100 stars - Cricket saved the day. My grandmother told me last night that she wanted to send flowers to her friends funeral at 9am today. I would do anything for her, so I told her I'd figure it out - which was much harder than I anticipated. Cricket was open at 7am, so I called and asked if they could do an arrangement to be picked up at (eek) 8am same day so I had time to drive it to the funeral home and deliver it. They were SO kind, didn't even treat it like an issue and had a beautiful arrangement ready when I arrived 45 minutes later. I can order from Crickets at any time and never be disappointed. I have ordered for special occasions, birthdays, and just to send flowers and every time I send something I am always surprised each time. What you see pictured is what you are actually ordering and being delivered and most of the time the arrangements are far better when you see them. Orders are always correct, delivered same day and the flowers last MUCH LONGER than other places/online sites. I feel compelled to write a glowing review for this florist. A week ago Cricket's delivered a (beautiful!!) arrangement to me, that was actually a week earlier than it was ordered for. This was no big deal to me or the senders, so we didn't report it. But Cricket's apparently realized this (very small) error, and sent me a larger arrangement today, to apologize for the inconvenience. I was so impressed! My husband decided to try Crickets for Valentine's Day as we like to support local businesses. And these turned out to be the most glorious roses ever! It's day 4, and they are peak: a gorgeous red, fresh, petal-packed and velvety on long and strong stems. The accompanying baby's breath is very substantial, and the greens are rich including some eucalyptus leaves. The whole arrangement is smashing, and it's a thrill every time I walk into the room. I ordered two floral arrangements for my grandmother's funeral service and I can't rave enough about how they turned out. I had so much to do that I ended up ordering what I wanted over the phone, but that doesn't diminish the excellent customer service I received. The floral designer (Anne) easily added the customization for each arrangement that I wanted and made good suggestions. She took care of notifying the funeral home and Church, so I didn't really have to do anything but show up and admire the gorgeous arrangements. Also, I had a lot of issues with aspects of planning the funeral, so I have to mention that when I called Crickets to check up and see that everything was going well, Frank was super-nice and reassuring. He didn't have any problem answering my annoying questions, even though I know they were probably busy with Mother's Day and prom season. The arrangements were so beautiful that I took them home after the funeral and the flowers are actually still looking great a week later! The value for the price was excellent too; they didn't skimp on the "good" flowers and the arrangements are nice and full. My grandmother truly would have loved the flowers! Ordered prom flowers for my son and his date. Went in to talk with them two weeks ahead. Sent them pictures of dates dress and pictures of exactly what we wanted. Called to double check that they got everything and if they had any questions. Said all was good. Went to pick it up and nothing like what we ordered. Was told they didn't really know what to do, they had to leave and go deliver flowers. Went to a different florist they remade the flowers for half the price. When they called the following Monday, they said they didn't know what happened but offered 20% off next purchase. I can't use that because I don't think I can trust that they will give me what I want/ order because of my previous experience and how flippant they were about the mistake. I have never written a review for a business before, but I felt the need to do so for Cricket's. I called from work two days before Valentines Day asking about one of the arrangements I saw posted on their website. Since its February and the flowers would die outside with no one to receive them and I was working all day, I asked if I could pick them up around 5:00. The gentleman asked me for my name and phone number and I said that he would stay after Friday's normal posted hours (4:00) and I could stop by and get them on my way home from work. Shortly after, I realized that I had requested the wrong arrangement and sent an email to them around 45 minutes after my phone call. No longer than 10 minutes later I received an email back saying they had acknowledged my email and had changed the order accordingly. Around 5:00 I arrived and the gentleman was waiting with my order. Beautiful arrangement almost, if not exactly, the same as posted on the website. Very knowledgeable, offered insight about the flowers, engaged in interesting conversations, very friendly and I could tell that he enjoyed working at this business and cared about his product. He offered to double bag the arrangement if I wasn't going straight home and my car wasn't warm and offered a complimentary card to go with the order. It's rare in 2016 to have such great and accommodating customer service and it compelled me to write the only review for a business I have ever written.
