relief when you are planning a big event. Even when she is busy (talented people tend to have a lot going on, after all), she would remember her promises to call/email me back. She spent a lot of time with me going through each detail so she could make sure she understood how the flowers would fit in with all the other decor details. I would absolutely work with Hallie and her staff again (though hopefully not for another wedding)! She was a huge comfort in a sea of stress. Plus, it doesn't hurt that her shop is in Formaggio Kitchen, so you can pick up some goodies when you go visit her! read more

Hallie was the first florist I called when planning our May 2016 wedding, because I have long been a fan of her taste and arrangements. She and her team made all of our beautiful wedding flowers Hallie went above and beyond to make our wedding exceptional and made our big day so much less stressful! When we were forced to change our venue on short notice, from being down the street from Hallie's Flower Garden and Formaggio Kitchen, Hallie quickly made us new decorations to fit the new space. She also delivered them to us on the morning of our wedding day in Boston!! She is a pleasure to work with and put a smile on our family's faces when they met her too! Hallie and her team are incredible and really EXCEEDED all our expectations! For our wedding flowers, I originally had some pretty specific requests: I dreamed of using my favorite flowers from my family's garden from where I grew up in Westchester, New York. I requested flowers in plum, orchid, blush, and white shades, especially peonies, deep purple and white (a rarer color) fragrant lilacs, and lush greenery. I guess I was also quite specific about the greenery- I hoped for ferns and delphiniums, not ivy, eucalyptus, or anything like that. Hallie understood my specific visions (there are a lot of biologists and garden enthusiasts in my family) and our appreciation for flowers and plants totally aligned which made wedding planning that much easier! Hallie made orchid corsages and boutonnieres for our parents, grandparents, and grooms party that were beautiful and lasted all day. Lilacs happened to be not doing so well in May, 2016 but Hallie was able to find them and add purple and WHITE lilacs to all of the bouquets and create TWO gorgeous and fragrant lilac & delphinium sconces to adorn our wedding arch (including the metal vases), plus the rest of our beautiful wedding flowers. These two pieces turned out to be the best wedding decoration we had-- The folks at our venue, Top of the Hub skillfully moved these around the Skywalk Observatory, and these provided a beautiful backdrop as guests moved through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dining space during our wedding. She also made all my dreams come true with fragrant lilac (!) and peony (blooms AND buds!) bridal and bridal party bouquets. Thank you so much for everything Hallie!! read more
