Wait, what's a PLANT stylist? I literally never heard of such a thing. My only experience with "plant styling" prior to this was going to a plant store and purchasing plants and vessels myself (btw - vessels is a fancy name for pots, I learned this from the plant stylist). So I called and set up an hour long consultation with Marissa at Orly Khon, which was $250. That seemed a little crazy - again, I've never hired someone to help me with plants before, definitely not for $250 an hour - but the experience of walking from room to room with an expert who understands how plants live in different light environments and which plants would do well where - that was actually game changing. I wasn't really sure if I would actually hire them, but when I received the proposal I was so blown away by the attention to detail and the pain staking work and thought put into it, that I found myself shocked to agree to an expensive contract for plant styling (!!!!). 80 plants later, my home feels like a lush, verdant garden, and I am beyond thrilled with the work that they've done. Yes, it was extremely expensive. Yes, part of me feels a bit guilty about that. But the joy I get from seeing my beautiful plants every single day is more than worth it. If you have the money, I can't recommend them enough!

I live in Villanova, PA and wanted to order an arrangement for my convalescing daughter who lives in South End. I started the process in the usual way (Google search for "florist + her zip code") and Bloom Couture was one of the top-rated suggested resources. I was very impressed with the website-based presentations of the scores of suggested arrangements, and ultimately chose "Secret Garden." It was about noon today when I called and spoke with Owen, who listened patiently (and empathetically) as we discussed the look and "feel" of the arrangement I had selected. There was one substitution, since their peonies were out of stock, but the pink rose worked beautifully. There were logistical concerns related to the delivery, which Owen handled with great professionalism, and the arrangement arrived (in perfect condition) at my daughter's doorstep just about two hours later. I'm including the photos Owen had taken at my request along with the one my daughter took on its arrival; they speak for themselves. I don't know how many more times I'll be buying flowers for my daughter, but whenever that may happen, it will be my pleasure to give that business to Bloom Couture.

Jeri Solomon Floral Designs - Phenomenal!…read more I cannot speak highly enough about florist Jeri Solomon. I hired Jeri for my wedding and she was exceptional from start to finish and I recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional that is organized, experienced, and talented. I had the great pleasure of meeting via telephone Jeri in the fall of 2017, by way of referral from a family friend. At the time, I was living in California while planning my Boston wedding so I was limited to calls with potential vendors versus in person meetings. On our introductory call, Jeri was organized, concise and provided helpful guidance and suggestions that fit the parameters of my budget and desired aesthetic. I felt completely at ease after our conversation and confident that Jeri was Similarly, I was very impressed with the level of detail and thoughtfulness Jerry put into our follow-up call to ensure she understood my preferences and desired outcome for each aspect of the wedding day florals. Jeri also emailed me sample photos as we discussed options for centerpieces, ceremony flowers, bridal bouquets, etc. which allowed for an efficient and targeted selections. The wedding day florals were nothing short of exemplary. Jeri perfectly executed each aspect of the flower arrangements that I had envisioned and discussed during our calls and final meeting. I was overjoyed with the reception centerpieces - they were exactly on point with my desired aesthetic. My vision for the bridal bouquet was perhaps the floral piece I was most excited about; a long, flowing garland of greens and flowers affixed to wearable bangle. Although my unique bouquet request was a first for Jeri, the finished product was beyond exquisite and perfectly captured the concept I had envisioned. Overall, I was thrilled with the wedding day florals that importantly, fell within my budget and the precise itemized invoice Jeri provided well in advance of the wedding itself. In sum, I was thrilled with Jeri Solomon Floral Design, from the seamless handling of logistics and execution to the fabulous wedding day floral arrangements (especially, as noted above, the amazing bridal bouquet). Jeri is without a doubt worth every penny and I recommend her without hesitation for any event and floral needs you may have.

I chose Meghan Perlow from Poppy Floral to create arrangements for my wedding day on the 4th of…read moreJuly. The wedding was kind of casual and rustic, but I still wanted it to feel like a "wedding," so it was really important to me that the flowers have that simple yet elegant look. I also wanted to sort of play with the 4th of July color scheme without being overly patriotic. Plus, it was an outdoor wedding on a pretty hot day, so the flowers had to be able to withstand the elements. All these requirements, along with the fact that I don't really know anything about flowers, left me confused and without a "vision" of what I wanted. I was thrilled to find that Poppy Floral was able to take my abstract ideas and select flowers and arrangements that perfectly created the theme and environment I was looking for. The best part was my beautiful bouquet. Again, I feel I did a very vague job in describing what I wanted, but somehow Poppy Floral was able to design something completely perfect and specific to me. The boutonnieres turned out equally as lovely, especially since I was even more clueless as to what they should look like. And, when my husband realized last minute that he had forgotten his own boutonniere at home, Meghan somehow was able to create another, minutes before the ceremony, with some leftover flowers she had forethought to bring along. I can't imagine any other company putting as much care and effort into making my special day perfect. I highly recommend Poppy Floral for the incredible amount of thought and detail that goes into each unique design. My wedding day was a huge success and I can't wait to have another occasion to work with them again!
